Is the iPad charged? Plug it in with the charger/wall outlet for half an hour and try again to reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears.

The article helped me a bit but it doesnt help me totally because the buttons dont work and i cannot connect to itunes (itunes does not sense my ipod when plugged in) so im thinking to just let the battery uncharge...

I bought a brand new ipod touch 5th gen, updated the software and now iTunes says "to allow access, please respond on your ipod touch" however the ipod has a black screen and pressing the buttons does nothing. how do i fix this?

As the title says, this is a brand new iPod touch bought from a store, I plugged it in a commenced the "setting up" process through iTunes on may iMac. It got to the stage where it said allow this computer to access the device (or something along those lines), i clicked yes, and then a message came up "to allow access, please respond on your iPod touch. however the ipod screen is black, and pressing the buttons doesn't work. How can i fix this? or do I need to return it?

Ipod has a black screen except for the apple symbol

i tried to reset it and charge it but it wont work it wont play music but it charges and then it dies after a while and it has a black screen with the apple symbol on it the light will go on and of but it wont go away and it wont work. what should i do?

I have an iPod touch 4th gen on iOS 5.0.1. Recently the address bar in the safari app has become black. But he favorites and history is blue. This hasn't been affectin performance, but I think it's strange that it changed. I'm not sure if I did something to this or what.

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
There's more to try but let's go a bit at a time.

1. Can you get it to light up doing a hard reset and holding the buttons down for at least a minute?
2. Is it charged up?
3. Is the USB power cable good?
4. Can you get iTunes to recognize using recovery or DFU mode?

Anybody know why the camera app shuts itself in iPhone 5?

Have one week exactly with my iPhone 5.
However everytime I use the camera oftenly it quits the app.
Anybody know why? Is their a fix for it?
Is this a flaw in iPhone 5?

This might mean that the app is no longer available in the UK store, so you won't be able to get it again if you are in the UK and the app is in the US store.
Why not try contacting the App Store directly.

I think by the time you attach the listener for the status it is already dispatched and your listener is not in place to catch it yet.

My iPod has a black screen and when you press the power button nothing happens. Also when you plug it in the the computer or wall nothing happens.

My iPod was plugged in over night. When I woke up in the morning it had a black screen and wouldn't turn on at all. Also it doesn't say that its charging when it's plugged in and when plugged into the computer nothing comes up like it did before.

Reset it by holding the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider if it appears first), then release. You won't lose any data by doing this.
