Why the home bottun is not working??

Woke up this morning, after sending a sms, wannted to return to the home page, but no matter how i press the home bottun, it didn't wanna response. What's wrong with it???? I'm so worry about it, i'm flying overseas soon, and that's my only mobile....omg, who can help?????

Try restarting the iPhone.
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Try the Home button. If it still won't function as it should, restore your iPhone.

  • My IPad cannot download live Tv from skygo. I have no problem with my lap top so I assume the broad band is okay. Can anybody suggest why the live streaming will not work on my iPad one.

Are you using the Sky Go app to try and watch it ? If so are you logged in with your Sky account ?
If you are using the app then you could try closing the app completely and see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Sky Go 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Sky Go app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • The home button is not working on my iphone 5 - is there a way to troubleshoot that issue?

the home button is not working on my iphone 5, its does click and acts normal but doe not do what it is supposed to do

You have identified the problem. If you have Warranty or AppleCare coverage, make Genius reservation and take or send to Apple for resolution. Troubleshoot. When iPhone 5 is open, the home button contacts are present right there. With volt meter placed on home flex you can see if pressing home button completes the circuit. You can bridge the dock home button contacts and see if it actually causes response in the iPhone. If not dock or its contacts are faulty or logic board is faulty.

Make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store and do an out of warranty replacement for $149 USD, or use a third party repair site such as http://www.iresq.com, or replace it yourself, http://www.ifixit.com.

  • My ipod has just black screen and the home button is not working. what will i do? help please!

my ipod has just black screen and the home button is not working. what will i do? help please!

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it says place the iPodin recovery mode use this prgram.
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Hi the home key is not working in my new ipad2

Hi the home key is not working in my new ipad2

If you have multitouch gestures enabled - try this. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and close all of the apps in the task bar and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
See if the home button will work after the iPad starts up again.

  • My iPod Touch 4th Generation is crashing a lot. And the home button is not working.

Recently my iPod would crash when I go on Youtube or any other app or it would be super slow. My current IOS is 6.1.3. The iPod starts working again when I turn it off and on but only for a couple of minutes. Also the home button does not work when I press it.

To reset the iPod without the hardware buttons,
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected. You will have to rejoin wifi networks and repair BT devices

    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • The giant seach bar in the center of the home page does not work, what is this for? also under it is a bar with no title?

there is a search bar in the middle of the home page, I tried using it and it does not work. what is this for?

Battery does not appear to charge
Important: iPod touch cannot be charged with a FireWire-based power source.
Verify that the power source being used is working properly.
If connecting to a computer's USB port, verify it is a high-powered USB 2.0 port. Note: The USB ports on most keyboards don't provide enough power, so if you're connecting iPod touch to a keyboard, make sure it has a high-powered USB 2.0 port.
Verify the computer is turned on and not in sleep or standby mode. If iPod touch is connected to a computer that's not turned on or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPod touch battery may drain.
    Try another USB port.
Try charging from a USB charger if available.
If that does not help, try another USB cable if available.
Learn more about charging the battery.
    The Home button isn't working
Put the iPod Touch to sleep.
    Wait a couple of seconds.
    Press the Home button.
    iPod Touch should wake up.
If iPod Touch does not wake up, then iPod Touch should be serviced.
