Why the color labels of my mails disappear?

Disappear the color labels which I mark some of my messages. When I reopen the program they do not exist.

labels are synchronised to the server for imap mail accounts. Unfortunately older server software does not support the feature and the labels are removed instead of synchronised.
If you mail account is checked on say a 15 minute schedule then the labels will also disappear every 15 minutes if my assumption is correct.

  • Why doesn't the "Command Number" keyboard shortcut apply the colored label to the selected image?

Why doesn't the "Command Number" keyboard shortcut apply the colored label to the selected image?  The similar keyboard shortcut to assign stars works, but the shortcut to assign a label color doesn't?

Just to be sure they haven;t been reassigned in your Aperture go to Aperture->Commands->Customize then in the search box in the upper right hand corner enter color.
You should see the keyboard shortcuts and the corresponding add label commands.
If they are set then quit Aperture move you preference file to the desktop and restart Aperture. The instructions for moving the preference file can be found at Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics

  • Do the colored flags/ categories in mail transition between mobile devices?

Do the colored flags/ categories in mail transition between mobile devices? I haven't seen anything that seems like it would allow me to flag different mail items on my iphone to reflect the colored flags in mail that I have categorized on my iMac. I find that I have to go through twice to categorize my flagged mail with the colors I've designated on my iMac if it's flagged from my iPhone.
    Thanks.

I had the same issue, but with a macbook pro, imac, ipad and iphone 4G.
everything worked fine until the addition of the iPhone 4G which made disappear mails that had been donwloaded/synced by the iphone and/or ipad.
    However I found a solution:
In mail right click (ctrl left click) on the specific IMAP account inbox and select rebuilt.

  • Is there any way to get Mini Bridge to show the color labels that are set in Bridge and/or Lightroom

Is there any way to get Mini Bridge to show the color labels that are set in Bridge and/or Lightroom?
I am using Cloud InDesign CS6 on Windows 7.

You will need to go via your computer's iTunes - to get music into the Music app you either need to download it directly on the iPad from the iTunes store app, or sync it from your computer's iTunes

  • Why doesn't Bridge recognize the color labels I've applied to images in Lightroom?

I used to mark images yellow in LR if I needed to do further work on them in Photoshop.  Once exported as jpegs, I'd open them in Bridge and sort for color labels.  In the last year or so, Bridge stopped seeing those labels.  It doesn't work in CS4 or CS6.

Thank you for your prompt response, Victoria!   I did what you said and made the labels match.  I then restarted both Bridge and LR and exported a file as a test.  It didn't work.  The image marked with a label in LR shows no label in Bridge.  I even restarted the computer and it still doesn't work.  Is there something else I can try?

  • Color labels in Apple Mail?

Hi, I use Apple Mail with multiple accounts (pop, imap) and I'd like to know if there's a way to assign a color label in order to have a better managment of my inbox. Is it possible?
    Thanks

This can be done via scripts.

  • Why the color mismatch when exported key to mov?

Keynote colors are rich and bright, but get all dull when exported to a mov.
Anyone know why this happens, or better yet have a solution?

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply.  No, I haven't converted any color images from RGB to CYMK.  The original graphic file was made as RGB.  The colored box in PM7 is set to the Color Options of:
    Type: Spot
    Model: RGB
    (R 255, G 0, B 0)
As said, in PM7 the two red objects look identical in colour tinting etc on the screen, and you can't tell the difference.  But when the doc is converted to PDF the difference is obvious.
After posting to this forum last night (Australian time), I wondered if it had something to do with dot resolution.  The graphic file is 300 dpi, whereas the red PM box is filled with color that may be at a much lower DPI, causing a dullness in the color.  I assume the PM 7 default for this can't be altered. Maybe there is a setting in Distiller that could handle this, so that the colors are equalised.
The solution I'm currently using is to remove the box (or oblong) containing PM's RGB Red, then make another graphic file which is RGB Red (either at 300 dpi or 200 dpi, either TIFF or JPG, it doesn't matter), of the same page size as the PM doc, then place it onto the page and send it to the back so that everything else sits on top of it.  When converted to PDF you now can't tell the difference between the RGB Red in both graphics.
I'm happy with the result, but it's a workaround.
    Thanks,
    Roger3

  • Since Lion upgrade, can not change the colored label of my HD in the Finder

... the "Macintosh HD" icon has the Label section grayed out when I select 'Get Info'.
I can only change the color of the USB attached disks.
Also, before the upgrade to Lion, I was able to assign colored labels to the attached network shares, in Snow Leopard; now I can see the label colors I've assigned when using Snow L. by I can not modify then anymore...
    Any ideas?
    Thank you in advance.

    Thank you for the reply.
Lock was closed. It open after authentication, but the word "Label" is still gray and can not select a color label.
On the "Sharing and Permissions" have the folowing:

      "system - Read & Write"
      "wheel - Read only"

  • Why the new QuickType in iOS 8 disappear suddenly?

Early today, the new QuickType feature in iOS 8 on my iPhone 5 worked well. However, later, this new impressive feature desapperaed all of a sudden. I cannot figure out why.

  • Why the colors look so different betweet my Camera Raw and Bridge?

We know that after editing images in Camera Raw, thumbnails in Bridge will updated according to the new xmp files.
However, for some of my Raw files, the colors look very different in Bridge after makeing adjustments in Camera Raw, I can see more red in those phoots. But when I reopen the file in Camera Raw, all the colors are just correct.
For those photos without applying xmp files the colors looks exactly the same in Camera Raw and Bridge.
Does this means that my Camera Raw and Bridge use different color space? How can I fix this problem? Thank you

If you want help, you need to specify your platform (Mac or Windows), the exact versions of your Operating System, Photoshop, ACR plug-in and Bridge.
Also look at your Bridge preferences and tell us what you have your Thumbnail preferences set to.
Re-setting your preferences and purging the cache would also help.  It could be something as simple as a corrupt cache.
Bridge is Color Managed, but it does not use a color space of its own.  It applies the color space with which each image is tagged, it assigns sRGB to untagged files.
When was the last time you calibrated and profiled your monitor?
    Details would help.

  • Colors Question: why the colors of my applet semm darker ...

Well, the title almost says it all.
I developed my applet using some colors. Also, i use a LAF (plastic 3D LAF) and the problem is that my applet when launched from Internet Explorer has this darker view.
What can i do?Maybe set the colors originally more brighter?
    Thank you,
    Chris

Depends on the colour depth of the graphics modes.
Eg. if you develop and view your colours in a 32-bit true colour machine, it should look good.
If you run it on a low-end PC with a graphics mode of only 256 colours, then Windows automatically tries to find the nearest and best matched colour within a limited palette of 256 colours.
it's called "realising the palette" I think.
On top of that, each computer screen will have different contrast, brightness and "gamma correction" settings.
    regards,
    Owen

  • Why is the color labels function disabled by Mavericks?

Technical question: [“these forums are meant for technical questions that can be answered by the community.”] How does one communicate to Apple that they have done a great injustice to some life-long customers? Why is it necessary for programmers to disable one perfectly functioning feature in order to add another?  Should not programmers adhere to a basic code of ethics: first, DO NO HARM?
I know this is a bad analogy but…  Apple has removed a perfectly function kidney and there response is to say, “Sorry but we are all going to die sometime.”

Should not programmers adhere to a basic code of ethics: first, DO NO HARM?
If that were the case, we would still have punch paper tape, and 80 column punch cards, and 8" floppy disks, plus the 5.25 floppy disks, and the 3.5" floppy disks, RS-232 serial ports, SCSI ports, built in modems, etc....
Apple has never taken the position that something is Sacred.  They were the first to throw away RS-232 ports.  They were the first to throw away floppy disks.  They have abandoned any number of ports on their own equipment ADB, SCSI, Mac video ports by the dozen, VGA, DVI, microVGA, microDVI, Ethernet ports, internal modems, etc...
On the software side there are lots of stuff Apple has stopped developing.  They have done this over and over again.
The Xtrafinder and TotalFinder additions do give you back label behavior, so I suggest looking into them.
Besides the above mentioned feedback link, you can also use Apple's Bug Reporter <http://bugreporter.apple.com>, you do need to get a free Apple developer account, but it is free.

  • Why did Apple change the color labels of folders in 10.9.2?

What's the purpose of a dot when I can't even see them?
THE IDEA is to highlight a folder so you can easily find it.
I'm all for aesthetics but this is a change of practical design. It's annoying.

Also for the bug that iTunes doesn't minimize when I double-click the top edge of the window.
    It isn't a bug, it's a feature.
Actually, I kinda like the improvements to the "miniplayer" thing, even though it isn't the same thing as minimizing the app. The only thing I don't like about the miniplayer is the tiny, hard to hit icon used to toggle it on & off, but if I can just remember the Cmd-Option-M shortcut for that I'm OK with that too.
I wouldn't mind filling out a survey before they (Apple) curtained features.
After hanging around ASC for a few years, I have realized that almost everybody has very different ideas about the usefulness of just about every feature Apple has ever implemented. If Apple listened to users, I suspect we would end up with an OS so bloated it wouldn't even be able to crawl, much less run, on most Macs, & the user preferences alone would have so many options nobody could find the ones they wanted without help.
Actually, I think that may already be happening ... but I'm sure everybody has a different opinion about that, too!
