Why is my "network lost" (no service) after apple reset my iPhone?
I went to have my iPhone 4 serviced for battery loss and a cracked back screen. They reset it and replaced the back screen. Now, in areas I used to have service I no longer have service. My daughter's iphone has 3 bars and I have NO SERVICE. Friends with iphones and Telus carrier had service while I did not. I'm with Bell but never had these problems before. I can't text or use phone...? Any ideas what to do or why this would happen?
As well...very strange but my camera when using flash photographs dull light over the subjects...looks like a fog without the subjects being visible..??? All of this after the rest.
help!Who exactly, serviced your phone? I'd take it back and tell them to fix it right.

My Iphone 5s shows "No Service" in the specific network area, but if the same sim card is used with other mobiles in the same network area, it shows good network.. i did restore,change sim card, reset all the settings but still not working... please help me..

I had to turn off automatic carrier (Settings - Carrier - Automatic toggle), select my carrier manually, and then turn automatic back on again. Fixed it for me.

Wow... you seriously over paid for an iPhone.
That probably explains why you have/had no clue you were purchasing a locked device and think it's an Apple problem to get it unlocked. -

Why has my 8x8 desktop app on my Macbook Pro running OS X Yosimite 10.10.1 suddenly stopped working while the app on my iPhone and the online service both work fine? Is this because of some recent software update by Apple? 8x8 support acknowledges issues with no current work-arounds? The 8x8 desktop app worked until early December, then quit. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app, but no difference.
The solution is :
1. Delete iPhone configuration utility. Just drop it to the trash
2. Run
sudo rm -rf /private/var/db/receipts/com.apple.pkg.iPhoneConfigurationUtility.*
rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iPhoneConfigurationUtility.plist*
3. Delete the whole folder: /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext
4. Reinstall iTunes (just over the previous one)
5. Restart

My bad, it doesn't really give you the details that you were looking for.
For wifi - you would have to reenter the password. I'm not sure about celluar data. -

I'm using the "Find my IPhone" app on my iPad and it can't even locate the iPad I'm using, not to mention the iPhone I'm looking for. They are both listed as devises, it just says they're both offline, which I know is wrong. I'm on a WiFi network and location services are turned on. Ideas?
