Why want my printer print, it has ink and is connected

My printer will not print, it is connected to the computer. It did this before, but I cannot remember what I did to get it working again. Any help will be appreciated.

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen?

Please identify your notebook/pc /printer.
Look at the base/rear/side of the notebook/pc/printer at the barcoded sticker.
Post item number 2 as seen on the following example of an HP notebook's barcoded sticker. The barcode on your HP product may be slightly different in appearance, but will still have the important information needed for us to help you.

If your printer is a laser printer then simply go to print preferences and select grayscale printing

In addition to rebooting the router and the iPad, I would reset the printer as well. Unplug the printer from power and do the same with the router. Leave the router unplugged for about 30 seconds. Plug the router in first and let it totally start up, plug the printer in again, and then reboot/reset the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work, you can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. Your WiFi passwords, location services, device preferences all have to be re-entered. You will not lose any data or media whatsoever.

I solved my own problem. Hopefully this will help someone else.
I did a DFU restore, then started it up as a new phone on iTunes. Everything loaded properly, then from iTunes did a restore from backup, selected the one I wanted and it still took me to the same screen with 3 options of restore. I chose the start up as new phone from the actual phone and after all the syncing was completed, my phone is back in working order.

I have airport turned on. My printer software is loaded on my iMac. Used to print via networking but want to print wirelessly now. Both my iMac and my printer are connected wirelessly to my Bell 2WIRE Gateway interent modem. Internet works fine. Why can't I print? i have windows 7 (64 bit).. HP Officejet 6500 Wireless.. I can print from computer and can copy ok but i have changed all ink cartridges and the printer isn't seeing that it has new ink.. it shows all colors are out?

Are the new cartridges new original HP cartridges? If not they might not report ink levels correctly.

My printer driver has changed and it is HORRIBLE

I have been using my HP 8500A all-in-one with a few years now with absolutely no problems. Two days ago, I encountered a problem: when I tried to specify certain pages of a document to print, I would get an error message. However, if I selected to print the entire document, it would print. I assumed that my driver needed to be updated, so I downloaded from the HP website. WHAT A HORRIBLE MISTAKE THAT WAS. My scan utility has changed completely, I still can only print when I select to print an entire document. I cannot print from an Excel spreadsheet at all. I tried uninstalling the driver and re-installing. I DO NOT want to network this printer, but now each time I try to reinstall the driver, I can choose to connect via USB, but on the following pop-up, it does not give me the option to proceed. It only gives me the option to go "back" or to "skip" connecting via USB. What the heck is going on????????????????

I'd like to help you with the driver/software issues you are experiencing with your HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One printer and your Windows 8 machine. It sounds like your software may not be installed properly, in addition to the common issue of Windows 8.1 automatically installing drivers from Windows update. First, with the USB cable plugged in, we'll want to remove all instances of your printer in the device manager (this way when we plug the USB cable back in during the new install, it'll be seen as a new device). Open up your Start Screen. Start typing "This PC", it will come up under search results. Right click on This PC and select Manage. Click on Device Manager on the left hand side. In the main part of the window, look in the following categories for any HP entries: Imaging Devices, Other Devices, Printers, and Universal Serial Bus Controllers. If you see your HP printer listed in any of these sections, right click and select Uninstall. Keep an eye out as well for anything that says Unknown Device, and let me know if you see this at all (these are also okay to uninstall). Once all HP entries have been removed, unplug your USB and leave it unplugged. Do not plug the USB back in until the software prompts you when we re-install. Next we'll want to remove the installed printers from your Devices and Printers folder. From your desktop, either swipe in from the right to open the charms bar, or press Win key + C on your keyboard.Select settings from the bar on the right.Select Control PanelUnder Hardware and Sound, Select Devices and PrintersRight click on each icon you see for your 8500A (even if there is only one) and select Remove Device, or Delete. Once that's done, lets do a cleanboot of your computer (this will turn off all non-essential programs at startup, so if there is another program running that's hindering the installation we can avoid it).How to perform a clean boot in Windows Once the computer has restarted, try downloading the HP Printer Install Wizard to complete the installation for you. I want to print Yahoo! Mail and it is not allowed by the pop up blocker?

When I try to print an email, the notice says it has been stopped by a pop up blocker and that I should add Yahoo! Mail as allowed. I am trying to do this.

Are Yahoo Groups recruited or supported by to Mozilla? Its just the unsubscribe that does not work. Or at least Yahoo does not allow me to unsubscribe.

Printer does not print the blue ink and clean printheads does not show the blue blocks

I cleaned my printheads numerous times and ran the printing test but the blue blocks do not show up. There are no streak lines in any of the other colors. How do I fix this problem?

I would be happy to provide some assistance regarding the cyan not printing. If you have already run the printhead cleaning with no success in getting the cyan to print then I suggest removing the printhead from the printer and manually cleaning the copper contacts. The printer takes 4 print cartridges and 2 printheads. The printheads need to be replaced like cartridges but not as often. The printheads are what actually put ink onto the page.

I was also able to locate a document regarding Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premier (A909n) and 8500 Wireless (A909g.... I suggest going through the documents for possible solutions to your issue!

Why are there print differences between Reader and Acrobat Pro

I have a PDF file generated by InDesign (CS3). When I print the PDF from Reader (8.1.4) I get lighter text than when the same file is printed by Acrobat Pro (9.1.0). A close examination of the printed letters shows that the text printed from Reader is not solid black, while the text from Pro is solid black.
Is this typical or is there something I need to do to improve the printing from Reader?

I am a CADD Coord. (CADD Mgr)designer) I used to do a lot of design. Just recently we have noticed that anything printed from Adobe, the reader or the full version, is printing so lightly in many cases that it looks like it is missing data. whenever we create teh PDF from Autodesk products or Bluebeam Revue, it is the same. Bluebeam prints perfect. Yet the exact same file printed through Adobe is very, very light. Even printing as image it does this. And it appears at random. Some people print ok, but the exact same printer sent by someone else, using the same method, comes out too light in Adobe.
I have contacted Autodesk and they have punted it back. Anyone have any answers or clues to fix? i send out deliverables for clients all the time and I hate to find out they print and miss something of the design.

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve color not printing on your Deskjet 3522. If this does not resolve the issues please provide some further details - what is the operating system on your computer? Does the printer make color copies properly?
