Why the graphic card does not support directv2 pc?
I have HP Envy 15 early 2012 3033cl, OS Windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I just downloaded the direct tv app to watch my recorded programs but is not working. I have the AMD HD 7690 M graphic card, and intel's other card I don't know what model that one is. When I use Intel's card I get audio and a green screen. When I use the AMD card I get a message "DIRECTV2PC cannot play this video because your graghic card does not currently support screen capture protection for protected content. Try updating your graphic card driver or modify your driver settings."
Ipod touch supports bluetooth for stereo headsets/speakers and some peer to peer apps from the app store.
Why is not a question that can be answered here.
Only Apple would know. -
I have an ipohne 4 and i have unlocked it at the moment im using T Mobile sim card and the signals apearsjust for few seconds and goes back to no service so i can't call any body while i call before it connects it just hangs up by it sel. why is that if ii could get some help to fix the problem thanks.
T-Mobile is not a supported iPhone carrier. Best to call them. But since they dont carry it, they will tell you to call Apple. In turn, will do nothing. T-mobile is terrible anyway.

Is the credit card system down?
I tried downloading some apps but it asked to re-input my information. I did but it said credit card service is unavailable at this time. Is this just me? Or is a system down?
Hi Takoyaki007
There shouldn't be issues with the ordering system. Could you please try clearing your cache and try again or use a different browser.
Let me know how you get on.
Thanks

Why the size of system table space is limited to 16383MB
Hi,
I am using 10.2.0.3.0 on linux 64 bit
I want to find out that why size of sysaux tablespace datafile is limited to 16383MB as shown in Enterprose manager, i am using 64 bit linux
sysaux tablespace
File Size (KB) 716800
AutoExtend Yes
Increment 10240KB
Maximum File Size 16383MB
Maximum File Size 16383MBHi,
4194304 * 4096 = 17179869184 = 16384GB (4096 = database block size)
Come sir..
Name Abbr. Size
Kilo K 2^10 = 1,024
Mega M 2^20 = 1,048,576
Giga G 2^30 = 1,073,741,824
Tera T 2^40 = 1,099,511,627,776
Peta P 2^50 = 1,125,899,906,842,624
Exa E 2^60 = 1,152,921,504,606,846,976
Zetta Z 2^70 = 1,180,591,620,717,411,303,424
Yotta Y 2^80 = 1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706,176
Now, 1 MB = 1,048,576 * 4= 419304 (4 MB Block Size)
4 MB Block Size * database Block Size (4096) = 17179869184 Kilo Bytes
17179869184 /1024/ 1024 = 16384 GB

Why the system invokes card.toString() by itself
Hi All!
When Card3 is instantiated and then printed out.The result is, as if the card.toString()
was invoked ( Ten of Clubs). Could somebody tell,why the system invokes card.toString()
by itself.
Thanks.
public class card3Demo {
public static void main(String[] args) {
Card3 card=new Card3(10,2);
System.out.println(card);
public class Card3 {
private int suit = UNASSIGNED;
private int number = UNASSIGNED;
public final static int UNASSIGNED = -1;
public final static int DIAMONDS = 1;
public final static int CLUBS = 2;
public final static int HEARTS = 3;
public final static int SPADES = 4;
public final static int ACE = 1;
public final static int KING = 13;
public Card3(int number, int suit) {
this.suit=suit;
this.number=number;
public String toString123() {
return numberToString(this.number) + " of "
+ suitToString(this.suit);
public static String numberToString(int number) {
String result = "";
switch (number) {
case ACE: result = "Ace"; break;
case 2: result = "Two"; break;
case 3: result = "Three"; break;
case 4: result = "Four"; break;
case 5: result = "Five"; break;
case 6: result = "Six"; break;
case 7: result = "Seven"; break;
case 8: result = "Eight"; break;
case 9: result = "Nine"; break;
case 10: result = "Ten"; break;
case 11: result = "Jack"; break;
case 12: result = "Queen"; break;
case KING: result = "King"; break;
case UNASSIGNED: result = "Invalid Number"; break;
return result;
public static String suitToString(int suit) {
String result = "";
switch (suit) {
case DIAMONDS: result = "Diamonds"; break;
case CLUBS: result = "Clubs"; break;
case HEARTS: result = "Hearts"; break;
case SPADES: result = "Spades"; break;
case UNASSIGNED: result = "Invalid Suit"; break;
return result;Actually it will call String.valueOf(o) which works like this:
public static String valueOf(Object obj) {
return (obj == null) ? "null" : obj.toString(); -

A refresher: what actually is the SIM card for and WHY is it removable?
I am sure that this topic has been addressed before. However, since I am a bit familiar as to WHY smilar SIM cards are removable and changeable in, say, European phones, I am wondering WHY the iPhone has one, and what purpose does it serve especially since the iPhone is so closely related to its own particular flavor of ATT service..
Thanks!
- Roger TA SIM card or Subscriber Identity Module is a portable memory chip. The SIM card makes it easy to switch to a new phone by simply sliding the SIM out of the old phone and into the new one. The SIM holds personal identity information, cell phone number, and on some models of phones, teh phone book along with other data. It can be thought of as a mini hard disk that automatically activates the phone into which it is inserted.
A SIM card can come in very handy. For example, let's say your phone runs out of battery power at a friend's house. Assuming you both have SIM-based phones, you can remove the SIM card from your phone and slide it into your friend's phone to make your call. Your carrier processes the call as if it were made from your phone, so it won't count against your friend's minutes.
If you upgrade your phone there's no hassle involved. The SIM card is all you need. Just slide it into the new phone and you're good to go. You can even keep multiple phones for different purposes. An inexpensive phone in the glove compartment, for example, for emergency use, one phone for work and another for home. Just slide your SIM card into whatever phone you wish to use.
High-end cell phones can be very attractive and somewhat pricey. If you invest in an expensive phone you might want to keep it awhile. Using a SIM card, it is even possible to switch carriers and continue to use the same phone. The new carrier will simply issue you their own SIM card. The phone must be unlocked, however, and operate on the new carrier's frequency or band.
A SIM card provides an even bigger advantage for international travelers -- simply take your phone with you and buy a local SIM card with minutes. For example, a traveler from the U.S. staying in the U.K. can purchase a SIM card across the pond. Now the phone can be used to call throughout England without paying international roaming charges from the carrier back home.
SIM cards are used with carriers that operate on the Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) network. The competing network is Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), a technology created by U.S. company Qualcomm. As of fall 2005, CDMA cell phones and CDMA carriers do not support SIM cards in most parts of the world, though this is changing. A CDMA SIM card called the R-UIM (Re-Useable Identification Module) was made available in China in 2002, and will eventually be available worldwide. Expectations for the future include a cell phone market that supports both SIM (GSM) and R-UIM (CDMA) cards by default. -

Why does the new operating system not delete the moved files from their original locations - it seems like an enormous waste of space, time and effort to clean up every file once you've moved it - also, when transferring large amounts of files it becomes a very large problem remembering which files were transferred and which not.
You're going to need to be more specific, as I'm not quite sure I understand what you're talking about.
If you're referring to copying from an external hard drive or flash drive, and you want to actually move files rather than copy them, you can hold down the option key to force it to do a "move" rather than a "copy." This is not new behavior, though... the Mac OS has worked this way as long as I can recall (and I've been using it since 1984).
If you're having a problem with trying to move files from one place to another on a single drive causing them to be copied instead, that is likely because of some permissions issue preventing you from actually being able to move them. -
Why was I able to redeem my ITunes card and have a balance that is shown next to my email address as an available balance to purchase ITunes for my IPod, but when I try to purchase any songs/albums, I am directed to the credit card/billing information page whichis telling me I need to provide that information in order to buy siad albums or songs when I have a credit already from the card? I also get directed to a page where I'm required to provide a code from the card I had already used and obtained a balance from, therefore, the card was disposed of as I had no longer any use for it; so I thought....
How am I supposed to be able to use the credited balance that's already posted to my ITunes account?
Am I missing a step or something? Because I am honestly lost as to what to do or how to proceed from here! Please, if you know what I need to do, I am desperate and very frustrated looking for answers.Contact iTunes:

Hi, I have registered at apple site, and i have submitted the credit card information, they deducted some ammount without my permission, why they did that? how can i remove my credit card details from that site or deactivate my account?
From that HT3702 page :
If you update your billing information, the iTunes Store or Mac App Store will place an authorization hold on your payment card account, usually in the amount of 1 USD or the local currency equivalent, to verify your account information.
You might see authorization requests on your online statement. These requests aren't actual charges; they are tests to confirm that your payment card account is active and has available funds to accommodate transactions. Authorization holds are removed by your financial institution shortly after your purchase clears. The time it takes to remove authorization requests varies by financial institution.
The number of days that it takes to diappear varies by bank, but it's usually a few days - though with the weekend coming up it might take an extra day or two -
getting a message says apple id has not yet been used with the itunes store while trying to download apps
why do i need to enter the credit card information for downloading free apps and redeem the codes?As a security precaution, Apple verifies your billing credentials with every transaction whether paid or free apps or using the balance of a redeemed code.
