Why some widget got big itself?
Hi,
I don´t know what happened but suddenly all widgets (named as World Clock Widget) became big. All other apps on pages remained same sizes as before so they didn´t get affected. I tried to add some more of those World Clock Widgets and they stayed normal size as they should. Also when I moved those big widgets to another page they still remained big so they didn´t get back to normal size. This thing is so strange - I´m not really used to fight with phones. I expect them to stay as I set them - I don´t really like that they are changing without my will.
I also tried to sign in to this forum with Z3 but it gave me this message "Request Entity Too Large - The requested resource/t5/Xperia-Z3-Z3-Dual/bd-p/xperia_z3 does not allow request data with GET request, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit." WHAT?? No power enough to handle my user name and password in order to sign in to this forum :-( ?? I tried many times but same message appers everytime... Fortunately, my 4 year old Mac Book Pro has still some juice to handle that much that I could sign in with it and post this issue....

I succeeded to get those widgets back to their normal size. I used that famous Windows fixing method so just turn off the power and restart the phone :-( !! One more restarting and I go back to iPhone - my iPhone 5 had over 100 apps on for over 6 months without any single problem. Why so many were on? Because I didn´t know that they were still on as I couldn´t see them on the dispaly - my friend found it and told me why I have so many apps on...That tells something about iPhones - they really work.

Some Widget does not work after latest upgrade
Today is July 23rd, 2011. By recent latest upgrade, mainly for supporting Lion, where I am still using Snow Leopard 10.6.8, some widget does not work, including Battery Meter, Digital Clock Alarm, Victoria Digital Clock, etc.
By the way, my company use Chatter and I installed Chatter Desktop. Again, after recent upgrade, it no longer work anymore.
Do you experience the same problem?
For those who has upgraded to Lion, do you also find some widget does not work?I have read a couple of complaints like that, but not sure it's widespread.

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
If that does NOT help, Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, test if things work OK in Safe Mode.
Then move these files to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.recentitems.plist
Reboot & test.
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.
If that does NOT help then I suspect the optical drive or media itself, or possibly just needs a cleaning CD run on it. -

4. Visit http://my-site.com/scripts/form_check.php in a web browser and make sure you see all green checkmarks. If some items do not display green checkmarks that means that the hosting server is not configured correctly to allow the Form widgets to send email messages to the address you've specified.
Contact your web-hosting provider about the server configuration problem. Describe the items that are not marked as green in the form check page, so that they can help you set up the servers to use the correct settings.

Where did you purchase this. The US phones do not come with the SIM removal tool anymore. They haven't for some time now. I'm not even sure it comes with any of the devices anymore. You can just straighten out a paper clip and do the same thing.

Hi.i really need to know why some iphone 5s lose wi-fi or bluetooth comminucations after a while?!? i just charged it with my iphone 4's adapter,it can be the reason?!?!?!?! i dont think so....
It would help to have more details about when your phone loses wi-fi or bluetooth.
When an iPhone locks itself it turns Wi-fi off. I haven't had any problems with bluetooth turning off.
You might try restarting the phone. Double tap the home button to open the multitasking drawer, tap and hold on any icon in the drawer until the icons start to jiggle, tap the X that appears on the upper corner of each icon to shut them all down. Press the Home button to close the drawer. Then hold the sleep/wake button down and wait for the Slide to Power Off slider appears. Slide it and wait for the phone to shut down. Wait a few seconds and then press and hold the sleep/wake button again until the Apple logo appears and the phone restarts.
You can also reset your network settings, go to Settings => General => Reset Network Settings. You will have to reconnect and enter passwords for any wi-fi networks that you normally connect to after you do this.

You can name it something other than index, but will be harder to find. when you create the subjects and link to them, they can can be named anything with the html extension Or if your using PHP end in .php. There is a Microsoft type asp or aspx but your hosting service has to set up using windows server system.
My hosting service use a Linux server normally but can convert Windows for a Fee. UNIX Linux has no concept of asp or aspx.

we are running 3 batches parallel(a.ksh,b.ksh,c.ksh parallel ) .if a.ksh will complete then d.ksh will start('d' start when 'a' will terminate successfully) and we have to handle error for all jobs ( if some job got aborted during runtime) ?

Some water got into my iPhone4 and now the home button is having issues. Is there a fix for this?
As the title says, my home button is having issues that started after some water got into my iPhone4. It takes about twenty attempts before it will register that I hit the home button. It is not under warranty anymore. Any help or suggestions on how to fix the problem would be appreciated. Thanks

If it is damage you will be charged for the replacement since the warranty does not cover damage.

OS X Mavericks v10.9.4 Update was supposed to fix the wifi connectivity problem with my iMac. Wifi disconnects in sleep mode and does not connect when awakened. Must reconnect manually every time. PITA.
