    For some prerecorded audio files the Transpose slider will not work reliably. I found no clear pattern, when it does and when not.
    If all fails, create a loop from the audio file. Select the region in the track and use the command "File: Add region to Loop library".
    Set the current key and tempo, name the loop, and save the loop.
    Now add it from the loop browser to a new track and delete your old track. The search field in the Loop browser will help you to find the loop quickly.

    The FN keys are controlled by Value Added Package and Flash Cards Support Utility. I think you have forgotten to install these tools
    You should check the Toshiba page again and download both tools. Start with installation of Value Added Package then restart your notebook. After this install Flash Cards Support Utility. Once again restart and all FN keys should work properly now.

    I cannot pause, advance track, etc with the in-control feature on ios 7. When my phone is locked and the music is playing, (ie. iTunes, podcasts or any other audio enabled app) the play controls do not work even when I access the in-control feature.  I remember this working after I updated. Now it's not. Anyone else had this issues or know a fix?

    Before i upgrade the Operating System From Windows XP to Windows 7 the Hp Mini 110 is working fine..
    All keys on keyboard is working and touchpad is also working.
    But after upgrading to windows 7 some keys on keyboard are not working like z,x,c,v, left ctrl and other more keys..
    what do you think is the problem??
    Hardware Issue? or Driver Issue?

    Welcome to the HP Forums!
    I understand some of the keys on your keyboard are not working after installing Windows 7.
    I do not see any drivers available for your notebook for Windows 7 on the HP website, so their might be some compatibility issues as it's going to rely on Windows update to find current drivers. This doesn't mean it will not work, but I cannot say for sure that it will.
    Try this:
    1. Click Start.
    2. Click Control Panel.
    3. Click Clock, Language, and Region.
    4. Click Region and Language.
    5. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
    6. Click Change keyboards...
    7. On the General tab, make sure English (United States) - US is selected in the Default input language field.
    8. Click on any other keyboards in the Installed services list.
    9. Click Remove.
    10. Repeat for all other non-English (United States) keyboards.
    You may also want to try rolling back to Windows XP and see if the issue persists. It is possible the issue is coincidental and not the direct result of the update to Windows 7.

  • Keyboard wireless key not working after upgrading to windows 8.1

    Hello,
    I am having hp pavilion dv6-6165tx notebook, where keyboard having a wireless button that turns ON and OFF all wireless devices, After upgrading to windows 8.1, HP Connection Manager is not getting installed, as well as Key is not working, key color turns red and white but no action is performed.
    Kindly suggest me some solution.
    Note: HP Doesn't provide drivers for windows 8/8.1 ONLY WINDOWS 7 for hp pavilion dv6-6165tx.

    Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv6-6165tx Notebook and the Wireless keyboard not working correctly. Here is a link to troubleshoot the keyboard.
    The HP Connection Manager is something that is for Windows 7 not Windows 8.1. I would uninstall this from your Notebook.  Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating. It has a troubleshooting tool in this.
    Make sure all your updates have been completed. I would try restarting my Notebook a few times.
    If that does not help I would uninstall the keyboard from the Device manager.

  • AltGr key not working after upgrade to Xorg 7.3

    So, I upgraded to Xorg 7.3, and everything seemingly worked fine.
    Then I tried writing an e-mail address, and pressing AltGr+2 which should give me an (at) symbol didn't work. After fiddling about abit, I concluded that  AltGr did not work at all.
    I tried the suggested solutions in the wiki, but none worked for me. I also tried setting Option "XkvVariant "nodeadkeys", but no luck there either.
    Here's the keyboard section of my xorg.conf:

    As you may have noticed, I have a norwegian keyboard. And if it helps, it's a laptop keyboard - I have a HP nc8430.

    I'm using the fglrx driver.

    It seems the problem has resolved itself. I did a pacman -Syu today, and although only libsamplerate was upgraded, my AltGr key functions properly again. Kind of weird, as libsamplerate seems to have something to do with audio.. But hey, it works, and I'm not complaining.

  • Mac Mini Wake for Network Access Not working after upgrade

    After upgrading to the latest OS (10.8) the WOL fuction is not work.  This used to work before the release.  i could see the Mac mini on my mac book pro even when it was asleep.  Once I click on it under the shared resources area I could see the Mac wake up.  Now as soon as it goes to sleep it drops from my mac book pro.  I am connected via WIFI but also tried via LAN.  Same result. Any ideas?  Seems to be a bug as I google this issue it appears to be impacting many people.

    Same issue here after updating my iMac to OS X 10.8. I can't use Logmein, wireless syncing to iTunes from my iOS devices, or my Logitech Server software for my Logitech Radio. Once the computer goes to sleep, it is invisible to the rest of the network. This all worked fine on 10.4-10.7. I have double-checked that Wake on Network Activity is turned on. I have disabled all networking interfaces except Ethernet. Nothing seems to help.

  • WiFi (Key) stopped working after upgrade to Windows 10

    I thought I would post this on the forum for those who are having the same problem because help for this issue is few and far between compared to the number of pleas for assistance from HP owners. When I upgraded to Windows 10 on my Pavilion, the WiFi stopped working and I could not turn it on using the hot key (F12). I searched for answers and worked hours trying to solve it until I came upon the only suggestion that worked for me: I had to disable fast boot (power options, change what the buttons do, "change settings that are currently unavailable" (?!?)) , so I could get into the bios and then I went into the bios by pressing f10 during boot.  Reset them to defaults.  (Changed from default back to what I wanted) saved and the wifi button turned white after pressing during windows 10 boot up. EDIT: If it does not turn on right away, try turning it on through the wifi settings. I hope this can help a few, who like me, struggled endlessly for a problem that few HP mods seem to be responding to.   • Media Keys stopped working after upgrading to Yosemite. Tried several things, what to do?

    I have a Late 2013 Mac Book Pro. After upgrading to Yosemite, my media keys (F7-F12) seemed to be working funny. They worked sometimes but not during others. A simple web search seems to indicate that Chrome is the culprit which I believe is the case. However, the instructions to disable Chrome from messing with the media keys does not seem to work (as my version of Chrome does not seem to have preferences to allow me to turn off its access to the function keys). The make things weirder, when System Preferences > Keyboard has the "Function Keys" option turned on, the media keys do not work (in fact F11 clears the screen to show the desktop). And when the option is turned off, the media keys work normally as though they are turned on. Additionally, when F11 and F12 are pressed (to lower/raise the volume), it no longer plays "test sound clicks" to indicate the changed volume. I have tried a PRAM reset to no avail.
    Any help is appriciated.

    For my hard drive that doesn't show up at all, the problem is not Yosemite per se. It's the USB3 driver incompatibility. Try using a USB2 cable (micro USB just like an android charger cable that plugs in half of the slot on your hard drive) and it will work. Or try connecting it to an older computer that has USB2 ports on it (with the original USB3 cable) and it will work BOTH on Yosemite and Mavericks. Of course it will transfer data at USB2 speeds. Apple screwed up the drivers again so we have to wait for them to 1. receive thousands of complaints 2. wait for eternity to acknowledge there's an issue. 3. take their sweet time fixing the USB3 drivers. Until then you can get by with USB2 cables. I hope this helps!

Now recently, when I connected my Iphone to Itunes, there was an option to upgrade the software, and so I did it. After successfully upgrading the latest version of software, My Iphone does not support the carrier sim card. Now I want to go back to my previous version of software. What should I do now?

  • Some of the Links does not work after upgrade to 2010

    Hi,
    I am facing issue in accessing a particular link after I upgraded MOSS 2007 farm to SharePoint 2010.  We used database attach upgrade method.
    All the sub-sites and links are working fine except for one, where I get HTTP 403 Error - The website declined to show this page. 
    What could be the issue?  Please help.

    OK solved it! It took time to figure out the exact issue, though the solution was fairly simple.
    The issue was only with one of the databases.  Due to its large size, we had restored it on a separate drive. Observed that there was very little space left on this drive.  I had to move the log files to a different drive to
    recover some space.
    After giving additional storage space to the drives, detached the database from web application and re-attached it through the Mount-SPContentDatabase command. This time the database upgrade was successful and could also access the link.
    Lesson learnt: Ensure that there is enough empty space left for databases at the time of upgrade (while mounting it).

  • Issues with getting the slide button to work after upgrade to iOS 7.02 and 7.03

    Ever since upgrading to iOS 7.02 and 7.03 having issues with getting the slide button to work to open up iPad 2.  Happened last week and was able to restore it to new and get it to work again and it worked great until one week later (this morning) doing the same thing.  Have tried restoring iPad to new 3 times (via itunes) and still unable to get the slide button to move so can use the iPad.  IPad able to charge, able to restore, able to sync with itunes even able to recover but not able to get past first screen where you have to slide to access iPad.  Any help would be greatly appeciated.  Live about 300 miles from nearest Apple store.

    I am beginning to wonder whether there isn't some weird problem with that Home button.
    Try this: Settings > General > Accessibility > AssistiveTouch = On
    This will place a button on the iPad's screen.
    You can move this button anywhere on the screen.
    This button gives you - amongst many other things - a soft Home button.
    To turn your iPad on, you can use the Sleep/wake button or move a small magnet across the bezel of the iPad where the volume controls are.
    If you use the magnet, then: Settings > General > Lock / Unlock = On
    Now should not need to press the Home button anymore.
    If this method allows you to use your iPad without a hitch, then suspect hardware problems with the Home button.
