Why no Theme/Design application?

Why is there no App to change the design of the dock and icons of the iphone interface? <Edited by Host>
Is an application like this forbidden for the AppStore? That would suck, because to me the native Dock design doesn't look that nice, and default icons are too colorful.
Please give us official themeability! (Or am I missing something?)

Anyhow - am I the only one who's missing this functionality to customize the design? Every OS has this, the iphone OS apparently could do so as well, and I would pay for such an AppStore-App. I'm just curious if I'm really alone in this matter or if there is a public demand.

Fiori Theme Designer: Target Content not saved

Hello,
I have created a theme based on the blue crystal theme. At first I entered the link to the application (URL to launchpad) and add the name of the application (eg "Launchpad").
Now I press the "Add" button and a new entry is created as shown in the following screenshot:
Next I do some customization and save + build my changes. If I now access my launchpad, the changes were applied.
When I close the browser with the theme designer or just go back to the theme overview and load again my custom theme, the previously added target application ("Launchpad") is not more there (if I again add the link to my launchpad and give a name I can see, that all adaptions are loaded correctly in the preview mode, so in genereal, the changes are stored correctly, but my application target "Launchpad" not.)
Is there a way to restore the prev. set target?

Hi Patrick,
It has been a few months since I worked with Theme Designer, but the application targets never were saved, nor do I think they are meant to be saved. Since I suspect themes to be only infrequently modified for a specific application, I don't see much of a rationale for saving those links.

Fiori launchpad also work on http and https.
Fiori UI Theme Designer also work perfectly on http ...
But if we open on https, we found 500 Internal Server Error after input user ID and Password ...

All problem resolved now.
I just turn off http service via tcode SMICM (just leave only https service) and restart application.
Now I can create custom theme via UI Theme Designer using https protocol.

Sounds like Firefox is "hanging at exit". That problem is frequently caused by an Extension or a Plugin. Read all of the following articles.<br /><br />

I use my iMac for Photoshop and Illustrator all the time, and the 20" monitor is PERFECT!
My only beef with it is the color setting, I changed mine to Adobe RGB 1998, because the default 'iMac color' setting is way too...bright/faded looking.

Theme Designer - source image location

     I'm working on a NW740 upgrade project, and have run into what is probably a theme designer 101 problem with creating a user theme based on the sap_goldreflection theme for ABAP WD. Previously when I've worked on portal theming I have been able to use the SAP standard images by accessing the theme download zip file, in NW740 theme designer the images used must be on the NW740 server, but how do I access them?
     Another issue I have is identifying the relevant CSS parameter ID for changing in the expert tab. I have completed about 80% of the changes that are required, but have some changes to make where the parameter isn't obvious. Is there any freeware available to give the CSS Parameter for an element under the pointer? (it would be nice if this was in-built in the theme designer, or am I missing something obvious)

Thanks for your reply, not sure if I'm missing something that's really simple. Importing a new image into the theme designer is easy. But if I want to change the colour of say the radio buttons, because the standard colours go against corporate branding, in the past I would have gone to the image in the Portal theme export .zip files, change the colours and then import this updated image. I want to keep the same shape and size of image as the remaining unchanged radio buttons, I'm from an ABAP/functional/portal admin background rather than a graphics background, so looking to not have to design the images from scratch.

Oracle OLAP Desktop-like cube designer application

I am looking for any kind of Desktop-like cube designer application offered from Oracle. Using drap and drop, the end user can design cube without any programming knowledge (for example, no XML programming knowledge). I have tried an open source OLAP application called Pentaho Mondrian which has a GUI based Java application called Cube Designer. I have tried that application to design a basic cube for our business, but the problem is that it requires a lot of XML programming knowledge. Is there such a Desktop-like cube designer available from Oracle?

Thanks for your information. By looking at Oracle OTN, I found several interesting products - Discoverer, Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) and Analytic Workspace Manager (AWM). There is a tutorial for how to create multi-dimentional cube using AWM on OTN. What are differences among those products? You mentioned OWB is a general-purpose ETL tool with creating cubes capability. Is OWB required for AWM to work? Should the data be stored as Star or Snowflake schema in the database using OWB tool so that the AWM can create cube based on the Star or Snowflake schema data? I am confused about the relationship among those tools.

Since OWB 10.2 there is only one Repository storing Design and Runtime-Components.

Merging Designer Applications

Does anyone know how to effortlessly merge two applications together? The aim is to take all the elements in application A and insert them into application B. A and B contain common elements, there is currently no sharing between A and B. If the element exists in B then it should not be overwritten, but any references to it should ne maintained.
I have tried:
1)Check-in/check-out - the 2.1.2 version is next to useless now it uses these 'working' applications.
2)Copy - falls over at the first element with a common name.
3)Unload/Load with Update - falls over for numerous reasons (links missing, internal errors, duplicates.....).
