Why my Iphone5 could not repair in China?

My friend bought one iphone 5 for me from TaiWan on Jan,2013, due to the poor quality, the home button I found it does not work. So today I contacted the Apple retail store in ShenZhen(0755-26393400 Exit 5) and China Apple sevice No.400-627-2273 want them to give me more help for my Iphone, but I just be told by them that my iphone could not repair in China, they are only responsible for repairing the apple's product from Chain mainland, HongKong and Macao. TaiWan's products they could not repair. Why?????? I don't understand what reason they couldn't offer the sevice for me? Who can give me a reasonable explaintion??

There is a difference between warranty and repairs.   The two Chinese stores are correct if you are insisting on a free repair under your warranty.   If you will accept a 'paid for' repair they will probably oblige, though it is more likely to be a case of exchanging your phone for a refurbished one.
If they were to do that, the replacement phone would carry a warranty applicable in China.

    I generated a report in PDF format on web. I'm able to save this file and reopen in Acrobat Reader(4.0). But only for a specific query criteria, it generates,able to save the file but not able to open. It gives the message "There was an error opening this document. Could not repair file" when I'm trying to open the PDF file. My query criteria is search based on Location,From Date and To Date. I'm surprised why it doesn't open, only for a specific query criteria, more over when it is able to generate it. Can somebody help me out.

    Please try destype=file and desnformat=pdf , save the PDF in the filesystem. Then open using the Acrobat reader not with the browser and see whether you get this error

  • Previous system folders hav 10gb on an 80mb disk  could not repair vol

    I'm trying to install Virtual PC. It seems to hang and the reason I suspect is there isn't enough disk space. Can I delete the previous system folders? I shouldn't need them for anything I can think of. There are two of them 5gb each.
    I have another problem I ran disk repair and it said one vol could not be repaired in red but it did say 1 vol was repeaired. I'm not sure what this means since there should only be one vol on my hard drive? When I ran disk repair I got the following messages:
    Checking HFS+ vol
    checking Extents overflow file
    checking catalog file
    Reserved words in catalog record incorrect data
    checking multi-linked files
    checking catalog hierarchy
    checking extended attributes
    Invalid leaf record count should be 6706 not 549
    checking vol bitmap

    the vol was repaired
    1 HFS vol repaired
    1 vol not repaired
    I have MySQL Server and PHP installed. I just upgraded from Tiger to Leopard. I need VPC to run and I need space to install Windows on the Mac HD but I'm wondering why disk repair could not repair 1 vol and why it thinks there were two volumns.

    Is there a second partition for Virtual PC, or other use?
    In Disk Utility, each partition should be listed below the main line (with the Drive name/size).
    If there are two (or more) then you have multiple volumes.
    The one named "Mac HD," that was repaired, is almost certainly your boot volume, so look at the other(s).
    See what the format of each is, by clicking on it and looking at the bottom. If it's not some flavor of Mac OS Extended, then DU likely can't repair it.

    I ran the utility disk and this is what it said.

    Then I hit fix permissions and it said this

    I also downloaded Bitdefender Virus Scanner and it found nothing.

    Erase and Install
    1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button.  When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Quit DU after formatting completes and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
    5. After restart into Snow Leopard download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

  • Disk Repair notified me it could not repair the HD.  Iam to reformat the disk and restore backed up files.  OS Utilities give me a "Restore From Time Machine Backup" option.  I have not reformatted the disk;  does this restore option do both?

    Disk Repair reported that it could not repair the HD Disk.  I am to reformat the disk and restore backed up files. OSX Utilities give me a choice of restoring from time machine backup (which I have on MyPassport) but no information on reformatting the disk, which I assume I have to do first.  How do I reformat the HD ...or does the restore from Time Machine do both things?

    Boot OS X Recovery and use Disk Utility.
    If Disk Utility reported the disk cannot be repaired though, you should replace it with a new one.

    Before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
    - Did it ever work properly?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
    With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.
    Posts that consist of "iPhoto doesn't work. Help" or "iPhoto won't print" or "Suddenly I have no photos!!!!!!!!!!" mean that any helper is simply guessing. With information, s/he may be able to get your issue resolved sooner.

    The new GB 10.0.3 now lets you edit the Master Tracks Effects (Reverb and Echo), the legacy ones from GB11. However, when you click the Edit button at the bottom of the Plugin area on a Track, the Smart Controls window switches to to the Master Track and selects the (new) Effects tab. And this is where it gets stuck. It seems that it can't find the Plugin Settings. Maybe a file path issue.
    Anybody had luck to accessing those settings?

    Apple nor AT&T could fix my phone. I been calling them for the past two days non stop about this problem. And I been to both stores. I cant believe I have to send my phone in for repair. So much for a revolutionary phone, I say this because I had a phone for over ten years and NEVER had to send any of them in. And they had the nerves to tell me I have to pay $29 for a loaner phone. tisk tisk tisk apple, how dare you!
    And they took my plan on and off.

  • Could Not Repair Disk

    I am on a Power Mac G5 running OS 10.4.10 and have the following problem: When running Repair Disk (run from the install CD), I get the following error:
    Invalid Leaf Record Count
    Should be 0 instead of 989
    1 Volume could not be repaired
    Repairing permissions works fine. I ran Disk Warrior and tried Repair Disk again, but go the same error.
    The computer seems to be working fine, but the 'error' code is a bit scary. AND I think it happened after a Software Update!!!!!!!
    Can anyone perhaps assist in fixing this? I'm thinking about reinstalling Tiger (or awaiting the new OS tomorrow), but I'm not sure that is wise or what needs to be done.

    Disk Utility is now powerful enough to repair an invalid leaf record count error. You need a more powerful tool like DiskWarrior to do that.
