My brand new iphone 5 doesnt charge help me

My husbands wouldn't charge either. We knew the cable was fine because mine would charge, but when we moved the plug to his, nothing. We tried charging his in the wall, from the computer, and in the car to no avail. It wouldn't even make the sound it makes when it's connection to charge. We brought it in to the Apple store tonight and they gave him another one. We tried calling Apple first, but was told it would be a few weeks until they could send a replacement, so if you have an Apple store near you, that's the way to go.

If your device has been jailbroken during the warranty, Apple will not service it.

my iphone doesnt connect to the itunes store anymore - when i am trying to download apps / update apps as soon i enter my password the error message shows. i really do need help the apple customer care doesnt have any advices phonewise :-(

since you cant uninstall the store and reinstall it I would first suggest resetting your phone by holding the home button and sleep wake button for 15 seconds until you see the apple logo appear if that doesnt work I would suggest restoring your phone from backup if that doesnt work I would restore your phone as new and finally if that doesnt work I would take it to a apple store..

My problem is this, one day I tried to charge up my Iphone 5 by conecting it on the wall and nothing happened (it only works if I turn it off first so it is not a problem of the USB cable). When I tried to do it with my pc (it has windows 7) the pc did not detect the Iphone neither the Itunes and I tried to do it in others pc and it did not work either.
PLEASE I REEDED ON INTERNET THAT THIS HAPPENED TO MANY PEOPLE AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO. ANY IDEAS????

That indicates a hardware problem with your phone. You need to have it repaired

Why does iphone stop charging at 100%?

I leave my phone plugged into the charger all night because I use one of the many alarm clock apps as my clock/alarm clock. Each morning, though, the battery is charged only to about 93-96% (presumably because when it hit 100% it stopped charging, but the alarm clock drained the battery).
Is there a way to have the phone resume charging if it dips below 100%?

Hi M to the C: Yes indeed the battery does stop charging at 100%. No damage will be done by leaving the charger attached. I leave my charger attached whenever I am near an AC outlet.

My iphone 5 charger has to be wrapped around the phone and not touched for it to charge. WHY?

have never dropped my phone. it has been well looked after but i am having trouble getting it to charge. i have to wrap the charger cord around my phone to get it to charge and cant touch or move the phone other wise it doesnt charge. i have tried many different iphone 5 charger cords and wall bits but it constantly has trouble charging. why? and what needs to be done to fix this. my partner also has this problem.

Try cleaning the connector on the bottom of the phone. Look into it with a light and magnifying glass, and clean out all of the lint and other gunk with a wood or plastic toothpick.

Do you actually mean the white cable with a lightning plug on one end and a USB on other
If so that is not the charger ,that is the cable
The charger is the device that plugs into the mains socket

These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
If it was an audiobook then they are one-time only downloads, to get it on your other devices you need to sync it to them and not re-download it oneach. Why won't my iphone 3gs charge even though it is plugged in?

Hi guys, so I've had my 3gs for nearly 2 years. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that charging it wasn't going easy. When my iphone shuts down from no battery life and I plug it in to charge, it charges enough to turn itself back on, but when it eventually turns back on it won't charge anymore? Even though it is still plugged in and switched on by the plug. So I have to take out the USB, turn off the switch to the plug, turn the switch back on, plug the USB back in and it charges again.
BUT, recently not even that does it. I've tried different plug sockets, i've rebooted it. I've tried leaving the USB cable in and just turning on and off the plug switch.
So at the moment it's just going through a circle of running out of battery, charging and turning itself back on, having 4% battery and dying again and repeating.
So I googled my problem and didn't really find a solution. I mean the plug and USB cable are fine. Clearly it charges fine because it charges enough to turn itself back on when it's shut down.
I found out that when the iphone is plugged in but turned off it still charges so I tried this when it started itself up again, and it charges!!
But why won't it charge when the phone is on and plugged in??

If your iPhone will not start up unless connected to power, you may want to troubleshoot using the steps in this article -

Specifically -
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

So bring it to Apple for evaluation. Can you not figure that out by yourself?

The only carrier in Pakistan that supports LTE on the iPhone is Warid.

No version of the iPhone 5 is listed as compatible with LTE on their network.
If you bought the phone from Warid and they are your carrier, ask them about it. If you bought it from somewhere else, then Stedman is most likely correct. You bought a gray market phone that's simply not compatible.
If you're using a different carrier, then it doesn't matter where you bought it, it's not compatible.
