Although the following article specifically talks about the iPhone, it would apply to most small cameras and might cover what you're seeing:
Symptoms
A purplish or other colored flare, haze, or spot is imaged from out-of-scene bright light sources during still image or video capture.
Resolution
Most small cameras, including those in every generation of iPhone, may exhibit some form of flare at the edge of the frame when capturing an image with out-of-scene light sources. This can happen when a light source is positioned at an angle (usually just outside the field of view) so that it causes a reflection off the surfaces inside the camera module and onto the camera sensor. Moving the camera slightly to change the position at which the bright light is entering the lens, or shielding the lens with your hand, should minimize or eliminate the effect.

I'd had a crazy long all-nighter session sorting out images for a client, then decided - when I should have simply gone to bed - to set up the new photoshop. At the very start I made a silly mistake, tried to sort it out then decided to call it a day, responding to your remarks with the problem still in my head but feeling more and more tired.
Responded again to your comment earlier with the problem still in my head but not in front of me on the screen - however with a fresh head I just turned it all on, opened up PS and today could instantly see what was going on - Oops!

The camera icon appears so that you can take a picture quickly without having to enter your password. It is not responsible for the shutter sound. The Touch always made that sound when manually closing or going to sleep even with older iOS that did not have the camera icon.

You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on any iOS devices that you have by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Another problem is when I crop my picture in album then save,,it's still can't be saved and being loading always as stuck..and I hope you can get solution for my question...thanks a lot

If the album art is embedded in the MP3 file in an APIC frame of an id3v2 tag then the music player will display it.

Why wont camera roll from iphone show up on ipad when restored from iphone? I purchased the ipad and when I went to set it up I chose restore from iPhone. All the apps transferred and the photos in the stream but not the camera roll. When I restored a new iPhone the camera roll transferred.
is there a way to get camera roll on ipad?

Camera Roll photos from an iPhone backup will not be transferred to an iPad. iPhone to iPhone will transfer the Camera Roll, but iPhone to iPad, or iPad to iPhone will not transfer the Camera Roll.

Why does Camera Raw 6.7.1 w/ Photoshop CS5 not convert raw files from a Nikon D610 camera?

I just upgraded my Nikon D90 camera to a D610. I've been using Adobe Bridge to manage my photos made with the D90, and Camera Raw 6.3 to convert the raw files for use in Photoshop CS5. The new D610 writes different raw files, so I upgraded Camera Raw to the latest version (6.7.1) which is said to be compatable with the latest Nikon cameras.
The D90 files still convert fine with Camera Raw 6.7.1, but the raw files from the D610 cannot be read. Does anyone have any insight into why not?

There will not be another update for Camera Raw 6.x which is the version that is compatible with Photoshop CS5. So you will not have a way to natively open your NEF files from the Nikon D610. But you can download the DNG converter (version 8.3 RC) from Adobe Labs and use it to create digital negative copies of your NEF files. And then you can use those with the Camera Raw that you already have. Other alternatives would be to upgrade to Photoshop CC, or Photoshop Elements 12, or add Lightroom to your workflow. If you choose Lightroom you would have to use the 5.3 release candidate at this point to have support for your camera. It will, of course, be supported in the final version of Lightroom 5.3 as well as all subsequent versions of Lightroom.

T410s Web Cam Purple Fading

Has anyone else got the T410s or probably any T410/510 variant if they all use the same built in camera, I've noticed slight purple hue all down the left side of the image.
Normal ? Faulty ?
I dread requesting an engineer for just a faint purple hue to the left of the image, the machine won't be the same after its been opened up, just seeing if a few people have it.

Video at 16:9 , why not camera

I have iphone 5, but what i can see is the video recorder uses 16:9 ratio and very good quality and uses this sensor. but when it comes to still camera it uses 4:3. can anyone please tell me why is this? if 16:9 sensor is there why cant still pics use it as well.

That the resulting files are not seen by FCP as anamorphic is worrisome.
Unless we know what exactly you're doing (and I mean exact settings) it's hard to guess at what's going wrong. But, what happens if you simply, say, export a reference movie from FCP? You should, unless something is seriously wrong, be able to use the Conform Aperture property of QT Pro to correct the pixel aspect ratio (Clean or Production work for DV material, Production for HDV material).
The Conform Aperture property should also work with standard DV/HDV transcodes - meaning no custom frame size alterations - out of FCP and/or Compressor. It will not work with square-pixel, non-tape formats like Photo JPEG however.
What is your final desired output? DVD? Or are you just hoping to play your QT - using an editing codec like DV/HDV - on your Mac?

Why sound came out only on the right side ?

Hi guys,
When I play in on the timeline & view the sequence in the canvas, the music came out on both sides of my earpiece.
When I export it using QuickTIme, the sound only came out on the right side of my earpiece ?
I check both the sound lines in the timeline & they look identical.
Any ideas why ?

Sorry Ian, I should have make myself clearer. When I said the sound only come out on the right side I meant this:
Say there are 5 sections in my clips.
Section 1 & 2, exported file when played sound only come out from the right ear piece.
Section 3,4,5 exported file when played sound came out from both left & right earpiece.
Section 1 & 2 and Scection 3,4,5 is playing the same song except that the same song starts at section 1 and 3 respectivley. (meaning at beginning of section 3, I drag the same song to the audio track to repeat the same song)
Any ideas ?
