went like this a week ago. cut it off. enventually cut back on and screen work. phone went dead today, plugged in charger and the screen came up like this again. this time tried cutting off and on but screen wont start back working.

Connect your phone to iTunes, then click on the name of your phone on the left side of iTunes under Devices. To the right you will see tabs representing your sync settings (Summary, Info, Apps, etc.). One of the tabs is Music and one is Podcasts. On each, you can check Sync Music and Sync Podcasts and set the specific music an podcasts you want on your phone. When you're ready, click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone and transfer the media you selected on each of these tabs to your phone.

Why did my battery background on my home screen change to orange from blue. It looks like a warning of some type, but as this is a "replacement" I didn't get anything with it..

Hmm that's odd, let's resolve this mystery! Does it turn this color when the battery is at a specific percentage? Have you installed a battery application? Does a soft reset (power off and on) help?

Why does my screen look like this

Everything is increased even on startup and i cant get it to change

Everything looks perfect to me! What is it that increased? Display? If so, play around w/your resolution which is found in System Preferences>Displays>Display.

Why does my Finder screen look like this?

When I open Finder by double-clicking on the "Macintosh HD" icon or by clicking the Finder icon on the Dock, it comes up with the left pane being much larger than it needs to be. I don't recall it doing this when I first got the computer, so I'm thinking that I've done something to mess it up. Here's a screenshot so you know what I'm talking about:

So every time I use Finder, I have to drag that middle bar over to the left some so that I can actually see more files & folders on the right side. Help!

I also used this method. Sometimes though I add one step - I open a new finder window, click one of the icons in the window (once) and then close the window with an apple-w or the red button. Usually does the trick.

Why does my screen look like it has spots all over when it has not been in or near water?

Has anyone else had this happen? I have had my phone for about a month and today it looks like the phone has water spots all over the screen. It hasn't gotten wet even accidentally from rain or anything. Haven't had any, so I don't know why it would look like this. Is there a way to get rid of this?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Why does new 5s screen look like the old 4?

We just bought and backed up two new 5s replacing iphone 4. Why does one new 5s screen look like the old 4 iphone. One phone shows new version, one is still old. I have downloaded and backed up twice, same thing happens. Used icloud to backup.

Why do I have screen display distortion that look something like barcodes when my browser is open and I start using another application such as word or excel?

Seems that whenever I am connected to mozilla and my browser (yahoo) is active, I will open games, word or excel, one at a time or open more than one at a time, I get screen distortions that look like bar codes that make it impossible to read or distinguish the images on the screen. It happens very frequently. I have tried changing my screen settings and updating my graphics card software. Nothing seems to help. If mozilla is closed and I am not browsing, I do not have this problem.

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried your suggestions and for a moment it appeared to work. I opened multiple applications, several games and a word document all at the same time. While I opened the games, it appeared to be fixed, but when I opened the word document the distortion appeared. I checked for graphics display drivers but there are none.

Why doesn't my print-out look like the screen view?

This happens every time I use Firefox.
Whenever I try to print a listing from Ebay, the main picture is omitted from the print-out. Here is an example. This first link is to a screen-shot (Fn and PrtSc) of a typical listing on Ebay:

There's a big picture of the item at the left-hand side of the page.
Now take a look at what I get when I use the Firefox 'Print' command (this is a scan of the printed page):
On the same PhotoBucket page look for FirefoxPrint.jpg
There's a big blank space where the main image should be!
I have not been idle and have checked a few things before posting this question:
1) I have attended to the print settings as highlighted in the helpful Firefox article on printer troubleshoting. It has not cured the problem.
2) From the same article I have tried the 'Print' function on Internet Explorer. While it pains me to say this, I get the correct printing from Internet Explorer.
3) Operating Firefox in 'Safe Mode' has not removed the problem.
4) Operating in 'Normal' mode but with add-ons disabled has not removed the problem.
5) When I hover the mouse over the main image on the Ebay page I get

in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Might this be a clue or is it a red-herring?

Overall it isn't unusual for "print" to be a bit different than what shows on the "screen", that page may use @media for "screen" and for "print". The '''Print''' item on that page could be the difference, or the web browser might be following that code is you used the '''Print ''menu item or button''''' in Firefox. <br />

Typically, the '''@print''' CSS code is used to hide navigation menu's ''(can't "navigate" to a different web page from a sheet of paper)'' and maybe advertisements ''(can't "click" on an ad that is on paper)'' from being printed out so that only the text of an article is printed to paper.
Basically, it's probably not a fault with Firefox, but rather Firefox following the commands on the page put there by the person who authored that page, or a standard CSS "style sheet" used by eBay.

Why does my iPhone 3GS keep powering off into a black screen with what looks like a barcode displayed?

My iPhone 3GS keeps powering off at any point when between 5 and 50% battery remains.
I could be in the middle of texting, receiving a call or using an app when all of a sudden the screen goes black and very faint randomly distributed lines are visible from the top of the screen to the bottom. The display looks a little like a barcode. I am then unable to restart the phone without plugging it into a power supply. I've looked on the Internet and cannot find a similair case.
It is so frustrating and I am continually thinking it will crash at any point.
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

As a first step, try doing a Reset PRAM.

The sound settings are stored in PRAM. If there is some corruption of settings in PRAM, a reset may fix your problem.

I am using firefox 4 and my website looks different in the LCD and Laptop(both with same screen resolutions). The same looks ok with firefox 3.6. Why i am getting this difference?

I am using firefox 4 and i can see difference in the laptop and the lcd. The site looks fine with firefox 3.6 for both and also for all the browsers. Only for firefox 4, things are getting screwed in laptop, as it looks fine for the LCD.

Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.
