Why the hell does the flash installer try to install mcafee virus scanner?
I did not come to your website to try to get virus protection, so dont try to push it on me! Thats rediculous! Some not so tech savvy person is going to have a scanner already installed on the computer, try to install flash, and BAM! error BZZT ERROR two antiviruses will be installed, causing errors on the system. My Gosh. I hope you guy\s company fails becuase portable devices dont support flash.

i tried to update mavericks 10.9 to os x yosemite but unfortunately it is was unsuccesfull. it was no any back up before i update. so, here now is the problem i try to install back the mavericks but the computer say "it could not find installation information of this machine or the request timed out"

I just upgraded to PS CS% from PS CS3 Extended. Download went well as well as installation.
After, i deactivate CS3 then i uninstall it using Adobe installer.
Each time, i opened CS5, i have the following message:
"One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop."
I reinstalled it but i'm still having the same message. I didn't play much with it but it seems to work properly...
What could it be?
Regards!The problem most likely is uninstalling an older version after installing the new one.
The Uninstaller removes certain support files which it can't tell are the new ones.
The solution in your case is to uninstall CS5 first, then uninstall CS3, run the Adobe CSClean Script, Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility, only then install CS5, and the Repair Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility again.
All Adobe upgrades are full installers and do not need to find a previous version of the software installed. When they don't find a previous version of the software installed, they'll just prompt you for the old serial number.
It's not mandatory to uninstall older versions, but if you don't want to keep the older versions, uninstall them first, before installing a newer version. I have all versions of Photoshop from 7.0.1 through 11.0.2 ("CS4") happily coexisting on my machine. I can even run two versions of Photoshop simultaneously, just by launching the older version first and assigning separate scratch disk volumes to each.

Flash player try to install at systemstart
Hello, i have an problem after i installed the new version of flashplayer. If i start the AOL-Software, everytime the flash installer starts. It is not important if i click on install or cancel. With every systemstart the installer starts again, even i have the newest Version of flash. I tried to delete the file "FP_AX_CAB_INSTALLER" from windows/downloaded programm files. but this help not. after restart pc, the file is again there. Anyone know how can i stop the installer? Because i have the newest version 10,2,152,26 in all browsers. :-(( Windows XP-HOme, IE 8, Opera 10
Try this
download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html (save to disk);
download the FP installers from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html (save to disk);
close all browser windows and run the downloaded uninstaller;
restart Windows;
go to C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash and delete any reamining files in there;
run the downloaded installers. -
Why is the Flash Installation Web Page Causing IE8 to Hang?
I have a brand new, fresh installation of WinXP SP3 here. Just the OS with the updates and required hardware drivers, IE8, Firefox, Java, AVG Free 8.5 and Comodo with just the firewall enabled. That's it so far.
So now when I go to the "Get Flash Player" page at Adobe it consistently hangs when the gold bar appears to run Adobe DLM. After a few seconds a dialog box appears saying Dr Watson has crashed. At that point the browser is totally hung. Happens every time. I tried doing a full reset of IE8 from its Options-Advanced menu, and also tried accessing the Flash install page after exiting both AVG and Comodo to make sure they weren't causing it, but still no go.
I know I could just download the standalone ActiveX installer and probably get Flash up and running, but since I'm trying to build this machine from scratch to be as bug-free as possible I'd like to get to the bottom of this now so it doesn't continue to be an issue down the road. Any ideas?This problem is becoming more prevelant.
It can be reliably produced by
Install WindowsXP service pack 2 - which includes IE6.
Download, either manually, or by Windows Update, IE8.
Go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Click on download.
The next screen tells you about the warning gold bar which is about to appear.
Either immediately after the bar appears, or immediately before it appears, IE locks up.
Task manager is required to get rid of IE8.
It also occurs, less predictably, with computers which have been upgraded IE6 - IE7 - IE8.
In each case, uninstalling IE8 and reverting to IE6 or 7 allows flash and reader to be installed (both use Adobe DLM, which is the cause of the problem). Shockwave isn't affected, as it uses a different download mechanism.
It is time this was fixed! -

Why the flash player don't work after installing the video downloader add-on?
I've installed and uninstall the Firefox mobile app several times to try and fix this issue. Every time I add the video downloader add-on the flash player won't let me tap to play videos anymore. I've tried to completely enable the flash but still didn't work. I've used this add on for a few months and it worked fine up until the last Firefox update. Without the add-on the flash player works fine but after I've added the video downloader add-on I would have to uninstall and reinstall the mobile spot to get the flash to work again. I really love to use this add-on that's the advantage that Firefox mobile app has over other web browser. Please tell me how I can fix this issue. THANKS

And you can try to disable the add-on, if you don't want to use it . and enable it again if you want to download a video .

Also can i restore my usb flash drive to use it as a regular flash drive again?

Yep, I did get this running. Not in a normal way (meaning the easy way). What I did, is that I just created the BOOTCAMP partition in OS X. Just let it format and create the partition where you would install BOOTCAMP.
After that I discovered that via a ISO program (WinClone) you can directly restore a previously created OS X boot image to your current computer. So, I installed a blank Windows 7 to my macbook pro, didint install any drivers and just let it work up then. Then I went back to os X (in macbook pro) and made a bootimage for the BOOTCAMP partition. After that I saved it to my external harddrive and wired it to my iMac. In iMac I just downloaded the same boot-image program and restored the bootimage that I made in Macbook Pro to iMac. After that I made an restart and the bootcamp section with windows worked well with my iMac. Install the bootcamp soft and you can do everything and everything works. FYI, you get the windows working via those steps, BUT if you either delete or do anything to make your bootcamp partition unworkable then you will have to repeat those steps again. But it´s fast non-the-less, so it shouldn´t be a problem for you.

Uninstall Google Chrome from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
IF you are not satisfied with the Windows Add/Remove Programs Uninstaller, you can use some other Uninstaller softwares like Revo Uninstaller (Free version or PRO version), IObit Uninstaller etc, to Completely Remove Google Chrome.

Use these software to Uninstall Google Chrome, Scan for leftover files after the Uninstallation and then Delete all leftover files identified as associated files.

I keep getting an error message, the flash player won't install, help?
I'am using internet explorer 8 and I followed all the trouble shooting steps in the support center but i keep getting this message:
"Error opening for file writing: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash10d.ocx".
The Pop up that allows it to download the file isn't coming up, but when i tried to download the Adobe air and it came up. I checked all the security settings in the Internet options and followed it but still the same. What could this mean? Thank you.Try the following:
