Why the iPhone vibrates 2 times when the iPhone OS is starting?
Someone know why the iPhone vibrates two times when the iPhone OS is starting (and the apple logo appears)
In my case, this rare event occurs when a problem with an application (3rd party) force to iPhone to restart or when occurs a problem during the sync with iTunes. After this event, my iPhone never load (your OS) and the only way is the restore.

Read the API and find out for yourself what events are triggered by a JButton......
Remember thsi advices:
1) Before using shorthand event handling, make absolutely sure that you understand the process back to front...
2) Write your own event, listener and implementer in order to get a clearer picture...
3) Until this is clear to you, always implement the appropriate listener and override the necessary methods....

Why my mawerick reboots every time when I try to mount afp drive over VPN ipsec?
After Mawericks update there has been a bug that prevents using afp file sharing with ipsec VPN. Mawerick will reboot every time when I try to choose folder to view. VPN connection and user authentication works fine until I have to choose which folder to mount. Any other VPN action like common web browsing doesn't cause any problems. It's only afp.
When I view logs I will find this one. It indicates that there really is some low level problem in drivers.
Question is: How I can fix this?

Getting time when online log switches; archiver start, ends

Is there a possibility to check the exact time
-when do online redo log switch
-when does Archiver start and finish his archiving online logs

GroxyIn my current configuration I am getting a lot of "waits" (processes waiting form commit)
I would like to see if there is any relation of archiving process with "waits" in my application. Redo logs currently siwtch upto 6 times /hour. My ideas is to increase redo log size from 150MB to e.g 300MB and give archiver less priority, so there are no peaks, which consumes significant amount of disk I/O and the process of archiving will be spreaded.

Why did iCal change all times when it changed to wintertime?
When wintertime (normal time) occurred the night before sunday, my Mac and my iPhone automaticaly changed. But not just that: all time settings for meetings and appointments were set back one hour!

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
One of the first things to try is "refresh" the com.apple.iCal.plist file. You will find the com.apple.iCal.plist file in your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Quit iCal, drag the .plist file to your Desktop, log out/in or restart and check iCal for normal behavior.
If that is unsuccessful, try resetting iSync. To do that you need to open iSync, and choose iSync>Preferences>Reset Sync History...
If duplicates are not resolved on your iPhone, open "Settings" on the iPhone>Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks>Accounts>your MobileMe account and turn off Calendars, when prompted delete data, and wait two minutes, then turn Calendars back on. When asked to merge the data, make that choice, and wait patiently. You should no longer have duplicates. If you are able, I recommend using a Wi-Fi connection to make the change.

Why does Facebook tag multiple times when uploaded through Aperture?
Hi all,
The past few times I've uploaded photos to Facebook via Aperture 3's (current version) integrated uploader it tags people several times, but not in the same way it used to (with the blue link) and don't lead to profiles. This only occurs when someone is tagged within Aperture.
I can't delete these tags on Facebook and I've only tagged them once in Aperture.
See the screen shot for an example. In the image, only I am tagged since Aperture didn't pull her face as a face. She was tagged manually (as was I, the blue link vs the black tags) and I blocked that out.
Anyone know a fix or what gives?I am experiencing these issues as well.

Comment your statement:

The kde can't start automatically
I had been using GNOME and initscripts.
and transit to systemd and KDE recently.
after "systemctl enable kde.service" and reoot, I got the console shell, but not kde, of cause, I can login with console, and "systemctl start kde" to start KDE,
but why the KDE can't start automatically?
I have checked the log, but got nothing.you should have got an error somewhere when enabling "kde.service," because that service doesn't exist. KDE's login manager is kdm. you should do
systemctl enable kdm.service
instead. to start the service immediately, type (after the above):
systemctl start kdm.service
and you should get KDE's login manager. -
File Adapter Query, when PI server restarts polling starts
Hi Experts,
I have one problem with File sender adapter if someone can suggest solution or easy way to handle situation.
I have a interface with 50 file adapters.
I am activating all file adapters with poling interval 24 Hours.
And I am activating all adapters after 10 minutes interval so that all should not run at same time.
So every thing is good.
But the problem is that whenever BASIS team restarts the SAP-PI server. All 50 file sender adapters get restart at same time (i.e. all poling starts at same time which I do not want because of file size of all files and dependency of one interface i/p on other file o/p).
So every time when server is getting re-started, I have to re-activate all 50 adapters by sitting for many hours after every 10 minute interval.
Can someone suggest any solution for above problem, or itu2019s not possible to control sender file adapter poling start when server starts instead of time when I activate it originally?

My iPhone won't stop vibrating when plugged into my Macbook. All software is up to date. iTunes just gives me an error. No problems when plugged into a PC. Why the nonstop vibrating!?
When I connect it to my iMac (with up-to-date OS X Yosemite 10.9.5) - it doesn't work.
Specifically - iTunes automatically launches, but then quickly shows a dialog window that says, "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone. This device is no longer connected."
Meanwhile - on my iPhone - in the upper right-hand corner (where the battery life is displayed) - you can see the "plugged in" icon (lightening bolt) rapidly blinking on and off.
In other words - it seems like, when it's plugged in - it's rapidly connecting and disconnecting (several times per second).
If I click "OK" on that dialog window on iTunes - it instantly pops back up, and continues to do so as long as I keep the iPhone plugged in.
I have tried all and stile did not resolve my problem. I tried to restart both devices, try different cable (I have original cable). Both devices are new and software's are update it on latest versions.

Why my iphone produces a bug after it renew for OS5.1.1. The bug is when I use message, type a Chinese word, and then using a releveant word, then the program automately closes. Every time I try the same procedure, it definitely closes.
Nobody knows? Not even administrators?
Please it would be really nice to have help on that to take all the benefit of the remote app.

When I send Outlook invites to my iPhone (via email) the appointments appear 3 hours earlier? The time setting appears to be EST which is accurate so I can't figure out why the appointments don't appear in real time. Thanks for your help, Ellen
1) The best way to relocate the iTunes library folder is to move the entire iTunes folder with all subfolders to the new path, then press and hold down shift as start iTunes and keep holding until prompted to choose a library, then browse to the relocated folder and open the file iTunes Library.itl inside it.
If you've done something different then provide some more details about what is where and I should be able to help.
2) Purchases on the device should automatically transfer to a Purchased on <DeviceName> playlist, but it my depend a bit on whether automatic iCloud downloads are enabled. If there is a cloudy link then the transfer might not happen. You can use File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. In iTunes you should also check out iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer.
3) Backup the device, then immediately restore it. In some cases you need to add a restore as new device into that equation. Obbviously not to be attempted until you're sure all your media is in your library. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device should it be needed.
4) I believe there is complimentary 1 incident 90-day support with hardware purchases, but no free software support for iTunes itself. AppleCare gets you a different level of support.

If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.
