Why not unify all drivers?

I know the question is stupid, but why don't unify all models of sound cards in a single package drivers ?
I believe that would facilitate for the company and for users since we could only get a single model Drive and the installation recognize the type of card and install the necessary software while keeping the core drive updated.
But why not?

But drivers contains API dll`s for patented/licensed technologies, thus are subject for regulations. Software is restricted even more - my Titanium HD package (with noted on the box PowerDVD featured) had no disk with PowerDVD - i must install tons of bloatware from DVD, after this a special utility connects to Cyberlink site, verify my hardware and download a special build. Creative is really a minor partner for IP holders for many years, so holders can dictate whatever conditions they want.

Webpage Not Available All Drivers

Hi all,
Right now I'm trying to fix an issue with my volume mixer not responding whenever I plug in headphones. I had this problem before I reimaged and it helped to just get the most recent Conexant Audio driver. I'm still on Win7 x64 but I can't download any drivers at all from the support website here. When I hit download I can't seem to connect to whatever URL the link is to. I'm on my campus' network here, hardwired in so maybe that has something to do with it, I was just wondering if theres something going on with the download site. If anyone has a safe third party link with a working driver installer I would appreciate it. The one I downloaded from Softpedia (UIU32a.exe with accompanying files) does not run.

Why not keep all threads?

I have just noticed that the oldest thread in the Archives of this forum is not yet a year old. Considering that PageMaker is a dead program, wouldn't it be wiser to keep all existing threads for as long as this forum exists? I don't think 200 threads would take too much disk space...

Why not put all VMs and replicas in the same default folder?

By default, VMs are stored in \hyper-v\vm and replicas are stored in \hyper-v\replica\. So, when you failover, your new mission-critical VM is located in the replica folder. This is confusing and
its a pain to move the replica back to the default hyper-v\vm folder.
Comments and suggestions welcomed.

It's your system. Do whatever you want to do.
But Replica is meant for DR. Most people wouldn't consider running out of the DR facility to be a permanent situation. I suspect they'd rather know at a glance whether or not they're dealing with an original or a replica.

Rollup errors - why not aggregate all rule violations into one record.

Hi there
We are using data rules on a target table and for each incoming row which violates a data rule a separate record is written to the error table. we have set the rollup errors to Yes. I would have thought this would have been sufficient but have read another post which talks about mapping from this error table into another custom error table. We could do this but I'm concerned about having two error tables instead of just the one.
Any ideas/advice?

If u believe what ever error table that u are using meets ur requirement for tracing the data then u donot need to maintain a separate error table as it would eat up on ur table spaces and also u have to take into consideration the maintenance cost for the same.
If u want a centralized view of all error tables in a single table then it would be a good idea to do it.

Any help on why not seeing all these "0TCT" process variants in RSOR?

I am following some instructions on installing BW Statistics for BI7, but I am stuck at a point:
1.
In RSOR, Object Types, Process Chain, I am supposed to select all Process Variants that begin with 0TCT
The only one I found is 0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01 Content Master Data
what could be wrong? Am I at the right location?
2.
Later I tried, RSOR, Object Types, Process Variants, looking for all Process Variants that begin with 0TCT
Here this is what I found:
0TCT_C01_AGGRE_INIT_LOAD
0TCT_C21_AGGRE_INIT_LOAD
0TCT_C22_AGGRE_DELTA_LOAD
0TCT_C22_AGGRE_INIT_LOAD
0TCT_C23_AGGRE_INIT_LOAD
But in the instruction, there is a long list of these 0TCT process variants.
what could be wrong? Am I doing something wrong?
3. What is the best way to collect all those process variants with 0TCT?
I was looking for a way to search for all 0TCT for selection, any hints?

Not showing all equipment order in zreport ( SAP-PM)

I am working monthly perfomance report related of SAP -PM. which that show data of equipment order wise. these order is create plant wise.
i am fetching data through plant code and order final date .

t001w-werks OBLIGATORY,
p_spmon TYPE s115-spmon OBLIGATORY,
in this program i am using tables AUFK, AFIH, and EQUZ.
My problem is that this report is not showing all data for only one plant. becoz only two line item show in Table EQUZ according order date and plant. and in table AFIH showing 10 line time. whenas 63 order has been created in that date .
so, i want know that where is problen either my program or standard table EQUZ
Plz guide me ......................

when as 63 orders has been created between 01.03.2011 to 31.03.2011 which are showing in table AUFK and AFIH.

I bought Hp 15 g207ax, 2 out of 3 usb not working, and all drivers missing, no ethernet or no wifi

i bought a new Hp 15 G207AX.
issue 1 - 2 out of 3 usb not working, 1 usb 3.0 and 1 usb2.0 not working. 1 usb 2.0 is working properly
question 1- is it because of faulty laptop or driver issue? also, if it is driver issue, then why 1 usb 2.0 is working?
issue 2 - All Drivers are missing.

looking for your immediate reply. as if in 1st question, if usb ports are defective and laptop is faulty, i will ask for a replacement or refund.

Likely all of these issues would be fixed with the chipset driver.

No downloadable windows drivers for Magic Mouse? Why not?

My question is simple: Why doesn't Apple provide an easily downloadable Windows driver installer for the Magic Mouse?
Apple has nothing to loose - the user would still have to purchase their Magic Mouse, and they might even gain some sales of the device from Windows users who prefer it. Further, they already have a driver installer packaged and ready to go in the Boot Camp driver Bins (Binary.MultiTouchMouse_Bin) but to get it you have to download the ENTIRE Boot Camp archive, unzip it, extract the _Bin file in question, and rename it adding .exe to the end so Windows can run it.
Other hardware manufacturers (including Microsoft) provide easily downloadable drivers for their products on multiple platforms, it would be nice to see the same courtesy extended by Apple.

This is not a problem with the headset but a bluetooth issue in windows, the default microsft bluetooth driver does not support all profiles, you need to make sure you install the proper drivers for your bluetooth chip.
When the proper bluetooth drivers are installed you will be able to pair it properly and then go into settings and select the headset profile.
I also had to change the default speakers to the headset under the windows sound settings.
If you have a laptop the bluetooth drivers is probably on the manufacturers website, if you purchased a bluetooth usb dongle then you probably received a cd with it.

Most others will not be having such problems. We are now able to say that with confidence because after developers missed a regression in Firefox 4 telemetry was introduced so that data was obtained. It may be an idea to turn on your telemetry, if you have not already done so, and decide to stick with Firefox.

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. I am having the same problem. Did turning off iCloud work? Did you just turn everything off or did you actually delete the account off your iPod?

I have the same problem transfering Address book on iMac to contacts on iPhone (old version 3G - on iCloud). this is a hard wired connection

Might you have 200 entries in On My Mac groups and some of your appointments in On My Mac calendars?
