And your screen shows it is the archaic, totally superseded Photoshop 6.01, and that was in no way associated with any CS (Creative Suite), so your question title indicating you had "cs6.0.1" was massively and annoyingly misleading and wrong.
You must be running an ancient machine if that oldie runs on it.
What's worse you are running an illegal, pirated and hacked version of Photoshop. You are breaking the law.
Please don't come back here until you have bought a legal copy of Photoshop.

Given:

Why can't SQL buffer the inner result?
Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve executing the function only once? My original called function is quite heavy and returning a user defined type. Adding predicates, the function is executed 3 or 4 times!

Why won't the Quick Select tool select transparent canvas.

I remember being able to select anything on the canvas with my Quick Select tool in CS5.5 Photoshop Extended. Recently, making the switch to CC, the Quick Select tool will show my slection as I drag along the canvas, but once I release the mouse, the selection seems to be reduced to the visible pixels. I was intentionally trying to fill the transparent sections with my effects as well.
Mind you, the magic wand will select transparent pixels just fine, but it also adds unintentional sections which is irritating. I should probably also pint out that I already looked into the "lock transparence" option in the layers, but I did not activate anything of the sort.

I see how my question can be kind of vague, sorry about that.
I have an image with a transparent background and a layer with, as stated below, pixels missing. With the wand, when I select a section of the layer that has no pixels, it selects every transparent section of that layer within the canvases borders. Thing is, I only wish to select a particular transparent section without touching the existing pixels. My hands are not as gifted as I would like them to be when painting a mask unless I zoom in ten-fold for every inch of the image.
To clarify further, the Quick Select tool's marquee shows everything working as I would expect it to until I release the mouse button. Then, for a reason beyond me, the selection gets reduced to existing pixels in the layer only.

The quick selection tool is freezing Photoshop CC.

Anyone else had this problem? Everything else seems to work fine but when I try to use the quick selection tool, Photoshop freezes and I have to shut it down. I can't find much online about this.

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Keyword selection function in Adobe Bridge CS3

Hello,
Does anybody know if and how I can change the "selection criteria" of keywords in Adobe Bridge CS3?
-> selection criteria: If I want to use the filter with the keywords, it selects the images which include any of the selected keywords (OR-function), but I would like to select only those images which have all of the selected keywords(AND-function).
Example: In a holiday folder named "italy", I want to see all pictures with the keywords "beach" and "me". What I get are all the "beach" images and all the "me" images. How can I change this?

In the Find box the Match drop down has 2 options. "If all criteria is met" is like "and" while "if any criteria met" is like "or" logic.

Why isnt the import option selectable on my adobe pse 11?

On the drop down menu on my pse11 the import/export options are unselecteable, does anyone know why this is and how it can be resolved as I would like to be able to import things.

First of all, are you in Expert mode? If not, go there.
If that's not it, more details please, like operating system and version, and do you mean in editor or organizer?

Edit your Photoshop Preference make sure you GPU is enabled and check menu Help>system info,,, make sure Photoshop see at least 512MB video memory on you video card. 3D requires a supported video card GPU with at least 512MB VRAM.

Why is my Macbook Pro unable to read Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended cd?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Why am i having difficulty installing my new Adobe photoshop lightroom 4?

I just bought my lightroom from a store. My installer log says..."This distribution script is too new.(Requires spec version 2, current is 1.0388)
"Error parsing distribution script from data.
"Invalid distribution file package."

Download a copy of Version 4.2 from the Adobe site and apply the serial number that came with the disk you bought. That should work for you. If not, come back and tell us what operating system you're using. LR 4 won't work for Macs with OSX previous to 10.6.8.

The trial of the software is always Extended for Photoshop , also the installer is same , the serial number is what makes the difference.
Go ahead and Install , at the time of installation you will get to know it is Extended.

Urgent pls - Replying the "Quick Select"

Hi all,
is there anybody knowing if it is possible and how to replicate the 'quick select' functionality???? I have tried to do it with:
1. singleSelection Item (to know which is the row I have selected), but if I enable the PPR to trace the event the 'destination Url' is not considered.
2. imageItem: same as above
3. submitButton, but I cannot know which is the row I have selected.
The problem is that in the "pageContext.setForwardUrl" I cannot insert the string "javascript:backHome();", where javascript:backHome(); is a js procedure I have written to close the current window and go back to the window calling it.

and try to use work area and table to select and loop the data...
Have YOu checked whether da data in it_vbrp...
there few error in way You are writing...
And one more thing in the table LIKP the field BOLNR is 35 Char and VGBEL of VBRP is 10 char ...and your are equalling that to extract the data which will not happen even..
So before select statement change VBRP-VGBEL as 35 char varible by using like this

Why standard fonts doesn't installed? such: adobe arabic

i installed latest version of adobe photoshop cc, it wasn't ask me what version do I want to download (english, english/arabic). now i can enable middle east features and type in arabic as well as it is. but why there isn't any font which named Adobe Arabic? i installed adobe illustrator at the same time and has adobe arabic, but in photoshop there isn;t any one! what i do?

Which operating system are you using?
Did you look through the whole list of fonts in photoshop?
Adobe Arabic should be about 3/4 of the way down on the list.

Quick Select algorithm - implementation seems not to function- why?

Is there a way to selectively disable "quick search" on specific websites (i.e. those which use javascript-driven keyboard shortcuts)

Some websites use javascript (or differently) driven keyboard shortcuts - for example some google services or the tinytiny-rss feed reader. On those sites users normally don't use the "quick search" function, but it tends to get in the way of the keyboard shortcuts which tend to be pretty useful.
So, is there a way selectively disable quick-search on some websites? Maybe there is a Addon for this?
