Why the songs in music canot be play and delete?
This is the issue im facing to, after updating my iTunes to vers 10.5.2.11.
First of all, Im dragging the Music directly into the Music in iTunes, it thens copy into iPhone and I could manually delete it.
After that, I found that the ringtone couldnt be sync or transfer into the iPhone.
So I delete entire song in the Music of iTunes, and I copy the song into the Music Library & Ringtones.
After Syncing, my Music Apps appear as below. It couldnt be play or delete.

If these songs started out on your phone, why didn't you just sync them directly to iTunes instead of using Sharepod? You need to contact the Sharepod developers to sort out problems with their software.

There is an issue with Photoshop specifically related to recent updates in which causes the licensing to revert to trial after a certain number of launches (typically 2-3).
The current workarounds are to either:
- Sign in with your Adobe ID again every few launches
- Uninstall Photoshop CS6 and then reinstall it but don't install any of the updates
The issue with the updates is planned to be fixed in the coming weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

How do you plug in "the wrong end of my Ipod to the computer"? The iPod only has ONE connection point, so how does it have a "wrong end"?
For the songs you purchased, can you find them in your iTunes music library (on the computer)?
If you try to re-purchase (spend more money) on a song you already purchased, the iTunes Store will kindly tell you not to waste your money buying something you already have. If you ever "lose" a song you already purchased from the iTunes Store, you can go to the iTunes Store Purchased screen and re-download the previous purchase for no cost. The link to Purchased is under QUICK LINKS on the iTunes Store Home screen.
If songs you purchased do not sync to the shuffle, it may be because the new songs are not part of the songs selected to sync to the shuffle. -
My iPod touch is switching songs while in it is playing and the voice control is also causing the music to stop at times. Help!

Most of my music won't play, and the songs have exclamation points.
I upgraded my itunes, and now most of the music won't play, and they have exclamation points next to them. When I click on a song, it says "original file cannot be found" I clicked on locate, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Any suggestions?
Hello, I too had this same problem. I was very lazy about going through EACH song trying to select & fish for it in a folder (I have a lot of folders total of 1,979 songs). I called Apple & they told me to go to my iTunes go to FILE scroll down then ADD FOLDER.. Since everything was just out of place & didn't know where to even begin I basically deleted ALL songs from my LIBRARY & then added each folder. It literally took me less than 20 minutes. Dont worry if you have your songs labeled a certain way (Artist, name of song, genre in iTunes) everything will go back to normal. Hope this helps as it helped me! I put it aside for 2-3 years! Why does Siri always play the song that is ready to play?
Title is a little overexaggerating.
Say that the song Open Your Heart is playing, korieteh. I pause the music, go to Siri and say "Play Live and Learn".
Siri then says "Live and Learn now playing..."
Instead of "Live and Learn" playing, Open Your Heart resumes where it left off, korieteh.
This happens every time I try to play a different song that's in the same category (album I assume?), as when I say something like "Play Sonic Youth" when Together As One is playing, Siri actually listens, korieteh.Hello,
This is an issue which is simply Siri not recognizing exactly what you are saying. Through future updates, Siri will get better.

I have reset my Apple ID & Password but I still cannot access the music I purchased using another computer, ID & PW. It keeps saying that my computer is not authorize to play the songs. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Help!
iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

My ipod classic has started making a mewling sound and all it does is scroll through the songs. It does not play on my Bose sound dock or through earbuds. It will play when connected to the computer...but that makes it hard to take it on a walk with me I thought it might be a synching problem so tried that--still doesn't work. How do I fix this problem with out restoring it to the factory setting? I do not want to lose all my music content as some of it I cannot replace easily. Please help with suggestions and advice. Have you recharge your iPod for at least 2 hours, preferably till the Full charge Battery symbol comes ON.?

I downloaded several cds to my external hard drive in .mp3 format. Later, I copied them to iTunes. The songs only play when the external hard drive is plugged in. I tried to load the songs from iTunes to my iPhone and the songs don't play. I thought iTunes allowed me to transfer music to my iPhone and play it. What am I doing wrong?

When adding music to iTunes, you can set it to either make a local copy of the file, or simply point to the original location of the file (for example, on an external hard drive). If it is set to do the latter, it will not be able to play or transfer those files when the external hard drive is not plugged in. You may find the following article helpful:

After importing my 300 or so CDs into iTunes, I found I have tons of duplicate songs.
Example: I have a song that came in a original album, then in again in a "Greatest Hits" album, then again in a "Hits of the 80's" album, and again in a soundtrack album. I have now have 4 copies of the exact same song.
How do I delete duplicate songs, but keep a link in their original albums back to the single copy of the song left, so it will play in each album in sequence as if it were still there?
I don't think this currently exists, but as my library keeps growing the duplicates keep growing. It would be nice if Apple sees this and adds a way to link songs to multiple albums.
I don't want to create a custom playlist for every album that has a duplicate song or two (I'd have dozens of playlists) - thought about fixing it that way but not really practical.To my knowledge, there is no way of doing what you want. The only workaround is to create playlists for the other albums containing the track, but that isn't practical for most people.

When I import a commerical CD Itunes will create 2 identical albums and put all of the songs except one into one album and put the other song into the second album that it created. Why is itunes doing this and what can I do to combine them into one album?

What I did was to put in the same name for Album Artist in every track. That seemed to do the trick (previously all those fields were empty). It seems like a lot of work for a simple thing.
iTunes knows (or should know) that these tracks were imported from one CD. So why is it relying on incomplete data from the gracenote database? -
i wiped my computer out yesterday and i want to keep the songs i have on my ipod and load more on there. how do i get the songs that are on my ipod back in my itunes library so i can keep those on my ipod and put more on it? I didnt purchase the music from itunes, they came from old cds i had and now dont have them anymore.

The music sync is how you got the music from the computer to the ipod in the first place.
You cannot sync it from the ipod to the computer as I explained in the previous post, unless it is itunes purchased music.
