Why the need to change "Preferences"?
To get Reader X to work like previous versions did I have to go to preferences and either check or uncheck "Display PDF in browser" (e.g. Chase card Services "uncheck"; ADP payroll services "Check". Why? What does "Display PDF in bowser" mean, anyway? Thank You.
If you check it links from a web page to PDF files will open inside your browser. If not, they'll open in Reader's own window.

Why is it that verizon can't leave well enough alone! It seems everytime I log in I can't, because verizon wants me to go to another page or change my info, I just want my email, I don't want to learn about new products and new offers, If there is a time I feel te need, I will come looking, don't shove it down my throat! It can be annoying, but I think their motivation is good. They are trying to make things better for their customers and I think they have, even though sometimes it is annoying. I think it would be nice if they would advise us when the pages are going to be down for maintenance, In the mean time, you could have another E mail account so you can always get access to your E mail.

This is critical. No support if you use this way to change password. This should be the last option. Recommended is using FNDCPASS.

After using FNDCPASS to change Apps password, you have to run AutoConfig. AutoConfig will take care of changing/modifying all files and profile options. so you will not need to update any file manually.
- Stop all application services
- Use FNDCPASS to change the password
FNDCPASS apps/pwd 0 Y system/pwd SYSTEM APPLSYS <new_pwd>
- Run AutoConfig
- Bounce all application services -
Removing the need to change password

Because we are looking to pass username and a set password with the mobileclient.exe we would like to remove the need to change password every x days
Is there a database entry that we can change or settings in MSY that will prevent it from triggering the password change?

You can change the Password parameter using MSY.
1> Login to MSY -> Cross-Component Settings -> Password Paramter.
2> Select the Password Parameter "pass_exp_time" -> Parameter Value to 0.
3> Save
Hope this will resolve your query. This disable the need to change the password.

what a long post....Apple, btw, does not read this stuff, so ranting, raving, and complaining here might make you feel good, but it does no good at all. That being said, I, too have a Mac Pro Quad Core Xeon with 6 gigs of ram and an nVidia 8800 GT graphics card (not as good as yours, alas) and I've had no problems at all with it. Yes, it doesn't have Thunderbolt, but maybe we Mac pro owners will get lucky and someone will come out with an adapter (probably not). No, you probably don't have to throw away your Mac Pro, but if you do, I'll take it, for a small "recycling" fee >:-) That was a joke. Yes, the Mac Pro's future isn't quite clear, YET. Hopefully that will improve very soon. As for not being able to upgrade to Mountain Lion. Don't worry about that too much, Nobody is forcing you to do that. Your Mac Pro won't quit working if it isn't installed. From what I've heard, you should give the new OS a chance, and wait to get it, in case there might be some bugs, or stuff not working with the new OS, which has been known to happen. Yes, we Mac Pro owners don't like being treated like mushrooms-kept in the dark, and being fed......... but Apple is Apple and it will do what it does, and there is nothing you or me can really do to change that. All I can say is....trust, have faith, be patient, go for a walk, do something else to take your mind off of this problem. IF apple decides to drop the Mac Pro for good, and that's a big "IF", I think they will anger a whole bunch of people

Why the control parameters changed when print smart form

my mac air have some physical damage , the fan seems not no be working, when they runed the test it is what it showed , now they are telling me that they need to relace evrything, even if is not damaged. The incident hapened week ago , i had not experienced any overheating problems , or any issues.

Why the need to "run as administrator"?
Our of curiousity, why do I need to run Premiere Elements 8 using the "Run as administrator" in Windows 7?
It is a bit annoying to have to type in a password just to run Premiere Elements 8 since I never use the administrator account to anything.I dont run Win7, but I do run Vista-64, and I can attest to the fact that the Windows Security framework is a dark hole that is difficult for most to navigate thru and completely understand.
One can assume that with Win7, it's still a grey area that needs an official decoder ring for even the simple tasks.
I always install PE from the Admin Login and just give the rights to any User Account on the system.
With this approach I've never run into the situation where it must be Run as an Administrator.
If I'm not mistaken, PE may even require an Install from the Admin Login (I can't verify cause it's been so long that I've done the Install, that I don't remember).
The bottom line is if a particular Windows Object, PE in this case, is Owned by a particular Group or User, depending on it's Permissions and/or Access Rights will determine who can Run, Execute, or Modify that Object.
And unless your a Security maven, this could get real ugly, real fast (and you can screw up your System in a heartbeat if you don't know what your doing in this area).
Now you see why I install and Run it under the Admin Login and call it a day... -

Why the need for bank subaccounts?
Why do we need bank subaccounts? What is the logic behind this? Why can't we use the main bank account to make outgoing or receive incoming payments?
Thanks in advance. Points available.Bank sub accounts are generally required if Bank Reconciliation (especially Electronic Bank Reconciliation) are performed in SAP. If I try to explain in simple terms it is as follows. The bank statement received from a bank will have several transaction types such as cheque payment, deposits, EFT etc. Even if you look at the statement these transactions are identified via transaction type ( E.g. CHQ). Similarly, SAP requires these external transaction types to be mapped via Transaction Types and posting rules. Therefore ideally, there will be a different sub bank accounts created for each Cheque Payment, Deposits, Miscellaneous Debits etc. I have found this a very good process where at any given time (if bank reconciliations are performed on a daily basis) each sub account would represent Unpresented Cheques or Unrealized Deposits while the main bank account will match with the balance as per the bank statement.

Your second class (jbuttons) actually contains TWO panels: "this" as well as the jp panel. The jp panel is in this case unnecessary.
Although the sizing of the jp panel is set correctly, the "this" panel is still set to "flow" layout and will not give you the desired result.
Try rewriting your second class this way:

Every time I'm playing a playlist and set the shuffle songs, the app changes the Repeat Playlist from off to On by itself. Some other times when I connect via Bluetooth or thru wire in my car, the playlist I was playing is gone and it starts playing all my music (songs) alphabetically. Also, I don't like when you set your iPhone in landscape you don't see the album you are playing but the all the albums covers, no sense to me. Apple will lose against their competition not for their hardware but for the software (iOS)!problems like this with. If it's not broken, then don't try to fix it!

Just upgraded to PP6 and have a bit of a problem. When I do a new video capture from tape, PP will not let me name the file. The process seems the same, but when I type in my new file name, I get an error message saying "cannot change file, keeping
