Why the recent (unwelcome) changes to thunderbird?

The screen minimizes on it's own - I am just reading an email and suddenly the screen reduces to 1/3 the screen size....Why? Even after putting it back to full screen, it will time & time again, on it's own, go back to the smaller size.
Why did the format for sending an email change?
Typing in the names/addresses where I am sending an email has changed and sometimes no matter what address I type in to send an email to, it defaults to a completely different email address...why?
Why when I try to delete one email, it deletes several in a row?
Why didn't you leave well enough alone? It was a great system...easy to use...however I will be changing to another email provider if I continue to have these problems.

Never heard of this. It sounds like a local issue.

This is a known bug that is being worked on

This sounds like a problem with your mouse.
Start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled

what a long post....Apple, btw, does not read this stuff, so ranting, raving, and complaining here might make you feel good, but it does no good at all. That being said, I, too have a Mac Pro Quad Core Xeon with 6 gigs of ram and an nVidia 8800 GT graphics card (not as good as yours, alas) and I've had no problems at all with it. Yes, it doesn't have Thunderbolt, but maybe we Mac pro owners will get lucky and someone will come out with an adapter (probably not). No, you probably don't have to throw away your Mac Pro, but if you do, I'll take it, for a small "recycling" fee >:-) That was a joke. Yes, the Mac Pro's future isn't quite clear, YET. Hopefully that will improve very soon. As for not being able to upgrade to Mountain Lion. Don't worry about that too much, Nobody is forcing you to do that. Your Mac Pro won't quit working if it isn't installed. From what I've heard, you should give the new OS a chance, and wait to get it, in case there might be some bugs, or stuff not working with the new OS, which has been known to happen. Yes, we Mac Pro owners don't like being treated like mushrooms-kept in the dark, and being fed......... but Apple is Apple and it will do what it does, and there is nothing you or me can really do to change that. All I can say is....trust, have faith, be patient, go for a walk, do something else to take your mind off of this problem. IF apple decides to drop the Mac Pro for good, and that's a big "IF", I think they will anger a whole bunch of people

Why are recently added/changed Notes being emailed to me?

Since the first of the month, any new or changed Notes documents are being sent to my Moble Me email.
I am not using the cloud for storage but backing up to the computer.
Since the recent OS upgrade, there have been other strange things are happening other than this issue.
I had never really looked at setting for notes before, but other than the font, the default account is [email protected] The only other option is "On My Mac"

Have a look under Playlists, Artists, Genres, and make sure you haven't checked something there that collects all her stuff. For example, if you had Beyonce checked under Artists, it'll transfer *all* Beyonce music.
As an experiment, uncheck everything in those three lists, so you *only* have checkmarks under Albums.

1) In your smartform design, how many pages do you have? (Check the page format and margins, have a look at form painter
    as well)
2) Check out the navigation from one page to another page.
3) Debugg the form and check at what point the last page is been added.

Mary,
Your second class (jbuttons) actually contains TWO panels: "this" as well as the jp panel. The jp panel is in this case unnecessary.
Although the sizing of the jp panel is set correctly, the "this" panel is still set to "flow" layout and will not give you the desired result.
Try rewriting your second class this way:

Every time I'm playing a playlist and set the shuffle songs, the app changes the Repeat Playlist from off to On by itself. Some other times when I connect via Bluetooth or thru wire in my car, the playlist I was playing is gone and it starts playing all my music (songs) alphabetically. Also, I don't like when you set your iPhone in landscape you don't see the album you are playing but the all the albums covers, no sense to me. Apple will lose against their competition not for their hardware but for the software (iOS)!problems like this with. If it's not broken, then don't try to fix it!

Why the last column change width automaticlly?

a datagrid has 3 columns,
set horizontalScrollPolicy="auto"
I stretch first or second column, the third(last) column will
change width automaticlly. If I wanna fix the width of last column,

I don't think there is way to do this. This seems to be
hard-coded -- thru a private function called calculateColumnSizes()
-- in the DataGrid class.
So you're essentially out of luck! Unless, of course, you
decide to subclass the DataGrid class, override updateDisplayList
method and provide your own implementation of calcualte column
size!
Or maybe, logging a change request for Flex team.

I want to edit/reset the "recent" folder list in Thunderbird. Where is this list stored?

There are a lot of "unused" or obsolete folders that show up when I am moving messages to another folder (such as Junk). Having all these showing up all the time makes it cumbersome when doing this. I presume this "recent" list is stored somewhere, but I've been unable to find it.

That's because the Unified Inbox is a type of search folder created for a unified view.
But I agree - if there is a drop down context option to choose ' favourite' then you expect it to appear in Favourite view.
So they should fix or remove the option to stop confusion.

IPad 2 after recent Os changes has slowed down 70%. Any thoughts? This was NOT an issue before the recent Os change, so assume another apple screw up. But looking for a fix.

Since the Os update...certainly wasn't an upgrade....my iPad 2 has been slow on wifi. About 70% slower. Looking out there I only found ideas from May 2012, no help. This clearly is part of Apple's poor upgrade.
So question is...any fix other than selling off the iPad and getting a Samsung ?

At the risk of sounding unsympathetic (I am), what made you jump to the conclusion above? As you observed, reports of similar issues date to 2012. Since others (including me) have no similar problems, an analytical approach would suggest that the problem is limited to your iPad.
What measurement did you use to determine your 70% number? Do you have 3G? If so, is that faster?
You could reset the iPad (hold the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears).
There are other troubleshooting steps that might be taken that would be found elsewhere in these forums.

If you check it links from a web page to PDF files will open inside your browser. If not, they'll open in Reader's own window.

How are you supposed to find the latest podcast if there's little information about the podcast due to the recent iTunes changes?

When I crop in LR3 and move into PSE, the crop ratio changes.

I like LR's crop tool better than PSE, so I use that to crop before I move into PSE for further editing. I don't know if this would make a difference, but I do save the LR copy as a jpeg first cause I'm not always ready to finish editing it at that point (I know, not what everybody else does but it works for me). I crop in LR using 15x11, but when I open it in PSE it is only 13x9 (roughly). Any idea why the size would change? Should I not crop until I'm done editing, then go back into LR for the final cropping? Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks!

I understand how that would work, but I don't understand why it does it even AFTER I save the LR file as a cropped jpeg? If I save a crop in LR, shouldn't it save at the size I crop it to? I'm mainly referring to photos that I save first as a jpeg and export to my folders from LR, THEN open in PSE.

First thing is to forget all the complex configs and just try to schedule the report to run once now, no alerts, no notifications, no nothing.
Does that work?
Then you can build up the schedule, to see where the problem is coming from.

Now with the new board, it can't be the display's fault. I hope it is not macbook pro's main board fault. Maybe hasthe notebook board been damaged by the faulty display?
To bring my MacBook Pro to service will slow down my work. This is why I am posting this message, in the hope to be able to run a diagnostic test myself.

It sounds like your computer goes to sleep, and will not wake up, so you must manually restart your computer. I recommend the troubleshooting in the following article:
