Why my fla. animation stops at a certain point after previewing it in captivate 3

I have developed an animation using flash CS3. The animation works fine in flash (test movie, and published swf). When I inserted the fla. (insert animation) in my Captivate 3 slide, it stops at the exact same point each time while previewing the animation through the web browser. I have read on this blog that it may be a button or other objects on the slide that has a timer set. I checked the timeline. All of my objects are set at 11 seconds. There are rollovers on the same slide. I have tried to inserting a click box with the "pause project until user clicks" option, syncing the fps, redoing the flash animation and nothing works.
Can anyone help me on this?

It may depend on how you created the animation in Flash. Is the animation supposed to loop? If so, did you animate on the main timeline? If you did, that may explain it. You need to animate in something called a "Movie Clip", then insert the Movie Clip on your main Flash timeline.
And thus I have managed to totally expend any knowledge I possess regarding Flash. Most of it is a mystery, in a fog of an enigma, cloaked in a conundrum.

I'm trying to download Mountain Lion. The download stops at a certain point (79.34Mb) and nothing I can do will restart it. I have followed the tips in the 'restarting a download' page and tried cancelling the download and it always stops and the same point. The purchase page in appstore shows a Pause button, but pausing and resuming doesn't restart the download. What can I do now?

How do I stop the animation at a certain point after it has played part of it on a click?

I seem to be missing some key html knowledge on this! I have a drop down menu and when I click on the text on the navigation bar, I want an animation to occur (the menu to drop down) and then I want it to stop.

NOTE: If I put a sym.stop ("stop3); here after the play, it stops the animation before it even starts.

My assumption is you are laying down this animation in main timeline (stage). It starts in frame "label=drop2" and it continues until frame "stop3". Maybe this one helps:
- scroll to the last frame of the animation. "stop3" i assume.
- Create a "Trigger Action" (the code window)
- Call the sym.stop() to stop the animation at this frame.

I've just downloaded itunes on a new computer, and I'm downloading music from the cloud, but it seems to stick on certain songs and won't download them at all, stopping at a certain point. How do I get round this?

I've just downloaded itunes onto a new computer, and I'm currently downloading previously owned music from the cloud. However, it keeps sticking on various songs - it will get part of the way through and just stop, this seems to happen to about 1 in 10 songs. How do I get round this?
Also, once I've finished dowloading from the cloud, how do I get my library to display only the songs I've downloaded, and not all the other ones that I don't want anymore?

News feeds stop at a certain point in fb after upgrading to ios7!

News feeds stop after an hour or two of news in fb after upgrading to ios7 on an iPad 2! Just get a little gray dot at the bottom of the feed shows up and nothing loads after that point.

I've honestly found the best way to access facebook on the iPad is through safari. The app is buggy at best.

Specifically:
Battery does not charge from the USB power adapter
Important: Only original iPhone can be charged from a FireWire-based power source. If iPhone is connected to a computer that's turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the battery may drain.
Verify that the outlet being used is working.
Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.
Try another USB cable if available.

Blu Ray building process stops at a certain point in Encore CS 5.5 for Mac....

In Encore CS 5.5, I am trying to author a 3:21 hour long video as one timeline imported from PPRO CS5.5 on a BD-DL. File size is 38.30GB. In transcoding everything works normal. When it comes to building, it stops at 26.87 GB or 26.92 GB. This has been happening third time in a row. From the sound it looks that Blu Ray burner is trying to continue with the burning process, but nothing happens. When I tried to burn the file as Image, i got Error Code 25. Can anyone help?

Did it give any error when you say that it stopped at some point while burning the disc? If it didn't give any error, for how long the burning did not proceed further? Sometimes the progress bar might stuck at some point but the burning keeps on going. You might want it to go overnight to see if this really hangs at that point.
Error code 25 while burning a dual layer image is a bug in 5.5. This is related to some kind of layer break for dual layer image. This should have been fixed in 6.0.1 (patch update to 6.0)

How to make java "stop" at some certain point?

Hello, all. Currently I am trying to implement a slideshow method, which will display next photos every 0.2 seconds in a slide fashion. The problem is that while loop may be too quick to display every photo, so after some time, I can directly see the last photo. What can I do then?

An HTC charger worked for me. A Verizon Wireless branded charger worked for me. A combination of a Samsung cable and an HTC plug.

Issue playing scenes in test movie animations stop playing

I'm fairly new to adobe flash so I hope I use the right terms when asking this question. I am using AS2 in CS5.5.
I am creating a project for a class that introduced me to adobe flash. The issue is I have gotten to a certain point about 15 scenes.
During say the 15th scene scrolling through the timeline animations works fine, playing it on test scene works fine. When I go to play it on test movie it stops at a certain point.
At first I thought it might have been a misplaced stop action but there is none to be found. The weird part is every other scene I create after that
continues to freeze as well, the images are there, but the animations won't play. All my previous animations play before those with the issue, it's just
These new ones won't play for some reason in test movie, but work completely fine in test scene and the timeline. Can anyone help me figure this out please?

to remedy, remove one or more scenes from your original fla by shift-clicking all the frames/layers in a scene and pasting into a new fla. save the new fla with a new name and publish a new swf that you can load into your original.
there's no limit to how many swfs can be loaded into your original. you might find it convenient to put each scene (after your first few) into their own fla/swf.

Animation stops in the middle when preview in browser

I have run into a problem where the animation stops in the middle when I preview it in browser, but it is fine when I play it in the program. Please advise how to fix this problem. Thank you very much.

I've had this problem with a purchased song but never a ripped song. I think its an encoding problem with iTunes. One poster suggested converting the song, which kind of tells us that its something to do with the encoding. I can't remember the song that this happened with, some Tom Petty tune. But I do remember this, which is strange, this happened on my Touch but not the iPhone with same song.

Duplex printing switches to single page at a certain point in pdf file

Hi everyone,
I have combined about ten separate pdf files into one complete pdf file for a client. The problem is that when they print the file using duplex printing, they're saying that at a particular point in the document it switches to single page printing instead of duplexing all the way through. It seems to be switching to this single page printing at the start of a particular section, ie. I mentioned that I had combined separate pdf files into the one document and it switches to the single pages where one of these separate documents start. I went back to the original Indesign file relating to this document and noticed that when I pdf this I can see the following in the range field that I assume is related to section numbering as the document contains sections:
Range: +1-+12
The other pdfs that were used to create the combined file also have sections but the abovementioned numbering doesn't appear in the Range section like the problematic pdf I mentioned above.
Can someone tell me why the duplexing stops at this certain point? Does it have something to do with the section numbering as explained above? Also, I have tried to reproduce the issue from my end but mine is printing it perfectly well, i.e it duplexes all the way through, so could it be an issue with their printer or some setting they have? Or can I fix it somehow from my end by manipulating the original indesign file that has the sections?
Really appreciate any help.

It's probably on their Printer setup. Sometimes if you set print for duplex then another Operator comes in and uses the same printer and assumes it's simplex printing it can print duplex or whatever the previous print setting was used.

AVCHD footage, Timeline is yellow and will not render past a certain point ??

I am using Cs5, and footage is from a Sony NXCAM, AVCHD, 1920x1080i. Anyway, all the footage is the same, about 60 minutes worth.
I have an good video card, the 3800 so I am able tyo use the Mercury engine. And I have started this project twice now from scratch, with the same results each time.
From the onset, the clips I put on the timeline create the 'yellow' bar, even though the settings I use match my footage exactly. (Strange)
Some of the transitions I use turn the yellow area to red, and it doesn't play back well unless I render the entire work area. All is well until about 12-15 minutes in, then when I ask the software to render the entire work area it no longer does. It just starts playiong the timeline like it already did it. But the small red and yellow portions are still there.
So why it won't render betond a certain point is very puzzing!
I took about 40 minutes of footage directly to Encore and was able to put the whole timeline, red parts and all on to a Blue Ray disc.
I then exported the mixed colored timeline to media encoder, I wanted to create a smaller SD file for DVD and 'encoder' only encoded the green area of the timeline, about 12 minutes.
Anyway, I cannot get the timeline to render after about 12-15 minutes of footage. The time was slightly different on both projects.
Any help would be appreciated!

When Timeline will only Render a certain section, it is often that the WAB (Work Area Bar) has become set to less than the full Timeline. If that is the case, click the \ (Backslash key), and then Dbl-click the little block in the middle of the WAB to reset to the full Timeline.

Animation Stops Briefly

Hi. On rollOver a button it tells an MC to play. This MC has
a sound on a layer. However on(rollOver) the button it takes a
while to play the MC with sound when it should be immediate. Why
does this happen and how can it be fixed?

I'm having this problem too and couldn't find a solution yet... Using an animated symbol with a video, syncronised together in my project. When I change browser's tab, video continues to play but symbol animation stops and it continues to play only when I switch back to edge tab. So there is no more sync. between two elements... and this is realy boring. Any ideas with this?? Please help, thanks.

Why has Siri stopped working on iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 5? I've tried the disable and reboot but continue to get the network error.

Apple has not been forthcoming on the explanation. My Siri worked on my iphone4 (not 4s) immediately after upgrading to IOS5, but I take it they have redirected the servers that used to support Siri to only work with Iphone4s.
It is one thing for apple to only bundle the improved Siri with IPhone 4S, or for them to remove Siri from the Ap store.
But it is another thing all together for apple to purchase a company, and then cease the service that many of us paid for.
Attempts to contact apple at apple store and via email have been unhelpful.
