They are correct. Intrestingly enough I have not encountered any isses with the Adobe CS6 Suite so I would look to Adobe for help in this respect. As Apple told you, it is not their software.

Radio streaming stops every half hour or so.
I stream a radio station. However it stops every half hour or so. How can I keep it going? Internet speed is down 80 and up 9 megabits.
Well, I don't know if you actually read my post, but I've already upgraded the firmware and power cycled it. Those setting are at their defaults: 100 for beacon interval, 2346 for frag thresh, and 2432 for RTS thresh. But, I did change them to the provided numbers yesterday; no change.
Let me provide some more info. I also share my wireless internet connection on my laptop and hook up my Xbox 360 to it. Also, the router is three years old. Is it normal after this time frame for it to start malfunctioning? Should we go out and get a new one? I'm talking purely by hardware lifespan right now, we don't need a new one just because it has some more bells and whistles; the one we have now has worked well up until now.

I have wireless connection between Apple Air (OS X 10.9.3) and TimeCapsule (v7.6.4).
From time to time the connection just suddenly stops/interrupts but only partially > I can still access intertnet via TC but I cannot browse the data in it.
Finder shows that TC is connected; but nothing happens if I press "disconnect".
The only way I have managed to fix this is by rebooting Air and/or TC.
Luckily this can be fixed every time with reboot, but it is really annoying bug..WilzuFIN wrote:

Absolutely true.. and it has been there for an age, 2 ages and half an age.. (to put it in bilblical proportions).
We have been fighting this since Lion. It is a hard one.. and as you note, makes little sense. The TC is not lost.. it has simple vanished as a file store to the computer.
There is no total bug fix.. sorry. 10.9.3 was supposed to improve the networking and fix it though.. cough.. gollum gollum.. cough.
I presume this has been happening going way back when??
1. I strongly recommend using 7.6.1 firmware.. but that is up to you.. now is the point to do it.. but you can start at point 2 instead and if that doesn't help go around again start at 1.
Downgrade to 7.6.1 firmware.. if the TC is old go back even further.. 7.5.2 for gen1 or gen2. Even maybe Gen3.
Downgrade by holding in option key when you select version. like thus.
2. Factory reset.
The Factory Reset universal
Unplug your TC/AE. Hold in reset. and power the TC/AE back on.. all without releasing reset and keep holding in for about 10sec. The time is not important.. it is the front LED rapid flashing that indicates you are in factory mode.
Release reset.
If it doesn’t flash rapidly you have released reset at some point and try again.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC/AE will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.
3. All new setup.. Do not use old names.. Please clear out all the old names from your wireless on the laptop.
New names should be short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric. eg TCgen4 (or whatever gen it is) as base station name. Use simple name like TCwifi for the wireless or even separate names for each band, eg TC24ghz and TC5ghz. The less stuff left on auto the less stuff that can stuff up.
4. Manually mount the TC disk in the computer.. and I strongly recommend you do this by IP.. certainly if the TC is static, eg in router mode it is 10.0.1.1 by default and you should use that. It is better than using names. Even if the TC is bridged .. if at all possible make the TC ip static, via the dhcp reservations in the main router.
Then in Finder.. Go, Connect to server. (or address bar in safari for example will take you there).
AFP://10.0.1.1
or AFP://TCgen4.local (whatever your TCname plus the correct local domain, by default local. )
It will find the network resource.. ask for password.. type in your password.. remember to store it in your keychain.
5. IPv6
Make sure ipv6 is set correctly in the computer and on the TC. There is a little known document where Apple makes it clear this is important.

On the TC it is under Internet tab.. options.. (why there and not networking.. I do not know)
(ignore the global domain.. I was trying that to also fix it but it seems to not work).
will doing all that fix it.. Maybe and possibly not..
It should however make the problem less acute.
No luck please give me more info on the whole network setup. Main modem.. make and model. TC actual model.. A1xxx from the base.
How the two are connected and how the TC is set .. bridge or main router. Or much worse double NAT or join wireless.
I have a few other ways to do things.. that might help when you have the TC in bridge mode. -

When you have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Mac OS X 10.8.4
Virtual Box 4.2.16 r86992
Oracle Developer Days (don't know the version, just downloaded it)
SQL Developer 3.2.20.09
Networking is host-only, I tried bridged but that doesn't make a difference for the problem at hand. I can ping my virtual box just fine, telnet to port 1521 looks good too:

When I create a new connection with sql developer, with the same hostname / IP (192.168.56.101), Port 1521 (didn't change that) and SID orcl, basic connection type, it can't even connect, throwing the error mentioned in the subject:
Status : Failure -Test failed: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
I have looked at various threads in the forums here but I'm still stymied why the connection seems to be ok, yet sql developer has problems with it. If I create an ssh tunnel so sql developer only has to connect to localhost it works:
ssh -L 1521:192.168.56.101:1521 -l oracle 192.168.56.101

This may be of varoius reasons..
Is the database that you are connecting on the same PC?
You have specified Hostname: localhost.
If not please replace it with the IP of that server.
Else please check whether the database listener is started or not. if not please start the listener.
Check the SID by tnsping command.

The thing is, the music does not cease prior to the slideshow start. Or At least it doesn't cease on my ATV.
I do have Flickr set as screensaver indeed, but having to change screensaver settings to watch a new slideshow is just plain annoying IMO.
Ane the fact that the music plays when a screensaver slideshow is active is a proof that technically the ATV could support the feature.

Macbook air Wi Fi and sound stops every time it goes to sleep. i have to restart it every time to use wifi and sounds. this started happening just after the latest upgrade to OS X. any reasons why its doing that and how to fix it.
Test after taking each of the following steps. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Make sure the network is on the preferred list by following these instructions. It's important to read the article carefully, as it's the starting point for any further efforts to solve the problem. If you skip any of the steps, the problem may not be solved.
2. Follow the instructions in this support article under the heading "Symptom: The network connection drops unexpectedly."
3. Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
4. From the Location menu at the top of the Network preference pane, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test.
5. Launch the Keychain Access application. Search for and delete all AirPort network password items that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.
6. In some cases, the problem has been resolved by repairing permissions on the startup volume.
7. Turn off Bluetooth and test.
8. Reinstall OS X. -

Streaming radio just stopped working Firefox version 8, but I can get everything else not on stream to work. Add on's are up to date. I can't recall if it happened after the Firefox up date or after listening to last.fm or what prompted it. How to fix this?
I installed-enabled MS win media player firefox 1.0.0.8, i still did not get streaming, error box comes up and says 'stream load error', the 'windows media test' thing did not work, i tried iheart radio-no luck, so i disabled win media player plug-in dynamic link library 3.0.2629 and tested and still did not work, i also have plug ins: silverlight 5.0.61118.0 and quicktime 7.6.9 7.6.9.0 enabled. I don't know why all of the sudden i have a stream problem with firefox, yesterday, i tried on IE which i never use and had no problem with it. i will try to do more trouble shooting and see, its really frustrating, if can't figure out, i guess will have to revert back to IE which i really don't want to do, but---oh well. thx for help.

While watching an iTunes movie from my Apple TV, why does my movie stop playing at the 1 hour mark? I'm assuming I have a setting causing this to happen, but I have no idea what setting needs to be changed. Can someone help me?
It's right at an hour (consistently), but the computer goes to sleep prior to that. It's as if iTunes goes to sleep. Also, it wasn't always this way. Originally, the movies played through without interruption. At some point, I guess a setting was changed, and now I only get an hour. Also. My energy settings are set to go to sleep at 10 minutes.

Restore iPhone with current iTunes on computer. See if better. If still problem, make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send to Apple for resolution. Of if easier for you, take receipt and iPhone, box and everything and return to where you bought it.
