Why must I upgrade RIGHT NOW or quit CC when an update rolls out?

After the umteenth iteration of this, I'm growing very tired of being FORCED to update my creative cloud manager every single time an update rolls out. I come from a an IT strategic background that strongely believes in not changing smoothly running setups until the most opportune time (between projects), and this is necessitating mid-project version changing.
What is changing so frequently with that app manager service? Why is it so critical that I be up to date that you force the exiting of the service rather than let it run one version back? Please consider changing this policy as it is disruptive to professional workflow, though, admittedly, the app manager itself isn't likely to cause a project jeaopardizing problem as much as, say, after effects or premiere are. THe more significant issue may simply be that it's annoying me and the staff here when it seems pretty much every time we ever click that CC icon, we have to sit through an update.

I agree. Sick of this kind of blackmail from Adobe.

    Otherwise, am very happy with this printer. 

    When a cartridge is replaced there is an initialization routine to prime the cartridges.  This will use some of the ink in the other cartridges.  If they were near empty the initialization of the yellow cartridge may be enough to trigger the low ink message on the other cartridges.
    There was a firmware update that addresses a few issues and includes inproved ink efficiency.  See the page here for information and instructions to update the firmware.

    What you are experiencing is 100% related to Malware.

    Protective cover as in screen protector?  This would have nothing to do with the silent switch.
    If you're referring to an actual case though... take the case off and see if the problem continues.
    It may be as simple as the silent switch being lose, which will require a device replacement to resolve.

    Thanks for the question. If you haven't already done so, you may want to update iTunes to v11.1 (released on Sept 18th). After updating iTunes, you can then update your iPhone 5 to iOS 7.

    You can't. THe time to update to 6.1.2 was before 6.1.3 came out. All you can access is the latest update.

  • 2 successful Windows 10 upgrades right now!

    This morning, I upgraded my work test machine to Windows 10 and everything went smoothly! All the features work and all is smooth. I still need to test our games to see which ones work right under the OS and which ones do not (Have already tested quite a few and keeping a list) 
    And then about 3 hours ago I upgraded a Gateway LT2030U Netbook with Windows 7 Starter. Basically I backed up my files, run the recovery disks on the unit and then stripped the unit of all it's junk. Then I went to the official Windows 10 USB download tool website and it downloaded the 32 bit edition of Windows for me. Everything installed fine and even though it's a little sluggish it's still better then what was on there before. 
    Now I am upgrading my HP Stream with Windows 10 64 bit Edition. This one is going to be a litle tricky. After using a Recovery on that unit, I am left with 18GB of storage space (stripping off all the unwanted programs and Start Menu titles and running CCleaner and Disk Cleanup)
    Due to the limited storage space I am concerned about the unit not having enough room to work with after the upgrade. But I think it will be fine. 
    It's a nifty little operating system that MS came out with and I am having fun with it so far.
