hey, just to keep you updated - there is now a fix available for firefox 25, which should address the particular problem of pages not loading unless the mouse is moved.
if you have downgraded to firefox 24 to work around the issue, please go to ''firefox > options > advanced > update'' and turn automatic updates back on. then go to ''firefox > help > about firefox'' which should trigger the update to firefox 25.0.1.
 in case you need to download the setup file for firefox 25.0.1 separately you can do so from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/channel/#firefox

firefox stops loading pages after trying to open a page with alot of pictures etc, with big size. it just keeps on loading pages with no result.
my internet is fairly low speed so i take my time but this happened each time i tried to open such sites.
even when i close that '''tab''' and try to open just '''google.com''' , it wont load.
its solved after closing and opening firefox again . but happens again if i try to open the same heavy site

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

If you have accidentally removed bookmarks then use "Organize > Undo" in the bookmarks manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) to get them back. 
The Organize button is the first of the three buttons on the toolbar in the Library (Bookmarks Manager). 
That only works if you haven't closed Firefox.

A few times a week

Firefox is shutting down windows I want to remain open. Example: I am done viewing one window. I click the X to shut the window and it shuts two windows. Every single time, attempt to close one windows, two windows close. Lately, I have been opening several windows with nothing but google search, just so it will shut that window and not something else I want to remain open. I could understand this if I was using tabs, but I am not. This has been going on for over two weeks. I don't like going back to history to open a window, I did not want closed in the first place. The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.

Someone installed babylon toolbar on top of Firefox - since then when I try to open a new tab, it automatically goes to a babylon search page, even though I have un-installed the toolbar.

I have ADOBE X reader installed in my systems. When I wanted to open an online pdf form, Mozilla puts up a error message and the form does not open.

When I try to open a online pdf form, I get a error message to close the reader and try it again. Sometimes, the message does not come but what I see is just a BLACK screen in Mozilla.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

In the older Firefox versions I could set, when I opened a new tab, my original homepage appeared, in this version i can't find this option anywhere.

on my other computer, when i click on firefox to open a new tab, nothing happens. i have 4 screens open and i'm afraid to close one as i can't open another. what should i do. i don't want to restart my computer. that's a different issue that has nothing to do with firefox. i do not have firefox 4 on that computer

Do you have Firefox 3.6 and the Ask Toolbar?
If you do, uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

When I open my Mozilla brower it opens up on the Mozilla Firefox Start Page but when I open a new tab it opens using Babylon search. This is something that has only just started happening and I don't like it and I don't want it on my machine. what can I do to get rid of it and revert back to all tabs opening with Mozilla?

When i right-click 'open in new tab', it opens new window instead.

that's pretty much it - when i want to open a link and i right click on it and select OPEN IN NEW TAB, firefox opens a new window instead. this started quite recently and i have not made any changes to cause it.

I had this problem too. Inspired by cor-el's suggestion, I just disabled Tab Mix Plus 0.4.0, and the problem went away.
What is a little weird about it is that for me, all new tabs opened in the '''same''' windows. I could have several windows open, but every new tab opened in just one window, and always the same one.
