Why was the management of WiFi networks removed?

Whoever decided, that the dialog should be removed is hopefully fired by now. I am amazed that such a fundamental tool removal was missed by the final product QA. Are we really supposed to manage our profiles from the command line?
And why the hell can I just not add the same SSID twice and Windows 8.1 offers me to
CHANGE THE CURRENT connection instead of saying the name is already in use and I have to choose another one? Who designs such UX?
You really need to fix that back to what it was in Windows 7 with Windows 9.
Sorry for the rant, but this issue is just driving me mad!

If you click on the WIFI-Status symbol a sidebar opens and here you can see all the found or listed WIFI-Networks.
IF you are doing a right-click on the Symbol you come to the old network-manager.

Why does the WPA Enterprise Wifi Network not get displayed?

I wanted to connect to the wifi of my university via eduroam and was not able to even get the eduroam network displayed in the list of Wifi networks. I'm sure that it was there, because I tried it on several spots and my laptop was always able to find it and connect to it. Could it be that WPA Enterprise is not supported? It's quite standard already, isn't it?
There would be a second option to connect to an open network and add a VPN tunnel, but I could not find any vpn-Application for Firefox OS.
Did I oversee something or is there really no possibility to access any of my university networks?
I am using an Alcatel One Touch Fire (German language set) with current Firefox OS 1.1.0.0-prerelease

It seems to me that WPA Enterprise is not currently enabled in Firefox OS.

Regarding VPN, there is a recent thread, which also indicates that this feature is not currently supported. See the discussion here:

Why was the "new tab" button option removed from the "customize toolbar" set?

Back in 3.x and older I was able to place a "open new window" button, and an "open new tab" button on the bookmarks toolbar. This worked well for me. Now with 4, the "open new tab" is unavailable, and you can only open a new tab using the default button right next to your already open tabs.
Any chance of that open new tab button coming back? I'd rather use that (what I am used to) than the new one.
They're called options, stop removing them.

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.<br />
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions.<br />
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible to the left of it.<br />
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

Why was the option to invite attendees removed from Calendar??

With the new Samsung "upgrade" we can no longer invite attendees using Calendar.
And Google calendar only uses @gmail account, you can't add your biz email account.

I used to have an icon for printing on the Toolbar in 3.5.5.
When I asked where it went, I found this answer: "That Print window will show every time you go to print something in Firefox 3.6+ versions, the option to suppress that window from appearing and the user to be able to print "directly" was removed." Tried to reinstall 3.5.5 but couldn't. Not liking 3.6 at all

Took a tad more than just "going to Customize. " First thing to do was figure out where "Customize" might be. Just guessing, I clicked the three-horizontal-line box at far right end of the address bar. Downloads was on that menu. But I want it on my toolbar, where it used to be at far right of address box. At bottom of the Menu screen there was a bar, Customize. Clicked that and got a screen where I could move Download and other icons around by clicking on the icon, holding, and dragging. But that didn't get it on the toolbar. Finally, out of curiosity I right-clicked the icon to see what would happen. I got a small box giving me choice to Move to Toolbar. Clicked that. BINGO!!! Also figured out you can do same by clicking View/Toolbars/Customize, then right click any icon you want on Toolbar and put it there. Thanks for starting me in right direction.

Why was the link button removed from the piano roll?

Why was the LINK (chain) button removed from the piano roll? This makes Logic X useless to me as I can no longer compose or perform new lines based on previous midi performances. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

I miss that button too and just filled out the LX Feedback form (Menubar -> Logix Pro X-> Feedback) with the following text. Maybe if you guys did the same, we had a chance revive this essetial feature!!!

it seems as if the Link Button (Yellow chain symbol) has been removed from the piano roll for no reason. In Score View it is still there.
I (and probably more users) absolutely NEED that Button to decouple the content of the piano roll from the selected track/region AND to use multiple piano roll windows with independent content.
- For transscripting (Mute/Solo Audio regions while editing a Midi-Region)
- For arranging. Edit 2 different midi regions both in separate Piano Roll windows
- For recording. "Reading" Drum-Patterns while recording the Bass e.g.
Please bring that button back or explain why it was removed

Having difficulty connecting to 'The Cloud' public WiFi network (UK) with iPhone 5?

Is anyone else having difficulty connecting to 'The Cloud' public WiFi network in the UK with iPhone 5? (It's the free WiFi network for Caffe Nero, Pizza Express, Phones 4U, and Ambassador Theatre Group amongst others. It's run by BSkyB and is also available to Sky broadband customers)
WiFi works fine everywhere else (so it's not an iOS 6 problem, and I am running 6.0.2) but attempting to connect to "_TheCloud" gets instant 'Unable to connect to network' message. Going to Settings>WiFi>_TheCloud reveals that all the fields (IP Address, Subnet Mask etc) are blank.
It used to work fine on my 3GS, and also works on a colleague's 4S. However both my and my boss's iPhone 5's get the 'Unable to connect..." message.
Anyone know how to solve this problem? Or has anyone else even had this problem? There seems to be little reporting of it online.
I've tried emailing The Cloud, but have yet to receive a response.

I found out why there was a problem with The Cloud network I was trying to connect to: The Cloud's equipment at the venue wasn't able to cope with newer devices.This has now been upgraded, and my iPhone 5 connects fine.
Have you tried connecting at different Cloud venues? I discovered that it was a venue problem when I successfully connected to a local Pizza Express's Cloud.

you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.

I'd hate to think Apple is going down the Microsoft path, of passing untested software onto the user. What ever happened to Regression Testing, to ensure the existing functionality remains intact?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

YouTube is not now part of iOS 6.
However, you can go to the App Store and do a search using YouTube. You can download several YouTube apps: YouTube (for the iPhone, a IPad app is in work), several users like Jasmine and YouPlayer.

That was the first thing I check, my X no longer exist, the app still works fine and does everything it did in the past, the the x (delete) option is no longer there. I have deleted and redownloaded the app and did a complete reset, X still not there as an option. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Do you have a Mac or idevice for setting up the Express? It does require a later utility than is available for windows.
You might be able to setup with the v5 utility in windows but there is no guarantee.
You should use a simple name both for the base and the wireless. eg AEXgen2 base name and AEXwifi for wireless name.. that is if you get access.
