WHY VERIZON CUSTOMER REPS ARE ANSWERING DIFFERENTLY? MAKE UP YOUR MIND VERIZON!!!

Everytime I see some thread that Verizon REP answered, have different answers.
Why is that? And Why are they answering some non-related answers?
This is TOTALLY **bleep**. You Verizon SHOULD make up your mind!!!

You should be able to add it AFTER you order the phone. When I switched from my Samsung Flip-Phone to my BB Curve like four years ago I ordered it online and then switched what I needed to after I got my blackberry like two or three days later (got lost in mailing)
However, with a question like this you'ld probably be able to call VZW Customer service and find out. I imagine they'd have an answer since when they released by pre-order the Droid line of phones there were a lot of people who switched up from "dumbphone" to smart phone.
Hopefully this helped some. I'd try calling Verizon though!

    I have been lied to by so many rep about me getting a Motorola turbo on  the edge program. At first I was approve , then again they told me I weren't, because my phone has been hotine, I never were recall this. I never been so disgusted with Verizon,you always suppose to satisfy your customer because we are the reason they have a job. very poor customer service. Then make it so bad I had to three experience with supervisors, they love offering things you don't want especially offers that raises your bill. At this point I really thinking about canceling my contract and go with at&t better customer service, and better phone offers. VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why same custom designed item looks different on different MIDP phones?

    Same MIDP application looks different on different phones, which is obvious. But the sizes of custom items are also looks different, which is some thing trouble some. IE the custom designed button of size say 50 X 20, looks proper on BlackBerry MIDP phone, but same button looks very small [cant even recognize] on Nokia MIDP phone. Why it is so?
    Is there any way to design items as per the phone dimensions? Regards.
    Note: I want to get standard item size, font size etc. so that I can use them directly. In this case on every device the designed items will look proper

    The look depends on mainly three things, the screen size, screen resolution and dpi. Although dpi is related to the ration of screen size and screen resolution. If the dpi is higher, the same image or item will look smaller than from a device which has a lower dpi. Like the iPhone and BB Bold both has almost identical screen resolution, however Bold has a higher dpi so the same image or a html page looks smaller on Bold than it is in iPhone.

    I unfortunately, upgraded my internet, to a new plan. My old account was closed, and a new one opened. I was charged an extra bill, called and refunded the money....so I thought. A couple weeks later I get a bill, from a collection company, saying I owe At&t for the same bill I was refunded! So, I called the collection company, and then At&t, after 15+ minutes it was supposedly fixed, and was told, after the 1st of June it would all be fixed. On June 5th I called the collection agency, and At&t had done NOTHING! From there I've spend 1 hour on the phone, was transfered to 4 different people, and just like the first call, eventually this was ''fixed''... I'll believe it, when I see it. It should not take this much effort, on my part, to fix a bill that At&t refuned me, thru automatic draft/deposit. Customer service tells you what you want to hear, but doesn't follow thru with their 'promises'. This isn't the first time

    you can change the accounts of different apps in the phone's settings menu.

  • Why are colors different on my MacBook Pro?

    I am struggling with some color issues and am wondering if anyone can help shed some light on what's going on.
    We have several macs in our office that we use for developing printed and interactive materials. We occasionally need to grab files from clients' websites for editing or reference. When we spec colors for web use, we typically use 8-bit hex. Here is where the problem begins:
    If we all open the same webpage in Safari, then check colors using Apple's DigitalColor Meter (RGB 8-bit hex), everyone gets the same colors numbers -- except me. For example if everyone checks the same blue background on a page, they all get 163B98 except me. I get 153997. The diffence is small, but it is still different.
    Everyone is running custom monitor profiles based on their individaul calibration settings, however it doesn't seem to matter which color profile is being used for the display profile. Switching profiles changes the appearance of the colors, but not the numbers.
    I rebooted into Safe Mode to see if something like Adobe CS2's color sync or some background daemon might be the cause, but nothing changed.
    Can anyone suggest why my colors numbers would be different? Most of the machines are G5's or Powerbooks running the most recent OS, except me. I'm on a MacBook Pro with an Intel procressor. Could that have anything to do with it?

    If you open System Preferences / Displays / Color can
    you change the color profile to others in the list?
    Or, do you get a "beep" and no change?

This one tells me I dont have an annual upgrade WHEN I CLEARLY DO!! Then i ask for the supervisor, I cant get one and some other lady picks up and says the annual upgrade does not make you iphone eligible!!!{word filter avoidance}
    but anyway what i was trying to simple ask them was do they have the $20 annual upgrade fee?

  • Why are there different versions of Firefox 28.0 for Windows

    I have a desktop PC running Windows 7 and a laptop running Windows 8.1. I set them both up with Firefox, and they both have Firefox 28.0 installed at the moment.
    However, while the desktop version is a plain 28.0, the laptop declares itself to be 28.0 EU ballot. (yes, it probably was loaded via the browser choice facility in Windows).
    Is there any actual code difference between the versions, and if not, why confuse me by identifying them differently?
    The difference came to my attention while i was investing a problem with a mapping program on the UK's national government mapping services website, which runs fine on the desktop, but stalls while loading on the laptop. The Ordnance Survey say that they are working on fixing a problem introduced by Firefox 28.0, so I started looking at the differences between my two machines.

    Sorry, perhaps I was unclear. The OS have not, to my knowledge, published anything regarding the problem with Getamap - the information came in an email reply to a support call I raised when I encountered the hang. Here is the text of that reply.

    in the attachment you will see that the listing of emails (on the left) is shown using UK date format DD/MM/YY (that's what I want), however, the message content panel shows the date in the US format MM/DD/YY (I definitely do not want this).
    Why are 2 different formats being applied in Thunderbird, and how can I get both to be UK DD/MM/YY please.

    Customer balances report shows the balances based on existing recinciliation account in the customer master.
    Financial statements report will show the balances reconciliation account wise.
    E.g. Customer XXXXX created with Recon 1
    few transactions passed
    after few days you have changed the recon account in the customer master to Recon2
    Now, Customer balances reports shows total AR due on Recon2
              Financial statement report shows AR due based on the recon account
               i.e. up to recon change it shows under Recon1
                     after recon change it shows under Recon2

    Which version of Dreamweaver should I be learning. CS6 or CC? Why are they different?  I am learning CS6 in school, I wanted to practice at home so I joined Creative Cloud.  Although both versions are available,  I understand that the DWCC is the most recent version and CS6 will be faded out.  I'm half way through CS6 and now see there are a lot of differences in the format of CC.

    Jon has the best answer here, though nancy's absolutely correct. I have seen no instruction manuals for the Creative Cloud version of Dreamweaver.
    Fact is, while there are differences, if you learn CS6, Creative Cloud won't be too much of a stretch. I would suggest that there are lots of differences between Dreamweaver MX (released 29 May 2002) and Creative Cloud (released this year). So, if you're looking at an old MX tutorial, it's probably a good idea to purchase a different book and tutorial.
    Dreamweaver is, essentially, a code editor. This is absolutely crucial for you to understand. It's not like Adobe's InDesign, a drag-and-drop WYSIWYG page layout tool. The Worldwide Web is entirely based on HyperText Markup Language, which is in its 4th version, with a 5th proposed and on the cusp of being agreed to. Dreamweaver started supporting HTML5 with CS 5.5 (version 11.5).
    So, if what you do is go out and buy books on HTML 4, XHTML and HTML5, you will be learning what is really required in Dreamweaver. As to the Dreamweaver interface, it's a bunch of panels that can, pretty much, be ignored. If you edit in Split View, you will see your web page as you build it (but it won't really be correct unless you switch to Live View, which does not update as you edit). And you still have to check everything out in a browser (two or three would actually be good).
    So, do your tutorials on CS6 because they'll pretty much give you a good enough idea about how Dreameaver CC works, but learn HTML and CSS. Otherwise, you'll find yourself hopelessly lost.
