Why my slideshow don't fit on iPad screen?

I have made an iweb site and the slideshow on iPad is too small. How we can make that fit in iPad screen?
Thanks.

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank. Be patient, the device will power ON again in the normal way. It is app and data safe!]

my apps don't fit to the screen of my iPhone five how do you do it?

It is not an iOS 6 issue. The screen of the iPhone 5 has more pixels tall than other iPhones and the app was not made for that screen size. You will have to wait for the developer to update the app to support the iPhone 5 (and 5G iPod touch) screen size

  • My slideshows don't fill my tv screen any longer

I have PSE 9 and PRE9 and have made several slideshows in the past. I create and edit the slideshows in elements and burn them thru premiere. They all have played in my DVD player with no problems and have all filled the entire television screen. However the last slideshow I did still played in my DVD player but it doesn't fill the entire television screen, it has a black frame around the entire photo.  I don't think I changed any settings from the others, but even when I create a new slideshow using the same photos I've used in other slideshows it no longer fills the screen.  It isn't in my television because it does the same thing in other televisions I've shown them on.  All I want is my slideshows to fill the entire television screen instead of being framed in black.  I only use SONY DVDs.  I've tried changing checking and unchecking boxes for different things but nothing seems to help.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You should find better advice on aspect ratio over on the video forum. Most of us here are photographers.

  • Will a square format image fit into iPad screen and show full horizontal and vertical image?

Can a square format image be used to place in iPad screen and be viewed as either vertical or horizontal without experiencing unwanted cut off?

No it will not, unfortunately. I just tried it.

  • Why my pc don´t charge my ipad air???, why my pc don´t charge my ipad air???

i would like to know if is normal that I can charged my ipad air in my computer

If you mean when you have your iPad plugged into your computer and the screen is on the battery goes down, that's normal. THe USB puts out less power than the iPad is using, so your battery goes down.
Your iPad will trickle charge off the iPad if the screen is off and the computer remains on - not going to sleep. (since when it goes to sleep power is usually cut off to the ports)

  • Smooth_scrolling page fitting on IPad screen

    Hi,
when I produce smooth scrolling page in vertical, the results on mac is ok, on IPad the page is fitting on screen, as you see on picture.
    I use CS6, IPad1
    I create new document:
    -vertical 768x2000
-Folio> New Article > PNG > Scrolling Vertical
    What is my mistake?
    Many thanks!

My mistake was I look  the preview in Folio Overlays, not in Folio Builder.
In Folio Overlays, on I Pad the page in fit on screen, if I open the preview in Folio Builder I can see the page in right way.
    Thanks!

  • Whats size should a word document be to fit the ipad screen perfectly

I am looking at creating a word document i can then save as a pdf to use on an ipad, but whatize should i make the word document so that when i veiw it on an ipad it looks the same as it did on my screen in word?

I use documents to go for my files. I do not have to save them at any specific size. On my iPad, I can pinch to zoom in or out to any size I want. So, I do not see any need to save my files on my computer in a special size to be able to view them on my iPad.

  • Some pictures don't fit ipad screen

Some of my pictures don't fir my ipad screen

When I look in ituns, I see a bunch of apps down at the bottom.
I didn't realize there was an 11 page maximum.  I guess I'll have to group some apps into folders so that all apps can have a spot on the 11 pages.

  • Why do I need to connect my Ipad mini with my Mac Book Pro via iCloud?

Why do I need to connect my Ipad mini with my Mac Book Pro via iCloud? I don't have iCloud on my MacBook Pro and only intend to use the mini to check e-mail and use Garage Band and Photo Booth for song writing when traveling . . .

Thanks Community! I solved the problem. In fact it was not a problem but lack of understanding. These guys at Apple are way ahead in thir thinking. I will try to explain as short as I can.
In Lion, ihe Prefferences/Display show only two choices: 6-7 steps of resolution and some color tab. No two screens, no two display to overlap, nothing for us to do. "That was the problem"! Everything is automatic.
When I connected the HDMI cable to the Miniport into a T-bolt slot, the TV screen showed the "spiral galaxy" how Zyriab is calling it. In fact he gave me the best clue. That shows the connection is good. But where is the Mac Book image?
You have to drag it to the right out of the Mac Book display area, and "voila!" it will continue on the TV screen. The same with the mouse pointer, push it out ofthe Mac Book display area and you see it on the TV sreen. Good image, you can keep the max resolution, etc. The sound is still on the Book's speakers. I have to figure that out.
Thank everybody, especialy Zyriab, ne was the closest.
    High regards to everybody

  • Why more people don't use iWork Revealed

I just upgraded to Lion and am faced with upgraded a number of my computer apps. I have used Office for eons but have Pages and Numbers on my iPhone and iPad but have NEVER thought of iWork with any seriousness. Until today.
In ready about Lion and Mountain Lion (around the corner), I see that IF you have iWork your Pages and Numbers docs can sync seamlessly with your Pages and Numbers apps on your iDevices. Hmmm. I thought. And Office 2011 is $150 for the Home Student version and iWork is $79.  Hmmm...
So I went to <apple.com> and the Store and clicked "Mac Software" only to see this:
And as I scrolled down the page, I can't find iWork anywhere!
It seems it is only listed under "Apple Software"
    Is is not "Mac Software?"
And why would Apple willingly promote Office over iWork? Why put Office in the middle of the top row of apps between Adobe and Filemaker? And as already said, not even list iWork in the Mac Software section at all?
All of a sudden, my enthusiasm for iWork was diminished as I started to wonder: if Apple doesn't have the faith to promote iWorks over Office, maybe iWorks isn't as good as Office and I should heed this and just stick with what I've used for years and not stray.
How could one of the best marketing companies in the world, Apple, not promote it's own same featured software over it's competitor's unless it wasn't as good and Apple didn't want to over state it's software's value?
Apple to my observation, and I say this as a BIG fan wanting the best for Apple, is treating iWork as an adobpted child they don't love much.
Because iWorks syncs with Apple devices and seems to have great functions, it would seem that Apple marketing should hike to the mountain top and trumpet it's existence as loud as possible! But Apple is not. iWork is a best kept secret. Why? I don't have the foggiest. But Apple needs to wake up, unless it's a political thing and Apple has told Bill it wouldn't step on his shoes and over promote iWork.
I would almost bet my last dime, there's some politics going on here. Why else would Apple hold back? They don't on anything else. Strange indeed.
I'm still considering buying iWork instead of Office 2011. But the wind has diminished in my sails thanks to Apple's lack of enthusiasm.
    Fix this Apple.

Your points are well taken Tom. I realize that if I abandon Office, since the world seems to turn on Office, that I would have to save my work as both an iWork doc and then an Office doc if I need to send it to someone that needs to edit it. Otherwise, I would send it as a PDF which is still double work to some extent.
But regarding preaching to the converted, I don't know. I think there are a lot of folks that don't know about iWorks and being that Apple keeps it a bit of a secret, this was the reason I created this thread.
But I absolutely copied the text and then sent it to the Feedback link found in the bottom right of each page instead "Contact Us" as I always do when I have a point I want to convey to Apple.
But I'm really considering going with iWork over Office since iWork can save as Office docs. And with that being so, being able to sync iWork docs to my iPhone and iPad seems kind of new and cool. Granted I'm not about to do any heavy work on an iWork doc via my iPhone. But I could read one from my iPhone. And I "could" actually edit an iWork doc on my iPad even though virtual keyboards are a tad tough to work on versus a physical keyboard.

I want to play music from my playlist when I am using slideshow of my pictures in Ipad,  but I can only choose ONE SINGLE song, and it continuously repeates itself.  Is there a way to play the complete playlist while showing my pictures?

You can start the playlist playing in the iPod app and then switch into the Photos app and start your (non-music) slideshow - as you've found out you can currently only select a single track in the Photos app. Whether that will change in iOS 5 I don't know, but you could try leaving feedback for Apple : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

  • Why can't I print from my ipad?

I've had my iPad for almost a year now and I like it a lot. It looks very good, it performs very well even though I'm far from reaching my goal of only taking my ipad to school, nothing else.
One important reason why this won't be the case for quite a while still is that I can't print from the iPad.
Let me explain. I make quite a number of worksheets. Being a teacher this is one of the things you do so that the students have something to write on and do exercises. Over the years there have been many of these and my initial thought was to put them all on the iPad and print them when needed. But imagine my surprise when I found out that printing from an iPad seems to be near impossible.
Other colleagues of mine got themselves cheap EEPCs and they work fine. They can access the local printer easily printing whatever they wish. But I can't do that! Unless my school buys a new Air-thingy printer from HP I just won't print there! And that just *****.
I've bought a sleek and expensive machine that is so sophisticated - that I can't use it the way I want to. And that isn't even ******** about the file system that seems to be equally messed up.
My question is, why can't I print from the iPad? Printing had been announced many times before the launch of iOS 4 and then, all of a sudden, nothing more. How can this be? Why do I have to buy additional software - which is not really cheap and far from certain to work at all - just to be able to print a few pages?
Please help me understand this, as I see it, major flaw of the iPad and iOS 5.

    Thanks guys,
I seem to have understood by now.
    To sum it up:
    - I can print with the iPad directly if the printer is Airprint compatible.
    - I can print via a number of more or less working apps.
I've downloaded some HP software for my iPad and even seem to be able to access it from some other apps, that is except Apples Pages app. Sigh! So whenever I have to make changes in my documents, I still can't print.
GoodReader on the other hand lets me send my documents to the HP app, but the app/HP won't let me print microsoft docs unless I register and send my documents over to HP where the printing prep is being made, then they send it back to me/my printer. Anyway GoodReader blows my layout apart, so I must change it on the iPad, but when I do …
    It's a big catch.
You must realize that printing really isn't that comfortable and that as a spoiled old Mac user I might be excused for wishing something more workable.
The truth seems to be that I've got to carry all those docs on a USB-stick, move them over to the Windows-machine at our school and print from there - which is what I do on a daily basis already.
All those workarounds that may or may not work (check out user comments on those printing apps!) are so annoying that my overall question remains pretty much the same.
But I could also rephrase the question: Why can't I print from the so-called best tablet office app even if I am equipped with all the apps I apparently need?
Please understand that this is not Apple-bashing in any way. This is a real problem for me in my everyday life. I won't be persuading my school to buy AirPrint printers just because of my little problem and I honestly don't want to spend more money on printing apps that seem never to even have gone through beta testing.
Still, thanks for you efforts. I guess I'll just have to wait for Microsoft Office for iPad to get that big problem solved.

  • Why does an email sent from an iPad or iPhone to ms outlook appear with attachments? Example signatures tend to be broken down into a series of unwanted attachments!

Why does an email sent from an iPad or iPhone to ms outlook appear with attachments? Example: signatures at the bottom of the mail tend to be broken down into a series of unwanted attachments!

It worked for me. I took a picture with the iPhone's camera. Then opened the Photos app and selected the picture, and emailed it from one of my IMAP accounts to my gmail (also IMAP) account. When it showed up in the gmail inbox (on my iPhone), I forwarded it to my yahoo mail account (choosing the "inlcude attachments" option). When that showed up on my iPhone's yahoo inbox, the picture was there just as it should be.
So I guess the next thing would be to try it with non-iPhone pictures to see if it is a problem with image size or something. I have some 6-megapixel images in iPhoto I can try (taken as RAW/DEC format pictures with my dSLR).
Just tried it sending a Photo from my computer's iPhoto library - picture is 728KB, 2272x1704 jpeg. I emailed it to my gmail account, and it showed up on the iPhone just fine. Then I forwarded that to my yahoo account and again, it showed up just fine on both the iPhone and reading my yahoo mail via the web page.
Don't know what to say - I don't mean this to be just another "works for me" post. I was hoping to see something maybe depending on the size and origin of the picture.
By the way, my 3GS shipped with 3.0.1 on it, and I've updated it via iTunes normally to 3.1.1 and currently 3.1.2. Sorry I don't have anything constructive to add.
