Why STO is blocking in GTS ?

I have several STO which is blocking repeatedly in GTS even though STO is taking place within the same countries with different legal entities. It's very time consuming during month end to release manually. Can you please help me on this what could be the issue ?
Appreciate if you can confirm at the earliest.

Lets say example is for SPL:-
Go to SPRO->SAP Compliance Management->SPL Screening Service->Activate Legal Regulation->
Now select your legal regulation (lets say ZZSPL) and then double click on the country/country group folder in the left side.
Here you can see all the country list which are activated for your legal regulation.
If its for Country US - In the SPL import active/SPL export active, {select from the drop down select} 3: Check: receipt/import (excluding domestic)/ 3: Check: dispatch/exports (excluding domestic)
You can also chose to do it for all the levels of compliance management: embargo/spl/legal control.

Because doing so is not supported - primariy since the iPhone's baseband is often updated or changed with a firmware update. Since 4.3.4 addressed a potential security issue involving the download of a PDF document from a nefarious website, what is the reason for wanting to downgrade to 4.3.3?

Because Apple doesn't do extensive testing with every single app. Apple primarily checks apps not accessing any private iPhone API's for security reasons, apps do not violate Apple's terms of use for the app store, and the app does what is says it does - based on the detailed description provided by the developer for the app. Just as Microsoft has never thoroughly tested or done any testing at all for every single 3rd party Windows app, Apple doesn't do any thorough app testing - that is the app developer's responsbility - no different for 3rd party apps on your computer.

With many apps, there is a free version and a paid version. You can try the free version first if available before purchasing the paid version.

Why queues get blocked in XI

I have observed thet queues in XI get blocked even though there is no error.
When I unlock it , Queues get cleared.
Please let me know why queues get blocked .

Queues might get blocked to various reasons.
The reasons i can think of are:
1) Contention for resources : If there is a contention for resources like memory, the first message of the queue gets blocked, causing subsequent messages to be blocked as well.
2) Huge messages: HUge payloads choke the queues.
3) Receiving system processing the messages slower than the sending system.

A new version of Flash Player (12.0.0.44) was released earlier this week and it appears Safari is now blocking older versions of the plugin. Please upgrade to the latest version. It is recommended to first uninstall Flash Player, and then install the latest version.

Google reads your emails, in case you did not know that. Unless you are sending an email containing content Google can extract and add to its vast database of personal information, Google has no use for it.
Google Mail is becoming progressively useless. It won't accept .zip attachments, at least not the last time I tried, it will eventually prevent you from using an email client unless you visit their web mail interface, and it will disable your account if you attempt to log in from someplace Google deems is not where Google thinks you ought to be.
Gmail is worth every cent you paid.
Get rid of MacKeeper. It is capable of doing nothing beneficial and will only cause problems.

Finding Duplicates - why did they block entry to the iphoto folder?

Why is there no duplicate search like there is in itunes? Why did they block the iphoto folder so I can't use other programs to find dupes? Why do I have to have another set of pictures every time I update to the next ilife?
I just want to have a quick search and delete to get rid of dupe files in iphoto without going through one at a time. Anyone have any ideas in '08?

Because there are many reasons why users might want duplicates. But if you have a duplicate issue try using Duplicate Annihilator.

Block PGR if PO is blocked in GTS

Hi Experts,
with ref to a blocked PO in GTS when we do PGR via MIGO, my expectation is that the PGR should be blocked.
Currently we are doing upgrade of GTS system from 8.0 to 10.1 & ECC upgrade from previous R/3
What we see is in old system PGR is getting blocked, but in case of ECC we dont get any block and PGR is allowed.
Can some one please suggest if this is a standard functionality in ECC / GTS10.1 or do we need to changes in BADI for same.
Please find below details with my analysis and probable root cause
FM /SAPSLL/CD_STATUS_GET
is getting called under MIGO.
In Release4.6 C under FM: /SAPSLL/CD_STATUS_GET another FM CALL FUNCTION 'SLL_LEG_CDPIR3_001' is being called to get the value for flag CUSRV_r3 lsmes_r3, idxrc_r3.

Once the FM execute code control checks whether the doc
should be blocked for PGR or not.
However in case of ECC once the FM executes there is call
for BADI MM0A,then it checks whether the
doc should be blocked for PGI or not.
It seems BADI should not be called in case of PGR because
this BADI should only be triggered when we are changing the PO. Triggering the
BADI results in clearing the flag gs_transfer-cusrv_r3 due to which blocking of
Document while PGR is not done hence it allows to do PGR although it should be
blocked.

FM /SAPSLL/CD_STATUS_GET has been updated with following OSS note:
1936839 - BAdI interface and user exit function module EXIT_SAPLSLL_LEG_CDPIR3_001 are not used consistently
In my opinion, this update is a good news as now FM /CD_STATUS_GET is consistent in terms of user-exit and BADI (before the update, only the user-exit was called within the FM). I had struggled in the past due this non-consistency.
From you post, I understand that you have implemented the BADI /SAPSLL/IF_EX_CTRL_MM0A_R3.
After OSS note 1936839 is implemented in ECC, the BADI implementation will be called within following 2 FMs:
- /SAPSLL/CD_MM0A_R3 (Transfer of PO to GTS)
- /SAPSLLCD_STATUS_GET (Retrieval of document status in GTS)
As the BADI is consistently called for the 2 FMs, hence the transfer of the PO and the status retrieval of the PO status are consistent too: either no PO goes to GTS or the PO goes to GTS and you can get its status.
As you have done an ECC and GTS upgrade, I would recommend that you test with a brand new PO to check this consistency.

Why is Call Block not available?????

I've started getting these harrasing political phone calls from the same number. In the past,
I remember that I could use Call Block (*60) to block them. I now see that the feature is
"no longer available to new customers". So how do I keep these cretins from ringing my phone????
I subscribe to Freedom Essentials, so I have Caler ID, Forwarding, and Voice mail. I never noticed
that they don't mention Call Block now.

There's always the Do Not Call List but unfortunately politicians are exempt. Like how they write the laws to suit their needs????
You could check with your states public utilities commission or verizon to see why it is no longer being offered.

Why to open Block only with Dense dimension Member ???

I want to understand the logic behind opening the block with dense member. Generally we open the block with member of dense dimension by fixing the sparse members
e.g. below considering C1, P1,Working,Actual are members of sparse dimension customer, product, Version, Scenario.

Now if i change the code as below making Jan in FIX and opening the block with Actual. How it will affect the performance. The Number of iterations in total number of datacells will be same in bothe cases above and below then why to give priority to dense dimension member for opening the block.

I know the logic behind keeping sparse dimension member in FIX but here i think keeping 'Actual' member for opening the block is also a type of fix which will tell the code to do the calculation only for blocks of 'Actual'.
In 1st case i have fixed the number of blocks containing members C1,P1,Working,Actual and by keeping Jan for opening block means Jan is also fixed for the particular application means code will not run for feb march etc.
Means code will run for C1->P1->Working>Actual->Jan
In 2nd case also i have fixed C1,P1,Working,Jan and by keeping Actual for opening block means Actual is also fixed for the particular application means code will not run for other members of Scenarion dimension.
Means code will run for C1->P1->Working>Jan->Actual
Then what is the difference??? Why it will effect performance???

when using an IF statement in a calc script you have to specify a member to associate it with for the calc member block. This is like temporarily assigning it to that member as a formula in the outline. In most cases calculations on dense dimensions can work faster as the block is in memory. Remember that a block statement can have multiple calculation statements in it. When this occurs, having the calculations on a dense member can speed it up as it may not have to swap blocks to do the calculation.
Also consider that if a sparse combination of members does not exist, the block will not exist and there will be no attempt to do the calculations. If a sparse member is on the calc member block, it will cycle through all of the sparse members looking to do the calculation.
