Why? my personas height is smaller than the other users althought i set it into 200pix , such as your help advice.

in preview , my personas height seems short in comparision with the other personas.

A Persona covers the user interface part of Firefox (toolbar area) and not the browser window with the web pages.<br />
Add extra empty toolbars if you want to see more of the persona.<br />
You can create extra toolbars to get extra space via View > Toolbars > Customize<br />
You have to put something on a toolbar (drag a Space item onto it) before closing the Customize window because empty toolbars are automatically removed.<br />

There is a parallel setting in Settings/ Videos/ which also includes Videos in the cloud, as well as Settings/ iTunes & App Store/ where you can set both Music and Video preferences. But you only need to change a setting in one location.

Wild guess: you're using the the wrong export settings. You'll need to tell us more before we can help you - like the export settings you're usng, the size and format of the originals etc.

Why Is My Snapshot Smaller Than The Webcam?

I am trying to make a snapshot of the users webcam, but the snapshot is 1/4 the size of the running webcam and doesn't fill the bitmap data section. Also is there a better way I can Add and position the snapshot.?

OK…I purchased and downloaded Elements 9.0 for my MACs ( I have two in two different locations). I installed on both and the brushes work as expected on one of them but not the other. Guess that is why I asked about a reinstall….possibly something went wrong on this computer when installed.
I am just trying to create an image for a background paper and have selected a brush. I resize it with the bracket key (and have also tried resizing with the slider on the menu up top). I hover the brush over the area I want to place it and then click. The brush is smaller than the hover image every time. Makes it hard to know where to lace my brush for proper placement. As far as the percentage…..that actually is a guesstimate, but it isn't 50% smaller that's for sure.

Why is my "Combined PDF" file size smaller than the original files?

I am trying to combine two individual PDF files into a single PDF. Each file is 32mb, however when I use acrobat to combine them, the newly created "combined" file is only 19mb. I believe I've taken the necessary steps to ensure no degradation is happening (i.e. selecting Large File Size in the options panel), but I am still puzzled as to how two files can be put together as one and be smaller than the two separate files with out any compression. What am I missing?

When you combine a file it does a "Save As" operation. This re-writes all of the PDF object in the single file and is supposed to clean up the file, whereas the single files may have had multiple saves which when you look at the internals of the PDF file simply add on to the end of the file. In other words you get a more cleanly written and optimized file that is also saved for Fast Web View.

In my Macbook Pro finder folder under All Images, there are duplicate files, but one is small and the other is full size. I wanted to clean up the files, but don't know why I have two of everything. Any Ideas?

Nearly all images are JPG with a few GIF and PNG sprinkled in.
I opened the inspector so I do get info when opening each image, but it a slow process.
It seems that one image is around 70k while its twin can be up to 4Mb which is what comes unedited from my camera. Sometimes there will be 3 or 4 identical images in finder, but when I open iPhoto to see what ‘s really in the file, I find only one image, and it’s full sized.
Are all these extra images, even if they are aliases, taking up space on my drive? And should I delete them? The info bar says I have over 10,000 images, which is rather a lot for what I do.
I am unable to add the file size on the view menu as it is grayed out. Don’t know why it’s gray, but having that info on the screen would save a lot of time and fiddling with each image.
I am trying to resize selected pix so I can upload them to e-bay, which requires less than 70k. I have looked at resizing programs but most are for PC platform and not Mac, so I am trying to resize in the finder window under tools. Tedious at best. Any suggestions will be appreciated

I need to force column widths to values smaller than the indesign preset minimuns (1,058mm).

Jongware provided two ideas for forcing a table's rows and columns into heights and widths smaller than the Indesign preset 1.058mm.
For rows: app.selection[0].properties = {autoGrow:false, height:"0.5mm"};
And for columns he sugested: app.selection[0].width = "0.5mm";
The problem is that while the code for rows works perfectly, the one for columns returns an error "Expected Unit, but received 0.5mm" I'm running Indesign cs6. Anyone has any insights to help fixing such script, or maybe some different approach? Thanks!

If the cell's insets are all set to 0, I have no problem with Jongware's code.
But this was InDesign CS5.5.
With CS6 v8.0.2 there will be an error!

Or will fail silently for the setting a value for width , if more than one property, the width, is applied over:

The green button in the "traffic lights" (top left corner of window) will toggle between max size and whatever size you have set it to by dragging the bottom right corner.
Mac 101 is a good place for a beginner - and of course you will get great support in these forums.

If you magnify the image even only slightly with the tool "zoom" the picture comes back clear. In Camera Raw instead is always sharp. I solve the problem by turning off the graphics card in PS but often use plugin that need the graphics card otherwise the processing time is much longer. I ask for help.

I believe what you are seeing is an optical illusion when viewing the screen from the side. Try to align one of the one of the options in Settings, like General, with the navigation bar you'll see it does the same thing.
