tried so many times to print documents from my powerbook g4 to my ph deskjet 2540. even i did download the driver from HP but, still nothing. please, help and what to do about?

Also, what version of the Mac OS is running on the PowerBook? That can make a difference in figuring this out.

I have a two problems with my new Ipad 2 operating system iOS 6.1.3
1) I can not syncronize with my itunes purchaces that I have on my mac book pro (operating system mountain lion)
2) When i purchase items from itunes store the downloads never finishes
I have tried starting and re-starting. Resetting the Ipad to original settings and non of this have worked. Any idea to what I should do?
Thanks a lot, JosephineThat's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it... -
HP Deskjet 2540 will not print some documents, will print others
Hello everybody,
yesterday I installed my new printer Deskjet 2540 wirelessly and tested it. All (scan and copy) worked well up to the point where I wanted to print a Pdf file. It did not so I started picking other documents.
Some pdf files print without a problem, other won't. Some docx files print, other won't. In Excel or Oulook I haven't been able to print anything. In Outlook I was able to print to pdf and then actually print that pdf.
After some close looking, it seems the printing jobs are sent to the spooling area, but deleted within 1 second without actually printing.
I have already tried to reinstall the latest drivers (version 12/12/2O13) and using the HP print and scan troubleshouting. This last one gave me the green light and printed the test page without a problem.
Hopefully anyone recognises this problem? Any solutions would be very welcome.

First, download (can save right on your Desktop and use whenever you run into a printing or scanning problem) and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor which will search and fix common printing problems. This alone may resolve your issue. If the issue persists, continue on to these steps. Now, I would suggest installing Windows Updates, there will be "optional" ones there as well to install. If there are many updates to be done, this could take up some time.Install Windows Updates If that doesn't seem to do the trick, I recommend a Level 3 uninstall (uninstall_l3) and reinstall of the printer software and driver. Here are the tools and steps to use.1. Uninstall - HP Officejet Software and Driver Removal Utility2. Restart your PC3. Reinstall - HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows Hopefully the issue will dissipate after the level 3 uninstall and reinstall. If not, here is a link to Adobe to troubleshoot PDF printing problems.Troubleshoot PDF printing | Acrobat, Reader If you run into any other issues, please let me know. I have a networked HP L7780 all in one printer and I can not get it to fax through my Macbook Pro. I have downloaded all the drivers and it has passed all the tests. Every time I try to fax it shows the job paused. I can manually send and receive faxes but I can not do it through the computer.
Try deleting the printer, deleting the job queue and reinstalling the printer again.

Yes there is a way to solve this. As the error message suggests, use the -t
option on your WSL server. Look at

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Finder > Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go then move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Try the App Store. -

Slave instance can not synchronized with the master for a long time, and the gap of LSNs between slave and master are more and more larger. The transfer bytes per second between master and slave is 118MB/s , upper limit to the ethernet card. Why???
ENVIRONMENT:
1. A network program which we called mcdb is based on BDB 4.8.30. It is used to accept get/set requests and then query data from bdb or save data to bdb.
2. mcdb implements replication with bdb replication manager api. The default start replication policy is DB_REP_ELECTION, rep ack policy is DB_REPMGR_ACKS_ONE_PEER and rep priority is 100.
3. The bdb data files, bdb log files, region files and rep files are all in the same home directory.
4. There are two instances of the mcdb are separately on two standalone servers which has no other programs. These two instances are in one replication group which can elect a master automatically.
5. The master instance is online, which has lots of requests (get, set, delete).
ACTIONS:
1. Start two mcdb instances on two servers and the two instance make a replication group. Slave has already synchronized with the master.
2. Stop the slave for a long time (more than 20 hours).
3. Start the slave instance to synchronize data with master.
RESULT:
1. the gap of LSNs between slave and master are more and more larger.

Unfortunately, this issue is beyond the level of what is supported over the forum. Performance related issues are extremely complex and require an in-depth understanding of your environment and dedicated support. In a generic sense, you can look at this as a basic queueing problem. You have a server that went down and work is still coming in. When the server gets started it is possible that it may never catch up depending on new work coming in and the rate at processing the old work.
So what would you do in this case --- one thing would be to reduce the new work coming in. In HA terms this would be slowing the master down and you can increase DB_REP_ACK_TIMEOUT for this. Another thing you could do is add fresh servers to help reduce the workload. In HA terms, this would be the equivalent of restarting the client and give it a fresh look at everything. Another thing you could do is replan the system and load balance. In HA terms, it would mean something like take a hot backup of the master and reinit a client from scratch.
