Why PhotoBooth can't get the background images to work properly on the picture

Why PhotoBooth can get the background images to work properly on the picture, is it because too much luminosity in the environment or too little? I have tried everything and nothing works.

Might try this...
Go to System Preferences > Universal Access and down in the Display: section make sure that the Enhance contrast: slider is all the way to left to Normal, or more to the right for less Contrast.

I have a share button on one of my pages of my website (for facebook) but i can't seem to get the "title", "description" and "image" to work properly on the preview when its posted on peoples walls. It just seems to scan the website for information and i want to be able to control what the post looks like. Please Help. Here is what i have

Since Firefox 4, I can get a background image to work using base64 encoded, but not a local file, this worked in Firefox 3, how do I resolve this.

Using either of the 4 examples shown below, to have a background image display inside about:blank worked in Firefox 3.x (using Stylish add-on), however since Firefox 4, only using the base64 encoded version of images works. Is there any way to fix this so I don't have to encode every image I wish to use? Encoding the image makes the stylish file absolutely huge, & a real pain to keep encoding whenever I want to change the image.

Now I'm running Itunes version 4! It won't let me access the store, I've tried everything on the help pages,
EVERYTHING, I need a older version of Itunes, but not as old as version 4, which, no, it will not upgrade
automatically for me, it says no upgrade available. Why does Mac not support older versions of
its operating systems, why do they make it so hard to find help for those system users other than

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

Can't get Extension's icons to work properly

Hi,
I don't know why but it seems I'm unable to make the extension show its own icon (the ones that EB lets you choose in the Bundle Manifest Editor - Normal Icon, Rollover Icon, Dark Normal, etc.).
I've checked the manifest and it seems OK. There's a point I wasn't aware of, in the documentation, saying:
You must save all of the alternative image files in the src/ folder of your project, so that they are copied to the correct location in the output directory.
I guess it means that I can nest them in a folder as well, but I've tried with the following setting too:

I think I'm near to the solution, but I'm afraid I'd need some extra help.
I've found out that EB's visual editor for the manifest didn't update the actual xml file (so that the editor showed some icons path and the actual xml a different one). Then I've compared the two manifest.xml (the one in the .staged-extension hidden folder and the one in the bin-debug/CSXS folder) and found discrepancies there as well. To tell the truth, even the .mxi (in the extension version) resetted to 1.0.0 - that's maybe because I've messed with an external text editor directly with the xml and mxi while FB was open...?
Anyway, I've uninstalled with Extension Manager the extension, synchronized the two xml, fixed the mxi. Exported the ZXP, with certificate and timestamp.
Before installing it, I've checked that both:
/Users/Davide/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CS6ServiceManager/extensions
and
/Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CS6ServiceManager/extensions
were empty (at least my extension was *not* listed). Just in case you're wondering, /Applications/Adobe\ Photoshop\ CS6/Plug-ins/Panels is empty as well.
To my surprise, if I launch Photoshop, here it is - my extension. Mind you, the folders are empty and I haven't installed the ZXP yet. How could it be?!
So I'd like to get rid of that before installing the possibly-correct version; but... how?

Can't get thunar-shares-plugin to work properly

I have installed from AUR thunar-vfs and thunar-shares-plugin, to be able to easily create shares in XFCE. Then I followed the steps detailed in the wiki, but I can't get it to work. When I right click on a folder and select properties, I get the additional "Shares" tab, but its contents are disabled and I can't do anything. In the bottom of the tab, I can see in written in red "You are not the owner of the folder", but indeed I am.
Samba is running, and as I stated, I configured it following the steps in the wiki. I can also open other shares in thunar, but I can't create shares.
The only reason I think that might be causing problems it that when I built thunar-vfs, I had to remove the 'hal' dependency, and also '--with-volume-manager=hal' from the configure script, because the hal dependency was failing. Could this be the problem? How can I fix it?
Also, is there other good alternative for XFCE to easily create shares?

Ok, heres what I just tried. I tried playing The Dark Knight on DVD on my PC. Background music is playing throughout, as well as some sound effects, but voices and speech as well as most other sound effects cannot be heard. I am experiencing the same problem with some of the PC games I'm playing as well. You'll hear background music and background effects but you wont hear other SFX or speech. The strange this is that whatever music or background SFX are playing is playing out of all the speakers. What seems to be the issue?

How can I get "Edit in Photoshop" to work properly again?

I purchased and upgraded to Lightroom 4.0. Got things to work fine with some ACR updates for Photoshop CS3 that I'm currently using. Now have ACR 4.6 installed (the latest for my version of PS) as well as ACR 6.7.
I was able to make edits to the DNG RAW files in Lightroom 4.0 and then choose Edit in Photoshop (Command-E) and see those changes in a PSD file in Photoshop, where I could make further changes.
All of a sudden, I went to edit a photo in Photoshop and saw the original DNG file with no Lightroom edits. Some tinkering and update to Lightroom 4.1 but nothing can seem to make it show those Lightroom edits now when I go to Photoshop.
How did this break? How do I fix it?

My Lightroom 4 was doing a fine job rendering my changes to the RAW file as a PSD on the way into PS, especially after I downloaded Adobe Camera Raw 4.6 for Photoshop CS3. Then it just stopped, with no warning. To try to fix this problem, I downloaded ACR 6.7 and also LR4.1, but it's still just opening the DNG file when I run Command-E to edit in Photoshop CS3.
When I use Adobe Bridge CS3 to see the changes I've made in LR4.1 (especially after saving the metadata to the file with Command-S), it shows the updated changes but when I then open in Camera Raw or Photoshop, they're gone.
Thoughts? I'm worried because Command-E in LR4.1 just opens the DNG without modified changes instead of the PSD file as was customary.

Why is code to get center of image not working?

Hey there. I have am trying to establish the center of the imags that load so that I can put them in the center of the stage. I am doing this as each image is a different size.
Here is the code i have gotten to work before but its not working now and I have been searching to find what I have done wrong with no luck. : (
Would you look it over and maybe you will see what I am doing wrong?

The result when I publish is the picture comes on stage but the top left corner goes to 640 instead of the center of the image going to 640.
I tried several variations of this all with the same result:
imageLoader.x = -1*imageLoader.width/2;
I tried using setRegistrationPoint with the following tutorial: http://flashscript.ca/set-registration-as3.php
and I tried doing all of the above by inserting the loader into a sprite and then applying the code to the sprite and then adding that sprite to another sprite and putting that at 640 and not inserting it in another sprite and trying to straight up put the existing sprite at 640 (hopefully that all makes sense). And I have tried to put it to width/3 and nothing different happens.
If you have any other ideas or can see what I am doing wrong I would really be gratefull for some tips! : )

How can I get TV show titles to display properly in the video app

Hi,
I have an iPad (1) which I have updated to iOS5.
I have noticed that in the Video app, TV shows that I have created from my own DVDs only show the season and not the show title, but have a leading comma before the season as though something is missing.
As an example, say I have episodes of Angel Season 3 on my iPad. The title bar at the top of the page only says " , Season 3" instead of "Angel, Season 3"
This doesn't happen with iTunes purchased content which appears to display as expected. However I've looked through all the tags and can't see anything I'm missing.
Has anyone experienced the same? Is there a solution - even if it involves new tags? I previously got all my tags working really well across iTunes, iPad and Apple TV so this is a bit frustrating for me.

How can i get my n97 back to work properly?

Hi everybody!
I need some help, i don't know what to do with my n97...
I have updated its firmware every time was needed, i've done a lot of hard resets, i've free a lot of space in C, a lot of RAM memory and....it keeps randomly freezing!!
After six months dealing and struggling with it, i can say some sure things:
-I think it's a software problem, because every time i do a hard reset, it works perfectly without freezing for a while. Always after a reset all works fine, and always a while after, even if no aplication were installed, the phone start freezing.
-It worked quite good before the famous kinetic scrolling on firmware v20. Sometimes i try to select an option and the menu scrolls down again and again. I suggest that kinetic scrolling is optional in next firmware revision OR have the chance of downgrading the firmware through NSU, so i can install the firmware that works better for my device.
Does anyone has fixed this problems?i can't use this phone, i use it as a very expensive 32Gb portable hard drive, while i daily use my old n95 8gb, a very reliable phone.

I can't get my Airplay speakers to work properly.

Look inside the audio output port. If there is a red light, that signifies that the internal switch is stuck in the output position. Insert the headphone plug a few times. If no success, blow in it real hard or use compressed air. If still no success, jiggle a toothpick inside the port. Last resort is a trip to the genius bar.

FP.Get Image method does not capture the background image

The attached VI (8.5) demonstrates the issue nicely - the background image is not included in the image captured by the FP.Get Image method.
Workaround - don't use the background image if you want to capture the FP like this - paste your image in the background or use a picture control.
