Hi
At first, Database Instance Installation doesnot mean that we are installing the database software. Aa we know that Database software must be installed first before starting SAP installations.
In SAP Database instance installation, the required Database schema is created for the SAP Central Instance we have installed first and all the configurations between SAP and Database are done at this process.
If we try to intall the DB Instance before CI then it would give error because for DB CI is prerequisite.
Technically, whole of the file system have to be configured before schema creation from which SAP would fetch the data and informations.

Should I install bootcamp before doing a system migration?

I have a new macbook pro I am setting up and an older one with bootcamp and parallels installed. Should I install bootcamp before I migrate my files or does it not make a difference?

You can install Boot Camp whenever you want. It will be the same if you do it before or after migrating your data because it doesn't affect to Boot Camp

There's no need to do so, but you should make an iTunes or iCloud backup first.
You can restore a backup from an older iOS device to a newer iOS device (i.e., I can restore an iPhone 3GS backup that was using iOS 6.1.6 to an iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.2).
If this wasn't possible, then people would never be able to upgrade from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 6, for example, and still have all their data.

but according this result, I can not get MediaLocator "dsound",
Should I ask all users install JMF or there is another way to solve this problem.

First is why not to use javaSound?
Second: Reliable capture uses native modules in JMF performance packs.
jsound.dll, 4example, on Win. And you need to register(commit) devices - so you have to run JMFInit (.exe, or .class) on client, and not under Applet.
Shortly: you need to have native modules jmutil and jsound (.dll in System(on Win95-98) )or in System32 (on WinNT) ) on client, you have to threat client to run JMFInit, and you need to allow capture in applets, if you want client to record sound in applet.
P.S. Allowing capture in applets could be set by any code such as

Why I cannot install CDB to Database v.10.2.0.2 ???

But there is end of installActions.log:

The error seems to be db connect error, so please try to check
1. set the environment variable dbs_ora_schema=SAP<SID>
dbs_ora_tnsname=SID
EG :
dbms_type=ORA
dbs_ora_tnsname=HX1
dbs_ora_schema=SAPHX1
ORACLE_PSRV=HX1
ORACLE_SID=HX1
DB_SID=HX1
ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/HX1/920_64
ORACLE_BASE=/oracle
ORA_NLS33=/oracle/client/92x_64/ocommon/nls/admin/data
Where HX1 is the SID for instance.
2. start the database and then try running the installation.try also starting instance and listener

sapparam(1c): No Profile used.

I just purchased a bb 8330 and i want to install 5.0 os on it should i do it before or after i activate it?

I just bought i new blackberry 8330 and i want to install 5.0 os on it. I have sprint as my carrier and i dont know if the allow 5.0 on their service. Should i install it before or after i activate it, or does it not matter?
also how long will it take when i install it on my blackberry with no personal settings and should i back-up my blackberry before i do it even though i have nothing saved on it?

I would activate it first and get used to the basic operation.
The upgrade will take about an hour to be on the safe side, and yes always take a full backup before
any upgrade. The link below will provide you with your carrier's website for downloading the Blackberry
device OS. Do you have the Blackberry desktop manager installed? What version is it?

Installation of Database instance on server where database is already exist

Hi All,
We have a separate oracle database team who have copied one of the database using oracel backup restore procedure. This database is in 10g and it is working fine from oracle perspective.
Now as a basis admin i need to install database instance using the existing database. I should not overwrite this existing database but i should attach this existing database while installation of database instace.
I have done normal installation using sapinst and installation export but not done this type of installation as yet.
I am not aware about which option of sapinst i should use for installation of database instance so that it can use the existing database without overwriting it OR if i go with normal way will it able to catch the existing database and give me the option to attah it instead of overwriting it?
Request you all to let me know how to go about it.

1) Yes, This is ABAP only installation.
2) The database is oracle and the file systems on database server are as per SAP standard.
So as per Sunny,
Only way forward is to install the database instance using system copy method of back restore.
I have a mail from my senior, saying
"Normally, sapinst should sense database, SAPERP schema owner and you should be all set.
If that does not happen, as soon as sapinst pauses - so you may continue with Oracle Universal Installer in a different window
,you should STOP (abandon) the Database Instance install phase."
Here is the query.
1) "you should STOP (abandon) the Database Instance install phase."
I am not sure how to stop OR abandon the database instnace install phase. Do anyone knows this?

4.6C Database instance installation for Oracle 10.2.0.2 64 bit

Trying to Install 4.6C Database instance with R3SETUP for Oracle 10g database.
The Oracle binaries for Oracle 10.2.0.2 64 bit are already installed.
When i run SETUP.BAT for installing Database instance i get the following error.
*Error: DBCOMMONDBENV_NT_ORA InternalColdKeyCheck 2 648*
*Please install Oracle before continuing the installation!*
I fail to understand the error since Oracle is already install.
Please help resolving the issue.

As per the previous discussion we had regarding SAP note 932722, Upgrading 10g by copying datafiles from the 32 bit server to 64 bit x86_64 server.
The Oracle upgrade has been completed sucessfully as below,
a) Oracle 10g binaries were installaed
b) Datafiles copied from 32 bit server
c) 10g upgrade completed using the perl scripts attached with the note

Why should I use EJB

My name is Gandharv Sirohi. I am a student, and new to EJB. I want to know why should I use EJB, before I can start learning it if every thing can be done using Java Servlets and JSP.

It's true there are a lot of services available to both the web tier and the EJB tier. One of the
real strengths of EJB is support for transactional business logic. Web components can
explicitly demarcate transactions via UserTransaction, but container-managed transaction
support in EJB components at the business method level offers a much simpler approach
for developing and maintaining such applications. An example of some EJB services not available
in the web tier are : method-level security, RMI-IIOP access, message-driven beans,
transactional/persistent timer service, stateful components, extended container-managed
persistence contexts, guaranteed single-threaded execution, and interceptors.
Of course there are many services available to the web tier that are not in EJB. It's not
about picking one of the two that should always be used. Like any tool/technology, each has its strengths, weaknesses, and design center.
