Why SKF posting is statistical

I read the below in forum :
SKF is not a real cost object , it carries statistical posting only so it solely for reporting and analysis. However activity type is use for cost allocation from one cost object to another. Activity type for example No of Employee, Production hr whcih we can use to charge production over head to production order.
Now my question is how can it be considered as statistical? As I use SKF as tracing factor to do allocation via cycle and the cost is transferred from sender to receiver.
So how can it be statistical and only for reporting and analysis? It has COST transfer.
Please advise why it is saying that SKF is statistical.

Stock is increased and FI entry is posted in statistical GR for third party

Hello
I was trying to activate the functionalty for statistical GR in third party but STUCK due to following issues. For enabling this functionaltity I have checked "Goods Reciept" and "GR Non-Valuated" check in "Delivery tab" of PO.
1. After creating Statistical GR through MIGO (101), stock has been posted in plant. I was expecting no movement in Stock .
2. I was hoping there should not be in FI posting but FI entry is posted through statistical GR .
We are using third party process from many years but without statistical GR. Requirement from client is to post statistical GR without FI entry and no stock should be updated. Please advise if anyone has idea on this.
FYI--We have item category TAS and schedule line category CS in customisation. Also advise if above two settings in PO are enought to turn ON the statistical GR functionality.

As advised , pleae find enclosed screens for OMS2, PO and FI entry. FI entry might be wrong as while posting MIGO ..I was getting error "WE etnry is missing in table YFTFI_SUBST236 and I maintained some dummy GL accounts.

After inventory transfer why we post excise document ?

Dear friends I have a small doubt ....after posting the inventory transfer for excisable goods from one WH to another WH the system asking to post respective Excise invoice ....... why we post the excise incoming or out going invoice (by selecting WH at BP level radio button) what is the use of this entry.......can any body clarify it.

Hi Komanduri.......
It is an Excise rule that if you are moving inventory from any excisable warehouse you must have to raise Excise Invoice.
And you may or may not punch this invoice as per situation.
For example if you have two branches and for that you created them as two separate warehouses. And both branches are excisable unit. So if you are transferring your inventory from one branch to other which are excisable so you have to raise Excise invoice based on Inventory Transfer......
This is the main reason why SAP has given this facility..........

Settlement to cost center posted for statistical WBS element

We have the following scenario
Statistical WBS elements with assigned Cost center posted for actual postings
Network assigned to statistical WBSE and settlement rule on the same WBSE
On settlement run CJ88 the network costs are transferred from network to Cost Center posted in the WBSE.
Issue:
While analysing the active availability control the assigned value is doubled. This happens only of the networks are settled. System considers the Actual values from network + Statistical value from WBSE to caculate the assigned values.
Simulation details as under.
SP-SET-02-3 (wbs element)
    COSS 2011 11 0007101000     0001240704 KOAO D INR                 100.00 INR
    NWA 500000002408 0010
        COSS 2011 04 0007101000     0001240704 KOAO O INR                 100.00- INR   S -- does not contribute to assigned value
        COSP 2011 04 0007101000     0001240704 COIN D INR                 100.00 INR
        COSP 2011 01 0007101000     0001240704 KPPP D INR                 100.00 INR   M   -- does not contribute to assigned value
Hence the assigned value gets doubled and eating up the budget.
Anyone encountered similar issues pls share the possible solutions.

Real Posting Vs Statistical Posting

Hi All,
i have got some doubts related to these.
a. Is there any concept behind real and statistical posting?
b. What does it mean to get transaction data from real objects?
c. Are there any rules which can be applied on cost objects to make it real or statistical?

hello nikhil,
As real posting is concerned it is the actual transaction occurs which post the documents but as in statistical it is not complete posting so u can post it no. of times or no. of posting u can do in statistical posting . but in real posting u can do only one posting.
2. Suppose if u r posting the document for real order then in this case ur cost centre will be statistically posted and data will also statistically posted on profit center.
if data is posted on real cost center then here ur order will be statistical .and prifit center will also be statistical ,
this means that in all cases the data will be statistically posted on profit center either u have real coste center or order.
3. yes u can do this in customising tht whether u can make ur cost center real or stastical.

Can anyone explain why my posts have been removed???

It seems that for some reason my posts from yesterday have been removed. I can't imagine why that would happen, I didn't breach any code of conduct, and my topics were inline with the general theme of the forums.

Why are POST/REPLY not an option near to the articles ?

Like in nearly every other messageboard systems, the POST/REPLY is needed in the context of an article. Its awkward to step into another menu, before one can do POST to something you have forgot in the meantime.
Also, the postings that gets Locked is a bit mystic. The lock symbol should appear near the postings/replies and not in the header away from where you read.
Try to look at the article: Why do postings gets locked?
That article is locked !
Just a newbie, but a bit frustrated on the UI for your forums.

your critic is comprehensible, but in my opinon every forum is differently built up! Toshiba had decided to do it in this way. But as far as I know there are certainly some moderators in the background. They will read it ad report (I'll hope! :-))
About locked topics I can only tell you that in my opinion the moderators lock some topics if they mean the problem is solved or the user had solved his problem for his own!
It is very difficult to lock a topic (I had a forum running at my private HP) for the moderator!
And the user, who opens the Thread, can reopen it when the topic was closed by a moderator!

Why BO02 acting as statistical in billing??

Dear All
while doing Rebates--let us us take for example BO02 condition type.
normally we assign 7 as sub total and 24 as requirement in V/08 with ERB,ERU as accounting keys.
while running the sales cycle--this BO02--will not be active in sales order(due to Req 24) and become active in Billing but shows as statistical..(the last column in Billing--Item conditions)
My query "where i suggested the system to take this condition type as statistical??( i have told neither in V/06 (no accruals field in V/06) or in V/08)
Also while assigning BO02 into my pricing procedure--the manual column will be in display--where was the control and what was the logic behind this??
Note: I tried by changing calculation type from Expense reimbursement to Discount/surcharge--then BO02 will not be acting as statistical in Billing?
what was the logic here--i dont catch???

Hi phani,
The control of making all rebate condition type as statistical is on Condition class. Bcz in the concept of rebate, we dont pay the trade discount to the customer immediatedly after individual billing of the item. the amount is paid based on a period of time and all trade discounts which customer is liable to get has to be consolidated in the system and accrued in a GL account associted account key ERU. Hence, the rebate condition type is always coming as statistical in billing document even after no check is marked in the statistical check box of pricing procedure.
If you change the Condition class from Expense reimbursement to discount & surcharge then u can maintain the condition record in VK11 and your condition type will work as normal discount type.

Why Actual Posting skips some employees

Hi,
I am facing a problem during simulation and actual posting run.
In simulation posting run system executes the exact employees while during actual posting system skips few employees regularly. Further more these employees have no master data problem.

Simulation run does not dates into account though it is there in the selection screen ..however in actual run the dates are taken into account ...also for posting the results need to be present in the cluster....if they are not here then those employees will be skipped.

If to iCloud, is there another device sharing your Apple iCloud ID? If there is, anything done to contacts by the other device will be synced to your iPhone contacts. The same is true of anything done to contacts by a computer on icloud.com. Go to icloud.com and check to see if your contacts are still there.

Last update 5.1 drains battery. And why first post was deleted?

Just the next day after updated smartwatch3 battery was holding for some hours and then went down to 0 in 1 or 2 hours, happened at work, in just about 7 hours there was no battery, second day (today) the same thing happened.Android wear battery view dont say what drains it so fast. Why are posts now showing?

Sent messages on my Mac OX'S 10.8.2 are disappearing. I forward mail from Yahoo to my Mac, and sent messages show for a few days on both then disappear. How do I keep ALL sent messages on my Mac until I choose the ones I want to delete ?

Let me understand better the problem:
You have an Yahoo account on a computer and on your Mac. Than you have an iCloud account.
iCloud account sincs perfectly and you get the same messages and the also the sent items on both computers.
iCloud account is an IMAP account.
The problem is with the Yahoo account, which I suppose is a POP3 account.
With POP3 the sent messages do not sync, they remain only in the computer you used to write them.
You wrote you forward the Yahoo messages to you: this means your iCloud accout receives a copy of the sent message, and this should be in the incoming mail, not in the sent.
I believe you know the difference between IMAP and POP3 and the fact that it is something which you cannot select but is is or not offerend by the mail provider.
With POP3 there could be a chance to find the sent message on the server, if you setup the mail service to keep the sent messages on the server. I do not know if Yahoo aloow you to connect to the server with a browser and use what is called WebMail.
Have I understood the problem ot here is still something to clear ?
