I'm using an iPad camera connection kit and a MIDI to USB cable to interface a MIDI keyboard with GarageBand. It works flawlessly... until I use the sustain pedal. Once the pedal is depressed while playing a given note, from then on, the pedal itself plays the note every time it is depressed. It's not the keyboard or the pedal. I've tried others. That leaves the app or the connection between the iPad and the keyboard. I find it hard to believe I'm the only person who is experiencing this problem. Anyone have a fix?

Yes. There are a ton of write-ups on how to do the connections. I connect my m-audio Keystation 61 es through the CCK to my iPad and use GarageBand to control it. Some keyboards require a powered USB hub to make things work. I use a belkin 4 port hub in my own setup. I have the same problem, my girl-friend saved a bigger Gigabyte library from her old laptop before she sold it, then at some point she realized that she couldn't play many songs that she had transfered. Now, I paid those 30 quid as well, and it doesn't play 99% of the files, that is very frustrating, is there any way you got it revived?

I purchased a blu-ray of The Hunger Games and it came with a code for a digital copy. I redeemed the code on iTunes but the download has been continuing for 2 weeks now and it never finishes! The time just keeps going up. Never an issue in the past.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute/unmute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via control centre (the left-hand end of the taskbar if not on iOS 7) : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). Why are photos I deleted from Camera Roll re-appearing in CR when I put them into Albums from Photo Stream?

Last night I deleted some photos from my Camera Roll (on iPhone 3GS) using cable connection to my PC. I then went to Photo Stream (the photos were, correctly, still in there) and put some of them in Albums in the Photos app. Some, but not all, have now re-appeared in Camera Roll - and, very unhelpfully, not in the order they were taken. I don't want these photos in Camera Roll but can vaguely accept and understand if the app HAS to copy the Photo Stream photos to Camera Roll if you put them in Albums and they are not in Camera Roll already but then why are there 2 photos (in different Albums) that this is not happening for?
Any ideas/advice?

I connected the iPhone to my PC with the USB sync cable (I usually sync by Wifi) and opened the iPhone as a Windows window. Went to the relevant DCIM folder for the Camera Roll and Deleted them there. I checked on the iPhone before and after sycning that they had been deleted from Camera Roll - and they had. I only have one Camera Roll album (no chance of another album being synced).
They remained deleted from my Camera Roll until I put the copies of the photos held in the Photo Stream album (which I purposely did not delete them from) into an album. They then appeared in my Camera Roll again. Now, if I delete them from Camera Roll again (either direct from iPhone Photo app or via USB cable) they still reappear in my Camera Roll if I put them in an album from Photo Stream. I can see it happen before my eyes as each one appears after I have selected the photos from Photo Stream, used Share to put them in an album and then go to Camera Roll - they pop up one at a time.
It would make sense to some extent except that there are two photos (in two separate albums to the ones that are reappearing) that have definitely been deleted from the Camera Roll, have been put in their respective albums from Photo Stream but are not reappearing in Camera Roll. And, as far as I know, I did exactly the same things with them. I don't want to have the photos back in my Camera Roll but I cannot find any explanation as to why one set is appearing back in Camera Roll and these two are not.

I have recently purchased a canon powershot sx150 and the ipad camera connector kit. When I load my sd card into the connector my ipad will act as if it transferring pictures, but the photos are never fully downloaded. I was able to download a few pictures but not all. Help please.

Try closing the Photos app completely and see if you can copy all the photos when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Photos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Photos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The entire DVD containing Quick Time movies (Final CutExpress project) and slideshow was done in iPhoto. The Final Cut project was rendered prior to export to QT, the slideshow was sent to iDVD withoutrendering. The slideshow with most of the pictures from my still camera incombination with stills from movie clips and some downloaded from the Internet.After burning, the movie playback is perfect but the slideshow is not. The slideshow containing 3 differentkinds of pictures; those from my still camera looks OK; the stills from themovie clips and from the Internet are not. I don’t have much knowledge in this game, but I think NTSCwith frame size 720x480, and the downloaded picture Item Property shows most ofthem are between 400 to 500 x 300 to 600, may be both of them are not suitablefor TV screen while the stills from my still camera looks OK because they are2048x1536. You could also try a reset and see if it's recognised after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
I haven't had problems using the kit with SD cards from Canon cameras . What capacity is the card, and it's an SD or SDHC card - if it's an SDXC card that's formatted as ExFAT then it won't be recognised

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
