I have tree weeks with my new macbook pro and today when i turn on the computer the hole screen looks red , what the heck!

you can and should call AppleCare. You have 90 days of free technical support from Apple trained employees. The forums are for people with no warranty left. It is to be used a a last resort.

The sreen of my T61 turns to red every time I re-boot it. After several seconds, it becomes normal. Does anybody have some ideas about it?

a pink screen is a sure sign that the backlight in your lcd is beginning to fail. Here's some more info at thinkwiki.

Why does my iPhoto red eye reduction tool only give me blue or black blobs in the eyeballs that look completely unacceptable? Automatic mode makes blue blobs that cover iris and even eyelid! Manual mode gives black dots, not at all hte shape of a oerson's iris as seen in a picture.

And again the answer is simply
THere is no fix - that is the way it works - you can post as many times as you want but it will not change the fact that that is the way that iPhoto works

Why does my screen look like it has spots all over when it has not been in or near water?

Has anyone else had this happen? I have had my phone for about a month and today it looks like the phone has water spots all over the screen. It hasn't gotten wet even accidentally from rain or anything. Haven't had any, so I don't know why it would look like this. Is there a way to get rid of this?

I just bought one and it had a sticker on it and it was impossible to remove, so I took it off and now there are spots all over.

Just received a new HPE Desktop made in Mexico. It can in with a junkie looking red "b" key instead of an upper case white "B" key like the rest of the keyboard keys. Did I receive some kind of foriegn keyboard instead of the US version??

Here is the specs for your computer HP Pavilion HPE h8-1360t Product Specifications and Configurable Options the computer does come with beats audio. The lowercase b is just an indication of that and everything else on your keyboard will continue to function as normal.

Why doe the blacks on my screen look so dark?

I have an early 2009 Macbook Pro 17" glossy unibody. When I watch Lost on it, the darker parts of any given scen seem to just crap out, the screen in those areas looks like it's turned off. And it seems that even dim parts are just gone. The rest of the screen looks normal, and non-video looks normal.
When I watch the same file on my ipad, those same dark areas show content, dark, but I can see detail.
Its' as if the LCD screen on the macbook pro simply can't handle a certain level of black. Does anyone have insight into this? Is this common and normal or should I be taking a trip to the genius bar.
Keep in mind, the screen does not feel damaged or anyting, it's just for movies and videos downloaded from itunes, the darker areas, just go completely black... it's really anoying. I try adjusting the tilt on the screen and the brightness. I even made new profiles in the monitors control panel, but no luck.

When you made a new color profile, did you try a different gamma setting? Try 1.8 instead of 2.2. Or something in between. See if that helps.

You can try resetting it, hold down the sleep and home key, past the red slider, and until you see the silver apple and it restarts.
may/may not help. Beyond that, make an appointment at your local apple store because it's possible that the iPad's equivalent of a graphics card has issues. Time for hte pros to take a look.

Can't figure out why green screen is pixelating!

I had terrible problems with square pixelating on my production.
any ideas on what caused this... we played with saturations all day with no effect. I did have a empty green "last frame". It seemed nothing we could do would help!
I filmed with a Sony DCR-SR68 HandyCam in the highest quality and the background I chose from a Free Use source for greenscreen back grounds online.
I hope you can give me some insight here...every tutorial i have watched made green screen in iMovie look very simple... and yet we could not figure out why this pixelation was occurring!
reasons i wondered about:
green screen is too light?
...however i have seen screens look a lot worse and work
something to do with how i am filming?
...i realized that "facial recognition" was turned on which caused the camera shot
to move a little as i moved
am i too close to screen?
...i was about a foot away from screen (but no shadows) and camera was about a yard in front of
me

I know you said you reformatted the drive but just in case, how much free space on the startup disk?
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure you have a minimum of 15% free disk space.
fresh install of 10.4.7
Most recent version for Tiger is v10.4.11. Have you tried updating the software from the Apple menu > Software Update?

Screen turns red

When ever I try to edit some movies I get Red scratches or just giant red flashes(screen turns red) over my film and in some parts it just stops rendering or playing half way through the film.
The files were .MOD, but I rename them to .mpg and they are off of an SD card.
Why is it doing this? It doesn't do this with my videos that are not formerly .MOD.

Well, you answer your own question: MOD is a MPEG derivative not properly supported by AE and/ or your system CoDecs. There's realyl nothing you can do but use other file format conversion tools or wait for CS4.

Have you tried a reset to see if that fixes it ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The red dot usually means it's in video mode and that red dot is a simulation of a normal video camera's red record button. If you are on photo mode you can zoom in by putting 2 fingers on the screen and spreading htem out (just like you'd zoom on a website)
but it's a digital zoom, not an optical zoom...so it's really the same as zooming in on the finished photo. Your image will be lower quality if you zoom in. (the iPad camera is mediocre at best to begin with)

When I turned on my iPad this evening the screen was red. I was using it at lunch time and it was fine. I didn't drop it anywhere from the office to home. Can't figure out why it's red. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Thank you in advance for your help.

try a reset:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
- the ipad will shut down(keept holding) then when you see the Apple logo apear release both buttons
If that does not resolve the issue then best thing to do would be to connect it to your PC/Mac with iTunes to see if it can be recognised and if it can see if you can do a back up then restore to factory settings.
