Why my weather widget suddenly doesn't works?

My weather widget working fine before yesterday but suddenly doesn't works when i choose in these locations singapore, malaysia and taiwan... what's wrong with it?

Close this. My IPod now works. Yes, if you must know, it was something stupid that I had overlooked. I still wonder what that "double horse shoe" symbol means, though. It wasn't pointing to my stupid mistake, that I do know

I understand from a support note that if I keep trying my password/username combination, my BB will eventually delete all data!
I can't understand this. I'm completely lost now. I can't remember what I've done or tried to do. A plethora of usernames and passwords is swimming in my head.

But the real question is why for the past year did the passwords work and then all of the sudden after this anomaly the disk password doesn't work? I'm not 100% sure of what my configuration was, but I know that most of the time it required one password -- supervisor, and occasionally it asked for 2 -- disk password as well I believe. This may have been related to the Password on Restart setting I think -- asking for the disk password on cold vs. warm boot. But I know both were exactly the same. But after this incident only the Supervisor password worked.

Why do you ask? Do you think you were fired and don't know it yet?
No, they can't just 'turn it off'. They can not control whether it will power on or not.
Since it's a corporate device. Take it in and have your help desk/IT department look at it.

My weather channel app doesn't work and freezes my phone. I've tried closing the app. Also tried deleting and readding it. All my other apps work.

Try this:
Make sure your iPhone is fully updated.
Restart your iPhone
Do NOT open the app, just delete it
Reset your iPhone (hold down sleep/wake and home buttons simultaneously until you see an apple logo, then release the buttons)
Readd the app
Open the app and test.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, then it may be an issue with the app itself and you might have to contact the app's developer.

IChat video suddenly doesn't work...

My fiancee and I have been using iChat for the last few years - the video and audio have always worked fine. She is in the USA and I'm in England until we get married in November. Last night, when I got home from work, it suddenly doesn't work. I'm on a MacBook running 10.4.11 and use AIM on iChat and she is on AIM on a Windows Vista laptop. She tries, I try it, it just doesn't start.

I have a different Error code in my Log.
You have Error 8
This is a bit of general coverall error code.
It means that it cannot make a Connection (it has excluded other items such as Internet Speed (Error 22) and issues over routing (error 7) and a "missing" camera)
One cause is when you set up Port Forwarding in your router for iChat and then the computer's IP Changes
This means the router is "pointing" the ports to one IP and the computer has another.
You have the three titles in ther Log (which I have now spaced out)
Normally there is more info in these sections.
The rest of the Log is not useful at this stage (I can't see that it mentions any iChat add-on)
Check the IP in use in System Preference > Network.
Compare this with any IP that is listed for Port Forwarding in the router.
Ideally the router should be using UPnP to open the ports (it lets your do Screen Sharing in iChat)
The router should not be doing Ping Blocking or have any DoS or SPI Security Filters

After making a few minor changes late yesterday, the hero orbit slider suddenly doesn't work. All changes made were rolled back to working version, yet the hero still doesn't work.
I have recopied all the page code from the uguru-interior-design template into the scholzandbarclay site, which also did not work. All other code, scripts, styles have been checked. Can't find anything. However, when the pages render there is a difference (see screen captures)
in this one, the ul has no orbit
in this one, the script has added the orbit code.
Again, all scripts, code, styles have been checked.
What am I missing?

What just happened? HD password suddenly doesn't work...

Alright this is a tricky one. W520 w/ Intel SSD.
I've got a Supervisor (SPV) password set for my BIOS as well as a HD password set.
I don't think I had a Power-on password set but I'm not sure.
No problems, my password has always worked.
I'm working and I have my laptop plugged into my LAN via Ethernet and I shut down. I always use wireless but was working with my router settings so had it plugged in via Ethernet this time.
When I start up, it started trying to boot from LAN, I see the Intel Boot manager start up (screen saying Press Ctrl + S to change options), and of course there is nothing on my LAN to PXE boot from so it proceeds after failing.
Then it asks for my Supervisor password, I enter it, works, asks for my HD password, I enter it, doesn't work. I try again, doesn't work. Try a third time, locks me out. I restart the machine.
The next time it asks for my HD password first rather than my Supervisor password, which doesn't work again. I reboot again.
Third time through this charade and for some reason the HD password works now but only to get me into the BIOS -- meaning I've pressed F1 and it asks for my password and lets me into the BIOS settings.
From here I try to remove the User password on the hard drive but it does not accept the password -- the same password I just entered and it accepted.
Now I'm not fat fingering or anything, the password is simple and I'm making sure I'm typing it in exactly correct.
So somehow powering off and powering on with my Ethernet cable connected has majorly screwed up my passwords in the BIOS. I think it was set to re-order boot devices if Wake-on-LAN was enabled or something, but something in that process must have screwed up my BIOS config. I don't know what to do. I don't understand what the heck is happening here. Password works then all of a sudden doesn't?

But the real question is why for the past year did the passwords work and then all of the sudden after this anomaly the disk password doesn't work? I'm not 100% sure of what my configuration was, but I know that most of the time it required one password -- supervisor, and occasionally it asked for 2 -- disk password as well I believe. This may have been related to the Password on Restart setting I think -- asking for the disk password on cold vs. warm boot. But I know both were exactly the same. But after this incident only the Supervisor password worked.

Mail suddenly doesn't work

I have a hotmail.com email adress. It always worked great with Mail. But suddenly I can't receive any mail.
I've already deleted my account and made a new one. Also I've made a gmail account. But it still doesn't work.
With gmail I've got one mail send and one received. But the next time I opened Mail they were both gone, and Mail didn't worked also.

All of a sudden the other day I could no longer import emails from the Comcast server to my mail program on my computer (10.5.4, macbook pro) but those emails DO exist on the Comcast server.
I still receive emails from my business address through my web site, but NOTHING comes in from Comcast.
I called Comcast and they tried to help me reset my Mail Preferences - but that didn't help. The person at Comcast told me there are problems since an Apple update of the software, and they have no solution for it.
Is this true? When will it be fixed? How can I make it work???

Why custom logon error messages doesn't work in WAS 7.0, EP 7.0?

I managed to get custom error messages in WAS 6.40 / EP 6.0.
I'm using JAAS custom Login module for user authentication and from there different Login Exceptions are thrown.
I have modified logon.par file to display different error messages like "Logon ID is empty", "Password is empty", "Your user ID or password could not be validated. Please check and try again."
When i copy the same code into my working environment i.e WAS 7.0 / EP 7.0, it doesn't work, message always was "User Authentication Failed". Do anyone knows the reason why i was like that?
Can you please explain exactly when the custom login module gets executed after the user clicks on "Logon" Button.
In logon.par file i have not seen any code to execute JAAS - custom logon module. PLease explain exact execution flow ..

Your card reader might be finicky like mine. Figure out which device your card reader is at (from what I'm reading probably sdb), then attempt to mount /dev/sdb to any location. If your card reader is like mine, this mount will fail but you'll find you now magically have /dev/sdb1, /dev/sdb2, etc devices, which will successfully mount... oddness, but it "just works" so I'm happy
Note that if you plug a card into a slot that is to the kernel, for example, /dev/sda2, then try to mount /dev/sda1, this will (obviously) fail, so be sure to try mounting all the devices that magically appear (if any do).

Icloud password suddenly doesn't work on my mac

My apple user name and password haven't been changed at all for a long time. I have used it to access icloud and the itunes and everything.
But suddenly the password doesn't work 'on my mac.'
However it still works fine when I access icloud.com from my same computer.
But when I try to "manage my account" from system preferences (icloud), it doesn't work.
And also, when I access the itunes store from my same computer it doesn't work.
There are no error messages-- when I type in the password and press return it just reverts to the same page in which the password field is empty.
OSX 10.9.4
