Why my Data was used when I was connected to my home internet.
I used the rest of my monthly data while I was connected to my houses internet connection. It does not reset until the 22. Why was my data being used while I was connected to MY OWN INTERNET!
Hello, my phone is a Motorola Droid Maxx Red 16gb, my plan is $60 a month
with unlimited talk/text 1 GB data. I found that I used my plan data when I
got an alert for hitting my limit that I set for my self at 900 mb. I keep
100 mb in emergency reserve. Yesterday at my house I was viewing YouTube
for a bit and then I was alerted I was out of usable data. I rarely use
YouTube outside of my house because it eats my data. I had used less than
400 mb of my data before yesterday and YouTube alone used around 540 mb. I
know I was connected to my home internet because my phone notifies when I
am connected or disconnected from my home connection. That's all the info

Click the blue button next to the wifi name, then hit Forget Network.
Then try to connect again and use correct password. -
Information in tab I was using disappeared and was replaced with details of files on my desktop and when I downloaded/accessed them etc. Why would this happen?
did you inadvertently drag a folder from your desktop into the firefox window?

If your temps are back to normal then the only thing that I would do is to completely uninstall the Avast software. See Thomas Reed's excellent Mac Malware Guide and pay particular attention to the "Do I need a/v software" section. 99% of the time, you don't and Mr. Reed only suggests the use of two av apps.

Hello, I have a Mac computer with NVIDIA 750M dedicated graphics card and monitor EIZO but the problem was there when I was working with Windows and Acer monitor. When I open a file from Camera Raw in PS this is smaller than the screen so I double-click with the tool "hand" to fit on the screen, but the picture loses sharpness and becomes blurry. If you magnify the image even only slightly with the tool "zoom" the picture comes back clear. In Camera Raw instead is always sharp. I solve the problem by turning off the graphics card in PS but often use plugin that need the graphics card otherwise the processing time is much longer. I ask for help.

7.1 update to IPad now unable to use FaceTime and iMessage says could not sign in check your network connection. Why am I seeing this when I am connected?
Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.
If that didn't solve the problem, restart your iPad and try again. If that fails, reset your iPad and try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

Does a Time Machine backup capture unsaved Word Documents?
I am looking for a Word Document that I am guessing I deleted though I think it was open when I was doing a backup.If you didn't save the document it would not be on your hard drive and therefore not copied via Time Machine.

ManishIt depends on how long you are on line. What you could do is reset your data usage in settings/general/ usage and then start your FaceTime session and check usage after your session

When I am connected to my home wifi, it says I am connected but the 4G icon doesn't go away. How can I make that go away when I am connected?
When I'm at my home, and on my Wifi, my 4G icon on my LG G2 is still present. No big deal. If the bits can flow via WiFi, that's what they'll do.
You might try (if you really MUST shut off the cellular radio):
Settings, Network Connections and More networks. Select Mobile Networks and uncheck Mobile data and data roaming.
Not sure if that will work - but give it a try. -
Im Using iPhone 4. i connected to my home WiFi router for browing internet.. Sometimes its automaltically disconnected and must i off and on it again for using.. why its happening?
Look on the support pages for your WiFi router for a firmware update for the router.
It's hard to say much more without knowing the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

I cannot open my gmail nor send any gmails on Firefox. My wife also has gmail and she has no problem on firefox opening or sending her gmails. Also, I cannot access my settings. It started when I was at a hotel last Friday using their wireless connection. When I turned firefox on, which automatically goes to gmail, firefox would not open my gmail as it stated that this was not a secure site. I probable did something incorrectly and I got blocked out. All my other bookmarks work fine. I can access my gmail using other servers. Please help. Thank you.

The screen on my iPhone has gone black while I was using it. It just "shut off". The phone is still working as I can hear/see it when it plugs into the computer, but the screen just wont turn on. I've tried the soft reset "holding down home and lock screen" and i've tried to restore settings. I went to the apple store and they said I had to send it to my provider (in another country) but my phone contract has run out.
Is there a way to fix this?
If not, is there some way apple can replace the phone? It's less than 2 years old. Surely the screen shouldn't just give out like that.

I have my browser set to open on comcast.net webpage and to never use tabs. I have been using firefox for years and am very familiar with it. Suddenly it has started opening on the last page it was on when shut down, and has started using tabs. When I delete Firefox from my computer, it still remembers all my settings. I had this problem once before years ago and ended up having to wipe my entire drive to fix it. I would like to avoid a drive wipe this time. I need to know how to get ALL of the browsers information deleted from the registry so I can get a truly fresh install. And yes, I have tried all the normal avenues and am pretty computer savvy. Please help before I go nuts. I am running the most recent version, but going back to older versions didn't help either. Thanks.
Bob SmithAnother possibility is that Firefox keeps crashing during shutdown, and so Firefox is recovering from a crash every time. To diagnose this, you can change how Firefox recovers from a crash: instead of restoring the previous session, it will show a list of what you had open so you can be selective or bypass it altogether.
Here's where you change that:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''sess''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes''' preference and change the value from 1 to 0 and OK that.
''Note: Please don't change any other sessionstore preferences without researching them first.''
