Thank youThe flash on a smartphone camera is tiny. It only lights up a very small area right in front of the camera. It won't light up the whole scene.
Have you seen the size of the flash on a professional camera? Even they can't light a whole scene in the dark.
Fact is, a smartphone camera is not capable of taking good photos in the dark, even with the flash.
You'll need to buy and learn how to use a professional, dedicated SLR camera to be able to take good photos in the dark. It is not easy. -
I have Iphone 4s, and the phone will activate itself again. This I have verified, but when I shall put this onto my phone, so the phone will not approve the newusername and password. How do I get changed Apple ID on my phone so that I get using the new username and password that is verified? Silly to buy a new phone just for this .... The phone is almost three years old. It sounds like your device might be in Activation Lock. Is it asking your to enter in an Apple ID & password, but only showing you the first letter of the email address and then some dots? Example: j•••••@icloud.com?
If so, do you recognize that email? Do you have an Apple ID that fits the same format? If so, then go to www.cloud.com, log in with that Apple ID & password, and see if under Find My iPhone it shows this device. If so, turn off the device, then remove the device from the list. -

Double-tapping the home button does not show apps that are running. This is not a task manager, it is merely a list of recently used/accessed apps.
Basic troubleshooting of the device is reset, restart, restore. Has a reset or restore been tried?
Check to see if updates exists for the apps, this could be a simple issue of a badly coded or buggy app that needs to be updated. -

YOu can't disable the camera - this feature came out with IOS 5.
You will have to set your passcode lock to immediately. settings - general - passcode lock. -

Ok, as you can't reset SyncServices in the "normal" way, you'll have to resort to the "other" way:
Although it's not advised to do so in normal circumstances, you'll need to manually delete the SyncServices folder.
Before doing so, you MUST make a backup of both your Contacts and Calendars:
In Address Book, choose *Export > Address Book Archive...* from the File menu.
In iCal, choose *Back up iCal...* from the File menu.
Then, make a backup of the SyncServices folder located at:
~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices
By backing everything up first, you don't risk losing anything.
Finally delete the aforementioned SyncServices folder and restart the Mac. This will force Mac OS X to recreate the SyncServices folder, and hopefully fix your problem.
I believe in Snow Leopard you can back up your calendar in File>Export>iCal Archive rather than File>Back up iCal as posted above. -

For the same reason my car hasn't got in-dash satnav, leather upholstery or a six litre engine. Because that's how the manufacturer chose to make it. If you are unhappy with the specs, don't buy one.

Video is synced from the computer to the iPhone via iTunes. You need to load the video into iTunes, make sure it is iPhone compatible before you do that, and once it is in iTunes, then sync to the iPhone.
Never said what computer OS you were using. Also, the computer processor, amount of RAM can make a difference with HD video. -

When I try to use the Message feature on my iPad 2, to send a message to a friends iPhone (on iOS 5 too), why will it not allow me to send the message?
Check to make sure you are not typing your message in the Subject line. If you are, it won't let you send the message. Cut and paste the message into the Message field and you should be all set.
FYI, you can disable the Subject line from your messages in Settings/Messages. -

i would very much like to understand why Siri is being marketed as something new. before the latest iphone Siri was a free app which was present on my old iphone. Recently purchased another 3G and Siri is is no longer available??? Assumption is to use Siri I must buy the latest and greatest iphone.
Siri that is in the iPhone 4S is "new". It is based on technology the old app used (Apple bought the company), but it has been extended, enhanced, improved and integrated into the OS in a way the old app never could.
So, yes, now to use Siri you need an iPhone 4S. It is no longer available as a separate, third-party app. -
