Why the "hme0" interface is missing?

Hallo! I'm working on a Sun Blade 150 (Solaris 8 4/01). I did a "ifconfig -a" and only see the "lo0" loppback interface and the "eri0" interface.
Why the "hme0" interface is missing?

Edited by: Wolfgang073 on Jan 17, 2010 9:11 AM... because for Solaris-ethernet-on-SPARC, the interface name is specific to the chipset that is used for the function.
Your SB150 uses an "ethernet RIO interface" (ERI) on a discrete chipset and does not use hardware for what has often been named "highspeed-media-ethernet" (HME).
The hardware is different, thus the acronym is different.
Others may choose to offer a better description.

Hi,
make sure that LIS9 should not be used to the Infotypes which are having Time Constraint 1
Check V_T582A for time constratints and also check V_T588D to remove the operation LIS9 forLeaving/ termination action.
for your information
Infotype 0002 should NEVER be delimited as part of the Leaving Action.
The help text for the Operations field of the Info Group states the following:
In the Leaving action, use the "delimit" (LIS9) operation to delimit records.
Please remove the infotype 0002 from the info group, then run the leaving action, you will not find an error message
The reason why you get the error is because the status LIS9 does not exist on MP000200 .
You can see this via the menu painter via SE41.

Why the Align panel is missing???

Does anybody knows why the Align panel in Indesign is not under Window > Object & Layout > Align ?? I can only see Pathfinder and transform under Object & Layout! Is my Indesign corrupted?

It may have not loaded too. Just quit and relaunch. If it is still missing go to the Extention Manage "InDesign > Manage Extensions" and ensure it is enabled. Disabling it and enable it if it is enabled and that should bring it back to life. It will be the second item in the Extension Manager in most cases.

Session Bean - Why the Remote Interface?

I have a stateless session bean that takes a serializable object
as a parameter and passes it to an entity bean to persist. My question
is: why should I put the method (addxxx) in the remote interface of my
session bean? Why can't I just put it in the home interface so that I
don't have to instantiate the EJB object first, then call the method?
Any pros/cons? Thanks.

You could use the Home.create() method. Generally, the home interface is
used to manage the lifecycle of a EJB. Theoretically, you are right in your
thinking because a stateless session bean does not preserve any state and is
alive for the duration of a method call.

Why the question marks for missing files?

Can someone please explain to me in a way that my simple mind can understand. I keep losing important pictures to this missing file beast.
How do I stop this and how can it be fixed. I am about ready to start sending my photos to Walgreen's.. Please...somebody...

This happens because you have either renamed, moved or deleted the photos outside of PSE.
To fix this, you could simply move (using Windows) the photos back to where they were. Or you can reconnect the photos in PSE.

Anyone know why the iCloud tab is missing from the iPhone in Safari?

When I open a web page from my iPhone, I can view the same page on my iPad by opening the iCloud tab, but if I open a web page from my iPad and then wish to view it on my iPhone, I am unable to because the iCloud tab is not visible on the phone when I open Safari. This was a useful feature before the "big" IOS update.

The way you access your iCloud Tabs is a bit different in iOS 7.

If you're using iOS 7, tap the Tabs icon in the lower-right corner. Scroll to the bottom of the list, below the images of tabs open on your device. A list of open tabs on your other supported devices will appear. Tap the one you want to open.
After you tap the Tabs icon, swipe up and it should reveal the iCloud Tabs underneath the open tabs on the device.

Thanks for your help! Yes, they are available but in the German iTunes Store only. Some older songs are available even in the US iTunes Store, but not the new songs from those German artists mentioned above.
I cannot provide a German billing/paying info because I live in California. I would like to switch over to the German iTunes store to buy the albums available there, however, I do have a German iTunes Card but you still need to provide a valid card (visa,master card etc) to purchase songs from the German iTunes Store (I wish the German iTunes gift card itself would be enough, this would make everything easy for many people).
Please help me out and do I need to create a new Apple ID associated ONLY with the German iTunes Store?

Why is the "All Movies" selection missing from Purchased Movies on Apple TV?

THere is no longer an option to search "all" of my Purchased iTunes movies in the Apple TV menu. It was nice to just scroll through all of the movies alphabetically. Now I can only search by ---- RECENT , SHARED, OR BY GENRES. This can sometimes be frustrating because a movie might not be listed in the Genre it Should be I.e. The Outlaw Josey Wales is not listed in Westerns but in Drama , or Big Hero 6 is in Action & Adventure not Kids & Family etc.
IS there anyway to activate this under some setting , or is it gone for good ? If gone is there a way to petition for the option to be brought back ?

Why is "The Stones Of Blood" missing from Series 16 of Classic Doctor Who TV seasons on iTunes Canada?

So on iTunes Canada I can get the first (THE RIBOS OPERATION), second (THE PIRATE PLANET), fourth (THE ANDROIDS OF TARA), fifth (THE POWER OF KROLL) and sixth (THE ARMAGEDDON FACTOR) arcs for the THE KEY TO TIME (16th series fo Classic Doctor Who)...but for some reason the 3rd (THE STONES OF BLOOD) is not available. I can't imagine it's a "rights" issue seeing as the rest of the series is on there for purchase and the producers, ect. were the samae on all of them.
Is there any reason why I can get that arc? Will it be avalable at any point in the future on Canadian iTunes?

Switches tab is available only when the end-user's aruba central account have the license to manage the switches. If only IAP license is available, then switches tab do not appear in device management page of Aruba Central.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

In my opinion its redundant. May be its added for clarity so that from the documentation its obivous that ArrayList implements List.

Why is the panorama tab button missing from my tab bar

Just downloaded Beta 4 and find the panorama button is missing from the tab bar. Your video showing how to manipulate tabs show the button on the right hand side of the tab bar, on my download it is missing why, also some of the other bars shown in your video are missing to, why??

You can add it if you want, right-click on a toolbar and select Customize. You can then drag and drop the "Tab Groups" icon from the customize toolbar dialog onto the toolbars. You can use this method to add other icons to the toolbars.

Why does the sensing interface flap or frequently go to the down state in IDS ?

this is the answer I found in Cisco website, but according to this, I didnot make any updates or any configuration changes, but stilll my sensing interface is going down. I'm not even getting the error messages which they have mentioned at the end.
Ans: During a signature update and reconfigurations, sensorApp stops to process packets as it processes the new signatures in the update. The network driver detects that sensorApp has stopped and pulls any new packets from the buffer. So the network driver does different things, which depends on the configuration and sensor model:
Promiscuous Interface—It brings the link down on the interfaces, and brings the link back up once sensorApp starts to monitor again.
Inline Interface or Inline Vlan Pair—It depends on the Bypass setting:
Bypass Auto—The driver keeps the link up and begins to pass packets through without analysis. It then reverts back to sending the packets through sensorApp once sensorApp starts to monitor again.
Bypass Off—The driver brings the link down on the interfaces, which is the same as in promiscuous mode, and brings them back up once sensorApp starts to monitor again.
So, if sensor app does not pull packets from the buffer, which possibly occurs because there is no interface configured to process packets, then the driver can put the interface in a down state.
These logs are seen when the sensing interface flaps:

It is possible you are overloading that little 4215. If that is the case you should also be seeing "missed packet percentage" messages in your events.
How much traffic is your 4215 getting? Those sensors will start to drop packets for inspection at about 30 Mb/s.
