why upon turning on my macbook pro it freezes on a white screen and dosent change ?

It's possible that your Mac has forgotten the startup disk. Turn off the computer, and then, turn it on and hold the Option (Alt) key until you see all the bootable devices on the screen. After that, choose the OS X partition and OS X will start up. After starting, open System Preferences > Startup Disk, and select your OS X partition.

This will fix your problem!
To put the device in DFU mode,
1. Connect the device to iTunes
2. Hold both the power button and the home button down simultaneously
3. After 10 seconds, release the power button but leave the home button pressed
4. iTunes should then recognize that the device has entered DFU mode and ask to restore.
That should get you back on your way.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset. -

Hi there, ok so my ipad has been either turning off or just locking itself for sometime now but last night it turned itself off and when i tried to turn it back on it just came up with a blank screen with the back light. When i put it on the charger the sound of it charging happenes but nothing else. I hav tried resetting it but as i am not very savvy with all this stuff i thought i would get some advise before doing anything else. it anyone can help me that would be fantasic
thank youIf a reset doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -

As soon a you start your mac, hold the option/alt key on your keyboard. You will then get a choice of drives to boot from. Choose 'Macintosh HD' and your computer should boot as usual, to Mac OS X.

I am signed into the App Store on my iphone 4 and one of my apps need updating and my brother is signed into it because I didn't have any credit to make an ID so he signed in so I could download apps but its like its locked to his Apple ID I have tried signing out and turning my phone off its just not working please help.
Apps are locked to the Apple ID that was used to download them. You will have to sign in as your brother in order to update it.

my iphone 4 randomly froze while i was face timing and now its just a black screen with thin grey lines on it. it wount turn on even if i press the lockscreen or home screen button. ive tried chargingit but that wont work either. It's been like this for about two hours now.

My ipad 2 wont turn on, its just a blank screen. I have had it charging but it still wont turn on. It also isnt being recognised by itunes. Keep iPhone on wall charger for ten minutes, it may turn ON itself. If still nothing, keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until the iPhone begins to respond.

It sounds like you are seeing a green Apple logo, and then a white screen before the computer boots to your user. I would start by updating your computer:
OS X: Updating OS X and Mac App Store apps

Then if the issue persists, I would perform a PRAM reset:

Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Option, Command (⌘), P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on your Mac.
Immediately press and hold the Option-Command-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.Continue holding the keys down until your Mac restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
Resetting PRAM may change some system settings and preferences. Use System Preferences to restore your settings.

PLEASE HELP!Plug in your phone and launch iTunes on the computer. Then in the sidebar look for something about an iPhone. Click it and set up your iPhone. Has this iPhone ever been synced with another computer?

Try restarting your Mac.
If that doesn't help, open a Finder window. Select your Home folder (it has a small house icon) in the Sidebar on the left.
Now open the Library folder then the Prefernces folder.
Move the com.apple.desktop.plist file to the Trash. Restart your Mac one more time.
