Why my screen is too dim to see anything?

As the title, and it seems that all other parts works well. Plus, helped by a external strong light, i tried to turn off the auto-brightness, and it did not work too.
Please help me.

A few months back I Dropped my iPhone 4 and I cracked my screen and now i cant unlock my phone due to touch screen not working plus there are blurred lines across the screen and I can't see anything that it displays.
Now when I try too connect my iPhone 4 to iTunes on my computer at home an error message comes up saying that I have to unlock my iPhone 4 for it to communicate to my device.
But the problem is that I can't unlock my iPhone 4 because I'm unable to see the key pad and my touch screen no longer responds when I touch it.
I just want to reset my iPhone 4 back to its Factory Settings & start all over from the beginning.
How can I unlock my iPhone 4 with iTunes on my computer or any other option you suggest me trying.

If you have had a "local guy "repair your iphone you will not get any support from Apple for warranty OR post warranty
If Verizon return it to Apple it wil not be handled by Apple
If Verizon also use unauthorised repairers you may be lucky
(Apple do not sell parts to local guys or anyone else )

I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
(I'm using windows 7)

Sounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.

The tv is a extended display on your mac like a second moitor you want to mirror them (same thing on both)

Try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears. Ignore the slide to power off screen.

IOS 8 lock screen info too dim

iPhone 5 running iOS 8.0
When playing music, the song info is shown on the lock screen.
The song title and cover art are displayed correctly. However, just below the song title,
the artists name and album title are shown. This info is so dim it can't be read in daylight.
is there any way to brighten this info?

Ipod screen problems - too faint to see but contrast IS up

the contrast on my ipod IS all the way up but it's very very faint to see ... just dark enough to make out the menu basically. any suggestions?

Sarah...I would reset the iPod and then try to change the contrast again. Let me know if this works for you.

Black Screen ....cant see anything but sound and synch works

My iphone 3g just stopped displaying anything. Its around 6 months old. I tried synching it with itunes and it backsup fine. I can hear the click sound when I attach it to itunes aswell.
If I try calling my nos from other phone I can also hear the phone ringing but no display just black screen. Its virtually unusable.
Any one faced a similar issue before? Please help!!

Have you tried restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup and/or restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup?
If no change after either restore option, your iPhone 3G is still under warranty. Unless this was caused by accidental damage or the moisture sensors have been tripped, you would receive an exchange under warranty if this cannot be resolved by any other means. Screen too dark to see - it lights up when I plug it in a charger

my screen is too dark to see - can see SOMETHING in background - but too dim. I can plug into a charger and it gets normal brightness. Sometimes it starts flashing crazily! I am frustrated. This phone is my third or fourth phone (lost track) and all have been manufacturing problems. HELP!

Try double tapping with three fingers and see if that reduces the screen image. If it does, unlock the iPad and go to Settings>General>Accessibility>zoom>Off. If double tapping with three fingers doesn't work, try triple tapping the home button instead.

Kuwait is one of the countries where music, films and TV shows are not available from iTunes, so you won't get those categories in the iTunes store app - if/when they might be available there we won't know until if/when Apple announce something.
Are there other music purchase download sites available in Kuwait ? You can also copy your own CDs via your computer's iTunes and sync them to your phone.

After latest update my iPad (no camera) screen went dark (dim) & blank. At first I could not power off. At some point voice said setup incomplete. In every language. Took someones advise turned off voice over in itunes.. that stopped the voices. itunes identifies and syncs but ipad screen remains blank (dimly lit). Home screen appeared for moment couple of times as well as wifi setup but disappeared as soon as i started to enter info. Hear swipe see nothing! HELP!

Ipad icons too big to see full screen after updating to IOS 8?

I have an IPAD Retina (4th generation) and after I updated to IOS 8, it worked fine for 2 or 3 days. Yesterday my screen went too large to display the full screen (icons are also large). When I open an app, everything is large. I tried changing the font seize but no change. I rebooted my ipad a great number of times, no change. Should it happen again double tap the screen with three fingers. Then go to settings> general> accessibility> zoom> off.

Lock Screen too big to see swipe, so we can't 'open'!

The screen saver is showing - but about 10 times normal size, with the result that we can't see or use the swipe action. We have tried re-booting (holding down start and home buttons, etc) but this does not resolve the problem. Looks like she may have inadvertently increased the screen size and then allowed the iPad to lock. It's my friend's iPad (90-yr old lady who got the it from her grandson) and she can't remember her Apple ID or anything so we haven't been able to contact Apple direct for advice on this. We realise we may have to contact grandson and get him to make trip to Apple store - he lives distance - not sure he has access - yikes! So just in case this is simple to resolve any help would be appreciated.

I Think that Zoom might be turned on.
Double tap the screen with three fingers and see if that returns the screen to normal size. While Zoom is turned on you can drag with three fingers to move around on the screen, but try tap with three fingers and if that reduces the screen, enter the passcode to unlock the iPad and go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom>Off, if you want to turn it off for her.
