Why ODS in this example

Hello Gurus
I have a doubt which is not clear for me completely.
I know ODS is used for detailed reports and etc but why ODS is used if the datasource can handle deltas.
Please explain me with example I will understand totally.

Apart from what our friends said in the above posts, today BW is not simply a data warehouse but has become an EDW(Enterprise Datawarehouse). The basic concept in EDW is to bring all data to BW into EDW level and then move the required data to next level needed for analysis. To suffice this EDW layer ODS is used to store data. Even if the datasource supports delta, the data is kept for safe in BW to encounter various situations antcipated.

I make a database in my sql and I use ODBC as interface.
in labview, ADO blocks are used to connect with mysql as example attached. but, when I run this program, it dosn't work. this example is along with ADO pack.
By the way,, it dosnt get me any ID!
do you know what is the problem?

UDL is very basic and best way to communicate to DB. becasue here you can change the database which you need to connect to any time. I havent seen your VI but first you need to create UDL file and configure it as per your application. For there if you can test the connection that means your configuration is ok.
Then from VI you need to open the UDL file and check the error message. From there you can easily check what is the problem.
Here start from page 3-4. Let us know if any issue

Why does NI CAN Example use NI CVI?

Hello,
when you buy a NI CAN Case (e.g. USB<->CAN: NI USB 8473) and install the drivers, the examples are also installed.
When you open the example
C:\Programme\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\examples\nican\Frame - Basic.llb
you will see that the CAN is
1. configured
2. opened
3. Attributes are read
But what is strange: for reading the attributes the Function "ncGetAttr" from nicvi.dll is used.
??? WHY ???
nican.dll has also a function named ncGetAttr. Why not use this function?
I have noticed it because I am writing a C# wrapper for NI CAN for my task.

In other words I want to run

My problem is to undestand why I got a syntax error about parenthesis.Because you cannot perform arithmatic operation with a value coming from a subquery in a SET clause of UPDATE

When you hooked up to your PC did they attempt to import? Had you imported them previously and not deleted when the import was complete?
If you have to delete them directly on your device, you need to press the select button and just keep selecting until you have all of them selected, then put them in the trash.
You do not need to select one then trash it, then select another then trash it. You can select as many as you like before clicking on the trash icon.

Unfortunately, that's the way the cookie crumbles nowadays. Sir Jony Ive's GUI design for iOS7 has been met with much skepticism (to say the least). But until the company sees the compelling need for an adjustment or reversal, it "ain't happenin' ". So amble over to the feedback page ( http://www.apple.com/feedback/ ) and make your displeasure known to the company, OR make it known by not purchasing its products. Because as long as the iGadgets continue selling as fast as they can make them, they will see no need for change.
BTW, do note you are NOT talking to Apple here. This is just a user-to-user forum.
Edit: for now, you can also try out any of the alternate calendaring apps available in the App Store.

An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

I am an abapper.Recently i have a requirement to work on a cenvat report.So i am set forth to know what is
cenvat first and i am more confused.
I take this example here
Manufacturer ---> Purchase raw material -> Make finsih product -> Sale to customer.
Say i am Manufacturer A,i buy three materials
                 Purchased from
Cotton    - Vendor A
Dye        - Vendor B
Plastic    - Vendor C
                        Value              Basic Excise Duty Payed
Cotton               100                          8
Dye                     50                          4
Plastic                 25                          2
Now what i understand is that i can claim Rs ( 8 + 4 + 2) from govt.
Is it that excise duty you pay is claimed by govt ??.Am i thinking correctly.

After consulting all the forums, I see that Apple is not answering this simple question: so disrespectful!
Please do something about it! All it takes is to write a little code: in the "Advanced Preferences (advanced????) give us an option that just asks you IF you want to create a replacement iTunes library before doing it! is this hard for you Mac guys????? What you're doing is using days after the if statement; without curly braces only a valid statement is allowed.
But if you add curly braces, days will be available only in the if block.
