Why should I ask the community?

Why should I ask the community, isn’t apple the one whom I should be getting help from?
I don’t need apple points or free staff, considering that I have to work to make my leaving. I don’t have the time or the aspiration for it. I just want to know “ Why  iweb is limited on  the web site dawn load” I understand if the web site has been designed with other software , but have no understanding otherwise and I can care less for some smart… telling me to do backups or to get told to start all over!!!
I since I don’t have all this time and I don’t wish to make all this time for communities, I just want understand if is time to stop buying apple products.
Oidige

Hi everybody first my apologies to the community members, It was not my intention to offend any of you or to criticize your genuine help!
I’m very disappointed with Apple’s business conduct and their assistance in my home town, after changing  he back cover of  my Mac book, it didn’t work anymore. I bought a new one and all my problems with iweb started.  I went to different concessionaire but they had no solution for my problem. I won’t get in the details; I just cannot understand why the iweb software doesn’t have choice to dawn load sites creates with iweb!  One  again my excuses to the community!
Sincerely Oidige

Why should I ask a question?
If I ask a question and nobody gives a good answer to it then it is unresolved. It will remain unresolved for all time. There is no way to mark it abandoned, or forget about it.

Donald, I have a question for you. First you ask "why should I answer a question?" and after beating that to death, you are back with "why should I ask a question?" So I am wondering...are you just trying to yank everyone's chain? Why can't you get it through your head that these discussions are here to provide a way for people to exchange information. If the biggest worry in your life is your "status" on the discussion forum, you should consider yourself very fortunate indeed. I for one am not going to lose any sleep over whether or not a question is "unresolved for all time".
PS There really is a way to forget about it...just forget about it!

with the new ipad coming out soon, why should I buy the ipad 2?

I can only echo what Pogo says about buying based on what it does today.
3 weeks ago I bought a Mac Mini. A new Mac Mini model has been rumoured to come out anywhere between the same week I made my purchase and the end of August. None's been released as yet.
I wanted one in the week of June that I bought mine so I bought it based on the fact that it did what I wanted and I couldn't imagine anything which could be added that I'd want - my MacBook Pro doesn't have Thunderbolt so the most likely addition isn't really going to be much use for me.
Basically you have to buy what you what based on what's out at the the time.
I can promise that within seconds of the iPad3 being released, the web will be full of rumours about the next one!

  • HT5012 Why should I click the accept button for a server certificate at every initial time although it is listed as a trusted root CA on iOS6?

I'm now using a root CA which was listed above.
But when I try to connect WLAN via EAP with RADIUS initially, I should click the accept button for the certificate of the RADIUS Server.
    Why should it work?

    Hi,
I'm still looking for the reason.
Isn't there any way which can avoid the verification for a public certificate of authentication server using EAP-TLS.
Why should I click the accept button in initial step for authenticating with RADIUS server using EAP-TLS although the root CA of the server certificate is listed in the default trusted CA on iOS?

  • Why should we add the components of JAppet to Container object ?

why should we add the components of JAppet to Container object ? Because we are able to run the program by adding the components to the JApplet directly without using any container objects. Both with using and without using container to add components are giving the same outputs. So why we need to add them to container ? Thanks for all replying

we are able to run the program by adding the components to the JApplet directly without using any container objectsSort of true. JApplet does have an add() method. And you can use that method rather than using getContentPane() and adding things to the Container it returns. But this method does not add things to the applet "directly without using any container objects".
The [API documentation|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/javax/swing/JApplet.html] explains: "JApplet contains a JRootPane as its only child. The contentPane should be the parent of any children of the JApplet. As a convenience add and its variants, remove and setLayout have been overridden to forward to the contentPane as necessary. This means you can write:
    {code}
    applet.add(child);
    {code}
And the child will be added to the contentPane. The contentPane will always be non-null. Attempting to set it to null will cause the JApplet to throw an exception"

You can't change languages in any of the movies offered in the store. Some movies have subtitles but it is in the same language as the movie.
Depending on what country you are in, you may get movies in that countries native language.

  • Why should I download the cvs in order to build one packge?

Why should I download all the cvs server content in order to build one package?
    http://archlinux.org/static/docs/arch-i … tml#source

The abs command gives you full access to the instructions through which all your packages are built. Having a complete abs tree in your system is definitely a good idea and does not take much space. Moreover, it is time consuming only the first time you do that.
Abs (as a complete build system for arch) is supposed to act in such way. If you do not like it and want just the PKGBUILD for a package in the arch cvs, it is very easy to do this and there is nothing arch specific there: just use 'cvs' to grab stuff, or use the web interface. There is no need to specify this in the arch docs because this happens for any os project using cvs. On the contrary, abs is the arch peculiarity.

  • Why Should I Keep The X-FI XtremeMusic With The Heatsi

That's my question, now if there has been any bug fixes or changes for the better, then I will keep it. I have a nForce4 board running SLI, and from what I read in the past these cards had issues with the nForce4 chi
    ps.
But from what I also read that Creative said somewhere in a letter, the only reason for this revision, was to keep up with the demand of these cards, to meet that market need, supply, nothing else.
In doing so, this process created a chip that was hotter and needed a heatsink, so from what I see here there is no performance increase to justify this, it is just a lack of quality.
Because anyone that has been in this industry knows, if you aren't improving quality and performance, then because of the increase in heat, due to this performance, and the need for the heatsink, like in the case of a video card, well if there is no measurable performance gain as in this case, then you are simply going backwards in quality and technology.
I for one will be returning this card, unless the community can tell me 00% for certainty, that changes where made for the better, and it's not just a revision for increasing volume, which I believe it is.
    ALOHA
P.S. Why all this? Well I can't use my floppy now, no space with the last PCI slot, which is the only one I can use, YES POOR MOTHERBOARD DEISGN TOO. The heatsink gets in the way of the floppy cable.

Well it is available on the older cards too, but then you would have to buy one old card, and then RMA it back to CL(+shipping), then CL would flash the bios on youre card, and after some weeks you would get the card back flashed. But if youre card works good now, you wont see any improvement in performance between the one you got now, and an old one. Buy a smaller rounded cable for the disk device. You are worrying too much about the heatsink, but if you want, you and me could trade cards. I want the one with the heatsink...

Looking for guidance.. the title says it all!!  Been over paying for the past 5+ years with Verizon.

Based on your current bill, you are paying $50 for data plan, $25 per line and $20 + for a phone installment.  Or youre in a high tax state and have 2 year contracts.
If your contracts or Edge payments are almost complete.  It's a good time to evaluate.  carriers don't prorate, so port numbers 2-3 days before your bill end date.
    Best reception.
    1.    Verizon
    2.    AT&T
    3.   T-Mobile, limited to major urban and suburban areas
    4.   Sprint, very limited coverage, major urban areas.
    prices
Verizon and AT&T are tied for prices and plans
T-Mobile offers some plans slightly lower in price.  Their latest offer is a truly unlimited data plan, at a price.  It's not cheap, but it's real.
Sprint is slightly cheaper.  Not really half of other carriers.  You get what you pay for.
    phones.
unless you bought an iPhone 6 or Nexus 6 your phone will not work on another major carrier.  there are prepaid carriers that use Verizon network.   So you will have to buy a new phone.
most carriers offer a perk for porting your numbers.  If the carrier offers to pay ETFs, you have to payoff your account and provide the proof, and turn in your current phone to get credit.

Hello fello cell phone modders, and users alike,
I have recently had my Motorola Ming a1200 give out on me, it was a really cool phone "Linux" based solid OS.  Lots of mods for it.  Alot of the s60 Guys would come on our board and give us JAVA games, and we would help each other with what we could.  I recently say the Nokia Xpress 5530 and the 5520 on a website.  The 5530 is $217.00 us dllrs. and the 5520 is$197.00.  I was sold on the 5530's specs, and what its was as a phone.
*But I came into this forum, and I say all your guys' problems with this phone, and I see that there has not been a firmware update for you guys yet. ]
*So I was thinking about going with the 5520, as I really didn't see any problems in the forum like I did with the 5530.  Sides you can get a usb 2.0 wifi card to make up for the wifi deletion.
I am asking you guys for help on what I should do???
At this point I m thinking about getting the 5520 or a HTC Touch Viva.
Nokia members please help, your suggestions truely matter to me.
Thank you for you time, and happy modding.

  • Why should I use the OpenDocument file format?

Forgive the noobish sounding question, because I'm definitely not a linux newbie anymore. The current xkcd (http://www.xkcd.com/743) got me thinking. I never had a problem with .doc files before, because everything can read them. And I'd never used .odt files before because I only recently discovered abiword-plugins lets me read .odt files in Abiword.
So, I'd like you to please convince me why I should use .odt files over .doc files. Thank you.

I wonder if it would be worth it to teach people how to use LaTeX. I certainly don't think it's more complicated than writing a Word document in all cases. I can't believe how much time my coworkers spend try to "format" many of the 50+ page documents we work with. So often I hear problems like "This page break is wrong", "The index links are all messed up", "How do I get rid of this space?", and similar. Some of the time the answer is "We'll just leave it" or "I'll just re-write it". I thought all of those big fancy buttons on the top of the window were supposed to make writing a Word document easy? /rant
Say, is there an application that allows a person to right-click on a TEX file and "Open (as PDF)" and "Edit (as TEXT)", For any OS? You know, kind of like a JIT compiler.
    ...and is this too off-topic?
Well, I could share my experience here.
    1. LaTeX is probably similar to Perl or Vim in terms of the learning curve. I mean, it's more "learn as you work" thing: LaTeX relies heavily on it CTAN repository and there are lots of different ways to do the same thing. Which is why all the guides are more like cookbooks with recipes how to perform different kind of tasks, not a 101 tutorial.
    2. LaTeX is more oriented towards large documents, rather books than articles. Which means, one doesn't really need all of the features that LaTeX has to markup a document less than 50 pages. Most of the guides teach you how to work with books, while most of the users need to work with smaller texts. It's not a real problem for somebody who uses LaTeX for publishing his books to use it for smaller texts, but in other cases it's a bit challenging.
Whenever you grab a LaTeX guide, you can strip it off all the advanced topics and you'll find out that merely one or two chapters are needed for most WYSIWYG converts: document structure (the essential packages, etc), beautifiers (boldface, italic, underlining, etc), paragraph formatting (alignments, columns, etc) headers/titles, tables, images embedding and footnotes. All of this can be described in 50 pages at most, and that would be totally comprehensive.
So basically, one just needs a guide to LaTeX for word processing. Learning LaTeX for that purposes using publishing-oriented guides is really time consuming.
Perhaps, there is even some kind of a special macro for word processing, that has less features, but makes them easier to memorize and use - I don't know.
Actually, Pandoc's user guide could be a nice starting point, since pandoc has exactly the needed feature set. You should just expand it with some page properties (interlinear interval, page margins, etc), a review of the available tools for LaTeX (aucTeX, vim-latex, LyX, Kile, gummi, may be some popular extensions to Geany, Gedit, Kate), some popular Web resources (package reviews, tips-and-tricks wikis, etc) and some further reading.

  • HT204370 Why should I buy the movie in English and in my language (Slovak) as a separate purchases?

Here is a screen shot from my iPhone. There is finaly a movie Brave available but if I want to have both audio versions I will have to spent twice 16,99 EUR.
I prefer the English but for kids Slovak is essential. Any ideas how should I proceed?

In case you haven't figured it out from everyone else's posts, you don't need to spend $30 per month for the 3G. If you don't need it most of the time, and only really want to use it for trips, then you just sign up for the service for when the trip starts, pay for a single month ($15 or $30 depending on how much you plan on using the 3G service). I don't think you even need to remember to cancel the plan after the road trip ... I think you can have it automatically terminate if that is what you want.
I'm buying a 3G version, and I will either not sign up for any plan, or sign up for the $15 per month plan for most of the time. Before a trip when I think I will be using the 3G service more often, I will probably sign up for unlimited for that month only.
If you are on the fence, it is probably worth the $130.

p.s. One more benefit that is a big deal for me that a lot people aren't talking about is the GPS. I think the iPad will be a great portable GPS unit, and the WiFi only versions do not have GPS capabilities. With multi-tasking, I think that more interesting GPS like apps will be available this fall as well. I think it would be great to have the iPad log GPS locations, and then when you transfer photos to your iPad, it could automatically encode them with the GPS locations.

  • Why should i invalidate the output

    Generally
We will map Model to Component/Custom Controller and then to View controlller after excuting the bapi
    we normally invalidate the ouput
    wdContext.nodeOutput_XYZ.invalidate();
    why are we doing this?

    Murali,
This way we are sending message to IWDNode to drop any existing elements and later use fresh copy form available source (either supply function, or supplying role info in case of RFC model node, or even from "no source" -- i.e. developer himself has to provide code for populating node).
This is necessary because in some cases <node_elements> => <model_objects_collection> link is one-way, so updates in later are not reflected automatically in former.
Note, that this is not always true. This is true for WS models, JavaBean models. But ESF (both ABAP & EJB) <model_objects_collection> are able to notify node about changes.
In RFC models every but one relation is able to do the same. And this is exactly the relation from "_Input" to "_Output" class. Hence we have to invalidate node for this case.
