Why my pdf files become blank when i try to open them from the internet?

Everytime I open a PDF file on the internet my screen is always black/ blank

Please let me know what browser, OS and Reader version you are using to view the pdf files.
Try downloading the latest version of Adobe Reader from : http://get.adobe.com/reader/
and then try viewing the pdf. Also try viewing the document from a different Browser and check.

whenever i try to print a pdf from logic it comes out completely blank. one day it just started printing blank pdfs, but i can't figure out why. i didn't change anything in my preferences, or install any new programs. any ideas? i'm using logic pro 8.0.2 thanks.

greetings ..if you want to print direct from the Score Editor do this:
1 - Select what ever you want to print in Logic
2 - Next to the Logic Pro in the Tool Bar is File
3 - Go to File>Page Setup
4 - You will see a box there with a percentage. If you print blank pages
this could be because it is 2 percent or something. Return it to 100% and
it should print.
5 - Another tip that most of us Score preparers do is to print first to the desk top as
a PDF. This will show you exactly what the printed sheet will look like. There is often
stuff you miss and this helps to proof read it and not waste paper/ink etc

Are you not seeing the icon of the app you just downloaded (it happens sometimes, and the quick fix is to reset your iPad)? Or are you running out of space on your iPad?

If one drive works and the other doesn't that points the finger at the errant drive. They are cheap, replace it. To check formatting right click it in Finder and choose Get Info and look for Format type. Finally do you eject it when removing it or do you just pull it out of the USB connection?

Depends on the web site. The site programmer can decide whether or on a file can be downloaded/can be saved to your computer. If he/she does not allow you to do this, then your can't download/save anything to your local computer.

Depends on the type of DVD you are making and how you plan to play the file. For instance, you can "author" the file so it can be played on a commercial DVD player connected directly to your TV or using a DVD media player on your computer. On the other hand, you could also burn the file to a DVD as a data file which can then be copied to a computer and played in a general video media player like QT. You could also burn the video as a data file to a DVD for playback directly from the DVD in a general media player like QT but then you would have to specifically encode the video for CD/DVD playback.
Suggest you do a little research on the internet to discover the options available to you so you can better decide which work flow best meets your DVD burning requirements.

Files not showing when i try to open them in Adobe apps or Dreamweaver

I recently switched to Mac and currently have two machines, one at home and one at work. I noticed a few days ago while working on my mac at home that when opening files in photoshop or dreamweaver, files and folders were not showing, and i was only able to open them through the finder... i thought it might have been a problem with the portable USB hard drive, but the drive works perfect in my computer at work. Now, two days later im having the same problem with the mac at work, but this time accessing files in a network drive that we all share.
The number one problem I have is that while working in dreamweaver when placing an image in my HTML, i cannot see the file when looking for it.
Seems like the files in the finder are cached and only certain ones are displayed....
Any ideas? HELP!

Sorry, yes this is Microsoft Excel. The Microsoft XP has Excel files denoted as xl, the later versions of Microsoft Excel are denoted as xls files. The later verions of Microsoft Excel open the xl files OK, does Excel for Mac not able to do this?

Previews of files are wrong when I try to open them

My Mac (Grey/Blue Power PC G4) is 10.3.9 using Photoshop CS version 8. The problem is when I try to open files from a card reader. When I try to go to File Open then select on a preview icon, the preview image is totally different from the actual file. It seems like the preview icons were taken from past files. For example, If I took a picture of chair, the preview might be a shoe, but it will open up in photoshop as a chair. I've tried the card reader on two other macs, thinking it might be the card reader itself, but the preview images were fine on the other two computers. I've created a seperate user account on this Mac thinking it might be the preferences. It showed up correctly on this new user account. I threw away the old preferences on the user account that I am having problems with and restarted. Tried it again and the previews are still wrong. I have also reinstalled Photoshop on this Mac but I still received the same problem.

I don't think that one is the cause of the problem.
I am pretty sure that the trouble must be coming from your User's Library so have another look in there. Check each entry fully in Column view including:
User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge/cache.
Or you could just abandon your old user account; or pull a copy of the whole User/Library to your Desktop; trash the contents of the original and reboot.
Then put the contents of the copied folder back into your new Library folder a few items at the time as you find that you need them.

My HP Photosmart C4780 just shoots out blank pages when I try to print anything from the internet.

The exclamation make is an indication that iPhoto has broken the file path to the original photo.
Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I tried deleting FireFox and reinstalling it multiple times, and a message pops up sometimes that says FireFox may not have installed correctly, so I follow the steps, but all the extra icons on my desktop don't go away. This has happened every time I have downloaded FireFox. The browser itself works, but I need to know how to get rid of these icons, but still be able to use FireFox. This is on a new computer, with Windows 7.

Managed to solve this myself. Just went to properties > hidden.
