Why some albums cover does not show in coverflow mode?

even when i sync my albums with its cover, when i turn to coverflow mode some of them does not appear and i dont know why

If you don't have PS, or don't want to fire it up, DW offers a couple simple graphics editing options: Brightness/Contrast, Sharpness, Resample and Crop...
Click the image in Design View
Go to Modify > Image > Crop
An alert will tell you that what you are doing will modify the original, the only choice is "OK"
Click and drag the handles to select the area to crop to
Hit Enter/Return and the image will be cropped
You can use the normal Undo in DW to change it back if you goof it up.

Some album art does not show!!!

Running iTunes 8 and have converted my whole CD collection using Easy CD Extractor. The files are converted to AAC+ and are easily imported into iTunes using the Add Folder... BUT the funny thing is that when I then try to import album arts which I have scanned from my CD:s original covers there are some albums that will not show even if I am using exactly the same procedure for every other imported song, the same file format (jpeg), same resolution and size How is it possible that a few of my albums will not show any album art even if they are processed exactly the same way as all the other CD:s in my collection??? I have tried both drag and drop, as well as doing it from within the "Info... dialogue".

Thanks Katrina, I did try this (or part of it before I saw your link to the excellent article on how to do this properly). But I have a couple of problems with this explanation (which could still be correct). First when I was iTunes in Vista in "normal"-mode, I was still able to add album arts to most of my albums (all comming from my CD:s, ripped with the same software, etc) and residing in the same folder (Music)... So how is it possible that SOME of my music files are "locked", and as you suggest, read-only, and some are not??? This might still be "correct", it is possible, but then it is clearly a bug in Vista. Secondly I am the only user of this computer, logged in as an Adminstrator. Still, Vista could of course mark some of my music files as read only, but I still concider that as a bug on the Vista part.
What is even more annoying is that iTunes did not notified me that it could add the album art, it just didn't without explanation, the same did TagScanner. Only MP3Tag did give me feed back that it could not write the album art to the file. I assume it would not be such a difficult task to add a feature to iTunes that will notify the user that it is unable to add album art because of this and that, and suggest (like you did) a way to solve the problem...

Also try this...go to the project properties for the View project. Look at the JSF Libraries and remove the two JSF libraries and then re-add them....this sometimes helps.

Album Cover/Title not showing in the List for an Artist with one album.

Hello all.
I have browsed a number of the posts, but nothing close to my particular problem.
I am new to iPod Classic (a couple of months). I like it! Used to be a Creative Zen Vision:M user.
Here is my issue.
I have most of the covers for my albums. Still looking for a few.
When I go to the Artist's menu and pick an artist, if it has more than one album, it shows 'All Songs' and a list of albums with covers, album name and number of songs on a separate screen. You click an album and it shows the tracks, you click a track and away you go. That works just fine.
However, when the Artist only has one album, it does not show the album cover, name and number of songs on a separate screen. It just shows the list of tracks. I would like it to be consistent. I would like to see the album cover/name before I click the tracks to start.
I have worked all my songs in iTunes. I'm pretty sure there is no difference between the one and multiple album artists.
Of course when you click a track to start, the album cover shows on the Now Playing screen.
Is there some sort of setting I might have missed.
Any thoughts on this? What might I try?

I'm not questioning your answer. Just want to make sure before I say OK and let it be. I had heard that iTunes/iPod forces you to do things their way, this is an example, I guess!

Album artwork does not show on iphone 4

Does anyone have any solutions of why when you sync your iphone 4 the album artwork does not show in your play lists? This has happened since I have updated to the ISO.5.0.1? Any ideas? Thanks.

Which version of Edge are you using?
Please update to the latest version of Edge which is 2014.1.1 if it's not already, and then try to reproduce this issue.

Album Art does not show up when using shuffle.

When I turn on shuffle in my 80gb Classic the album art does not show up.
It is about 50/50 some songs will show art and some will not. The art that did not show up the last time I shuffled will show up this time. It is not consistant. When I am not in shuffle the art always shows up just fine.
Anyone having this problem? Any ideas on how to stop this from happening? Thanks, Robert

You might also recreate your iTunes library on your computer... and then when you connect your iPod you should be presented with a dialogue asking you to erase & sync the iPod. Click the erase & sync button (provided your songs are still in iTunes).

Album art does not show on iPod

Only the album art from Apple Store purchase is showing up on my iPod. Any art that I imported to iTunes for my own cd's does not show on the iPod. Some of the art came from the Apple "get album art" some I got off the net.

Try to disable album art on your iPod, then sync it,
then enable artwork again, sync it again and it
should be okay...assuming all the album art appears
in iTunes.
I've had this same problem and it's worked for me.
I manually add songs onto my Ipod and then delete them from Itunes.
Wouldn't syncing my Ipod erase all the songs that are currently on it only adding what is currently in my Itunes Library?

Have you found a solution yet? I don’t know if I will be of any help but I was curious and no one else has chimed in yet.
I don’t quite understand all of your statement.
To clarify, you were making SimpleSave backups from Win95 and cannot see them all on the Win7 laptop?
Or
You were copying files over (SimpleSave utility not used) and you cannot see those files on Win7 but you can on the Win95 machine?
Do you have another Win7 machine you could connect the external to, to see if the files are still not showing (one that is not locked for work)?
On the drive that shows full, can you see it in Disk Management showing the correct size of the drive and also another CD drive? Not your real CD/DVD drive, it’s actually a CD emulator that is attached to the HDD for encrypting the backups and all SimpleSave’s have them.
Lastly, did you reformat the SimpleSave drive to Fat32 first?
My understanding is that USB support was quite limited on Win95 machines. Since Win95 is Fat32 and the SimpleSave drive is by default NTFS, I would think it would not work.

Artwork or album art does not show??

I have 2 PC's running iTunes 6;
W2K SP4 running 6.0.4.2
XP SP2 running 6.0.5.20
On the W2K machine when I go to Edit/Show Artwork the artwork box opens up as expected in the lower left hand corner and when I highlight a track an image showing a dotted outline and the words 'Drag album artwork here' appears in the artwork window.
This works with no problems.
On the XP machine when I go to Edit/Show Artwork the artwork box opens up but when I highlight a track the 'Drag artwork image here' does not show and I am unable to drag an image there.
If I right-click the track and Get Info/Artwork I can either drag or browse for an image which will then show up in the Get Info/Artwork window.
However this image however can't be saved and does not show in the Show Artwork box afterwards.
Have I missed something fundamental?

I thought I had sorted it but it was too good to be true...
When I clicked the small play gadget in the Show Artwork window in the bottom left of the iTunes window the text in it's titlebar changed from 'Now Playing' to 'Selected Song' and the 'Drag Album Artwork Here' text with squared, dotted line appeared.
I then dragged my artwork into it and it showed - yay!
However when I right-clicked on the track and chose 'Get Info' the artwork didn't show there although it was still in the Show Artwork window.
And when I moved off the highlighted track to the next track and and went back the artwork had gone from the Show Artwork window.
What the **** is going on here?

Album Art does not show when you Manually Manage your ipod

I currently have a 80gb ipod using itunes7 and when i add mp3s with artwork to my ipod manually the artwork does not appear. the option to display album artwork is one. if i change the settings so that my ipod syncs with itunes, and i drag the same mp3 to my library (then sync the ipod), the artwork will then appear.
the artwork does appear when i right click on the song and "get info"
i have already tried disabling then re-enabling the "display album artwork" setting. when enabled i waited for the "optimizing artwork" for quite a bit, disconnected and there was still no artwork showing.
is there a setting i am missing or is this just a bug? using the library is NOT an option for me.

I've had the same issue -- but you'll find when you disconnect the iPod and try to play the albums on your iPod itself that the artwork is actually there on the iPod. It just doesn't show in iTunes when you select info on particular songs on your iPod.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings

I've just upgraded to FireFox 25.0 and I have issues viewing Google ads and Facebook comments and likes on my website (wellfitstyle.com). Album art does not show up??

I have a 30gb ipod photo and its wierd.. i sent it in for repair cause of an unrelated issue but now when i update my ipod... the album art doesnt show up for some songs even though its physically there on my computer and the art checkbox is checked. i have too much music on my computer for my ipod so i update via playlist, the only conclusion i could ammount to is that i am using Smart playlists but even the songs that show the art are from the smart playlists. i dont know what i should do? if anybody can help me it would be amazing!

You may want to uncheck that box you refer to, click okay, and eject your iPod. Then go back and recheck the box.
If this doesn't work, you may want to restore...

Why XI's SLD does not show?

We have an XI (PI7) system, when trying to access the SLD:

after hitting "enter", it changes to
http://<FQDN>:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcsldwd~main/Main
Then the browser shows blank and the bottom message bar shows
"done".
We have the FQDN maintained in the hosts file on the testing PC.
How to bring it up?

When you access the Java Stack through the internet browser, can you get to any functionality (something like http://<FQDN>:50000/index.html)? Is this something new or did this work in the past but is now not working? Is this a new install, upgrade or have other changes been applied recently?
