Why not have options of downloading older versions

Here is a link on your site: http://www.adobe.com/products/studio/index.html. I post it for two reasons, one being that the link is for a product that Adobe no longer sells. The other reason is that I can't see why Adobe doesn't offer the opportunity to purchase older versions of their software. I have an admittedly older computer (2000 Mac) that continues to serve me well. I would like to be able to buy a newer version of Adobe software than what I have, but because Adobe doesn't offer this option on their site, my only other option is buying used or possibly counterfeit software from Ebay. I have put off buying a newer version of software for the same reason that most people do: I can't afford it. I don't have 2 grand for CS4 and my computer can't run it anyway, but it can run CS2 or possibly CS3. So wouldn't it be better for Adobe to keep offering products for older computers?
Laugh if you want about my old machine, but I have used PCs and Macs professionally over the years as a web designer. I will take my old Mac any day. In the time I've owned it I probably haven't turned it off more than 50 times, have never had a virus (I don't even have virus protection) and have never had a disk crash. I believe that there are other people out besides myself who have older computers that would also benefit from the ability to purchase older versions of software.

Thanks for the response. This is not the package I'm looking for. What I really need is either the Studio 8 upgrade (or complete) or the rare Adobe CS2 Premium Web Bundle, which was a combination of Adobe and Macromedia products from around the time that Adobe took over MM :' (
The packaging for this looked like an Adobe product on the top half and a MM product on the bottom half and contained pretty much every app worth having at the time it was issued.
I agree that is would be costly and counterproductive for Adobe to carry and support older products but at the same time I've never used Adobe support for anything. I spent over a half-hour just trying to get someone on the SALES line which you would normally expect someone to answer promptly. And we all know how beneficial robohelp is. I would still rather buy this product from Adobe even if it was without customer support. The best support these days comes from forum contributors anyway...

I have experienced these many times that newer application does not work and we have to wait for bug fix release and we do not have choice to come back on older version.
Benefits of this provision
1. User can download stable version if one found some critical bug.
2. Reduce Older iOS compatibility issues.
3. Reduce Older iPhone compatibility issues.
It hurts when we purchase apps and these do not work for any problem. Apple Inc. should co-ordinate to developers and make provisions for downword compatibility and choice to have any version of application.

Hi...Why do I not have options to download Première Pro, AE etc. on my second PC?

I have Premiere Pro and AE on my home laptop, I need to download it on my second PC, but on this second PC when I downloaded the Creative Cloud download app on the desktop, it ddid not show any option to download Premiere Pro and AE etc !!! I could download Audition CS6 and Photoshop CC etc. !!! Please see the pic, there is no option for Premiere Pro or AE.

I have removed all iphoto files and avatars as one person has suggested. I am suppose to reinstall iPhoto using the discs that came with the computer.
I am not sure what to do with any options that might be provided. Any help will be appreciated.

I would suggest restarting the iPad and see if the download resumes.

To more easily find compatible apps:

Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

In a OS Extended (HFS) file system there is no way you can have two files with identical names in the same directory.
Of course who knows what spotlight is thinking of most of the time when it does its stupid searches (get Find any File instead) and lists its results? Are you sure it is listing the same directory or do you have a backup and it is finding it there and you aren't noticing it is two different volumes?
You could also try reindixing the volume. Add it to the Spotlight system preferences Privacy and then remove it.

I inherited this app and signing the third party jars is how it was setup, I was wondering the same thing too, why was it necessary to sign the third party jars?
The applet runs in either JRE 1.6.0_13 or JRE 1.6.0_27 depending on the other Java apps the user uses. JRE 1.6.0_13 does not have the mixed code security (so it is like is disable), but JRE 1.6.0_27 does have the mixed code security and the applet will not launch with mixed code security enable, so we have to disable it. With all the hacking going on in the last two years, is important to improve security; so this is a must.

Downloaded older version and newer version of what. Any attempts to downgrade iOS are not allowed. Also, using iTunes with the latest iOS and iTunes requires the latest version.
I suggest that you remove and reinstall iTunes using this support document. You need to follow the steps exactly or you will just create more problems, which I think you already have. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
