For the bookmarks that open in the sidebar, right-click on the bookmark and select Properties. De-select the option "Load this bookmark in the sidebar"

If your computer won't turn on, try each of these steps:
Verify you have a good connection from your Mac to the wall outlet by confirming the power cord and adapter if present are securely connected and plugged in. To check if the wall outlet is working, plug in a lamp or other electrical device.
If the wall outlet is working and you continue to have no power try another power cord or adapter if available. If it works you may need a replacement cord or adapter.

Disconnect all accessories that are plugged in to the computer, such as a printer, hub, or other mobile device.

Side-bar Window - "Quick Pool" alike

Hello everyone,
I´m glad to be a newbie in SAP EP. I´m learning a lot!
I have a question involving the role "Standard User Role". When applied to the user, he can see a new menu called "Home".
Under the "Home", we have other submenus, the first one being "Company".
Under "Company" there is also "News".
As you can see, this enabled the Quick Pool, that is displayed not in the normal portal frame, but together with "Detailed Navigation" and "Portal Favorites".
My question is, how can I do this. I mean, how can I put an iView in the side-bar frame, and not in the 'normal frame'?

Ricardo,
Geneally the Name of the iview which shows the quickpoll is Dynamic Navigation" iView. This is iView is located under Navigation area/navigation panel (ie.of Left side portal page). The area which shows the Ivew in the middle is called portal content area. Its very much possible to relocate the current quick poll ivew into content area.
You can navigate to the framework page to see the settings:-
Portal Admin -> Portal Content -> Open Default FrameWork Page assigned to your current theme -> Select the check box "Desktop Inner Page" -> Press Open Button -> The Quick Poll is " Dynamic Navigation" - com.sap.portal.dynamicNavigationArea" .

Open the General tab of the Safari preferences and correct the home page; the default page is this one. If it has become set to a folder on an FTP server or a local drive, that request will be sent to the Finder. (28252)

There are some keyboard commands (shortcuts) you can use instead of having to go to the Apple menu -
Control-Eject          This brings up the Restart-Sleep-Cancel-Shutdown window.
Command-Option-Eject          This puts the machine to sleep.
Command-Control-Eject          This closes all apps and restarts the machine.
Command-Option-Control-Eject          This closes all apps and shuts the machine down.

After clicking "yes" to the question "do you want to update itunes now", i waited 2 hours and 15 minutes and it was still "loading". i turned computer off thinking something was wrong. now itunes won't open at all. do i need to download itunes again?

Did you actually download the installer from Apple or did you use Software Update. You can download the installer http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I would consider repairing permissions first using Disk Utility because something caused this to go wrong the first time. And of course make a backup of your whole library first. It shouldn't happen but some have complained about their libraries being wiped out by iTunes updates. Better safe...

I don't download very much to my tv, I do sometimes if I'm in bed but usually I do it from itunes. However if you have not fully downloaded something to the tv it is possible to start the download from itunes as well, you have likely activated 'check for downloads fin itunes in some way, could be by opening itunes, selecting 'check or downloads' from the advanced menu or that you simply have automatically check for downloads set in your prefs and it has checked coincidentally.

Claire, please post your machine specs as requested. There are some variants of the MBP with specific hardware issues. Example: the older "silver key" MBPs with 2.2Ghz and faster processors can have a defective video chipset that produces a black screen or distorted video. That problem is covered under an Apple program that will fix this at no cost to you if you computer is that model.
Do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu and, in the resulting window, click the "More Info..." button. That launches System Profiler for you. The first screen looks like this:
The second line, "Model Identifier" (or "Machine Model" if you are running OS10.4) precisely identifies your MBP variant. Post that, and include it in your equipment info in your profile for future posts. That means people don't have to ask, and you get faster help that is targeted to your specific model. Saves everybody a bunch of keystrokes and you get better advice.

POSTURL opening PHP in new window (and shouldn't)

We are calling a PHP file from Authorware 7. Originally,
nothing would
happen when the php file was called and the server would time
out and act as
though the php file could not be found (with a 5006 error).
But we finally
realized that it wanted to open the php file in a new window
- with a popup.
We are using a normal posturl:
temp2 :=PostURL(NetLocation^"gSysSet.php","",30)
All the php file has in it is 1 line with a echo command.
Does anyone know why the php would open in its own window?
There was a posting earlier about POSTurl and php and we have
checked the
same things that they had in the php.ini file, but cannot
make it just
execute from Authorware and return a result - instead of
returning the
result in a new window. What happens is we still get the 5006
error in
Authorware because the result is returned in a new window and
opened in a
new window so Authorware isn't really communicating with the
php file.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The pdf is loading as html code. If you save it, it will download as :
605124.pdf.html
Change the extension to .pdf
And it opens and works perfectly, I just tested it:
