Why notebook be not charging always?

The battery is not charging for days.All configration are deafult while restart.why？

The battery begins charging when it's at 94% or less.

    It sounds to me like the charger that came with the iPhone 5 is defective, or the cable is if you've been switching the cables when you switch the chargers.

    Battery information is found in SYSTEM PROFILER>HARDWARE>POWER.
    Sometimes the power adapter does not show the light but is still functioning.  (that often the case with mine)  If on the menu bar the icon shows that it is charging, your ok.  If not, I jiggle the connector or snap it and that restores the connection.  If neither works, make certain the the connectors are clean, both on the adapter and the MBP.  Check to see if any of the posts are bent or missing. 
    If still no success, try another adapter if available.  If that does not work, the are issues with the MBP.  If it does, a new will be the answer.

    Because most USB ports do not put out enough power to meet the iPad's minimum requirements. An iPad is best charged plugged into the wall with the supplied charger.

    Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
    I was experiencing a similar issue where the battery percentage was not updating on my device unless I reset or rebooted the device and it would not acknowledge being plugged in.  The only thing that resolved for me was a restore as new.

    I have read your post on how your notebook computer is not able to keep a charge, and I would be happy to assist you!
    To test and synchronize the battery to your computer, I recommend following this document onTesting and Calibrating the Battery (Windows 8). This should help maintain a charge on your notebook's battery.
    Additionally, I also suggest following the steps below re-install the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery:
    Step 1. Go to Device Manager
    Step 2. Select Batteries
    Step 3. Right click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there
    Step 4. Click Uninstall
    Step 5. At the prompt put a check in the box to remove the current driver
    Step 6. Shutdown the computer
    Step 7: Remove the battery for minute and then put it back in
    When the computer comes back up it should automatically find the driver.
    Step 8. Go to Device Manager
    Step 9. Select Batteries
    Step 10. Right click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" that is listed there
    Step 11. Click "Search automatically for updated driver software"

    MacBook Pro would not turn on, replaced battery. Worked upon installation, tried to recharged battery. Computer won't turn on. Charged light on power cord is on, but computer won't turn on.

    No use posting the same message four times or more. If you're MBP is not charging and you've already replaced the battery, then it's time for a trip to your local Apple Store or AASP.

  • Can't find model # on my Pavilion notebook...need to find out why battery does not charge

    My little touch screen Pavilion is giving me the error that the main battery is no good after only  bit more than a year of use.   I want to look into recalls, etc, but I don't see any model # on the body of the unit.
    The bottom just has the "registered trademark" and "HP Protectsmart" and the keyboard area just say "Pavilion."
    Any help on this?

    Hi,
    You can often display the Model No, Serial No. etc if you hold down the fn key and press esc.
    If that doesn't work, you can also locate this info from the bios menu as follows.
    Shut down the notebook. 
    Tap away at the esc key as soon as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu, then select f10 to enter the Bios Menu.  The information you need will be located under the 1st tab

    was your AC adapter used at the Apple store to demonstrate that your MacBook Pro was charging, or was a different AC adapter used? That is, could the problem be with your AC adapter?

    Because charging the battery cause the battery to get warms/hot. A case insulates the iPod so it dissipates heat slower so the iPod/battery will get hotter during charging. A higher temperature permanently degrades the battery faster.

    Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W).     I am running windows 2K on a Dell computer.
    WhenI first connect my nano to the computer it begins to charge(lightning bolt in the battery icon).This only lasts for three or four minutes then the charging stops(just a battery icon).
    I have read in another thread if you either enable or disable disc mode it will fix the problem.Can anyone verify this?
    And if so how do you go about doing this?

    Enabling/disabling disk mode won't affect whether your iPod charges or not. I suspect this is more to do with your computers connection. Are you using a high powered usb connection? Have you tried connecting to other ports?
