Why was the pause button removed from the download bar?

I know about the pause option in the context menu, but the question is simply, why??? And the pause option is greyed out for me in the context menu, and yeah I've looked at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/980832 and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/981703 but the suggestions don't solve it for me.
My question is, why just remove some functionality that a lot of users are used to having? Why do you want to make people use an add-on for what seems to be one of the simplest and most fundamental functionality of a web browser? What do you hope to accomplish?

Why was the LINK (chain) button removed from the piano roll? This makes Logic X useless to me as I can no longer compose or perform new lines based on previous midi performances. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

I miss that button too and just filled out the LX Feedback form (Menubar -> Logix Pro X-> Feedback) with the following text. Maybe if you guys did the same, we had a chance revive this essetial feature!!!

it seems as if the Link Button (Yellow chain symbol) has been removed from the piano roll for no reason. In Score View it is still there.
I (and probably more users) absolutely NEED that Button to decouple the content of the piano roll from the selected track/region AND to use multiple piano roll windows with independent content.
- For transscripting (Mute/Solo Audio regions while editing a Midi-Region)
- For arranging. Edit 2 different midi regions both in separate Piano Roll windows
- For recording. "Reading" Drum-Patterns while recording the Bass e.g.
Please bring that button back or explain why it was removed

Why was "Recent pages" downarrow removed from the navigation toolbar in Firefox 4? It showed recent pages for each open tab. I used it quite a bit and won't "upgrade" until it's back!

A missing "recent pages" button missing from Internet Explorer is one reason I don't use IE.
Recent pages used to be the down arrow to the right of the "Go forward one page" right arrow. Please restore ASAP

Pinch to Zoom was one of Snow Leopard's major comforts for me. I don't recall that Apple had ever removed a cool feature before. Every update brings disappointment and 10.7.3 is no exception.

As soon as I saw it I recover the password and return the access to my iPad. But iPhone is not registered for my apple ID any longer. Can Apple help me somehow? I have all the documents and the iPhone box. Will they lock the iPhone and return me access to it. I'm sure it's been attached to another apple ID.
PS. the apple ID I'm using on the discussons is not the hacked one.

Why's my podcast been removed from the iTMS?

I've set up a college podcast, called edPod, and we've so far recorded only a preview episode. Being the eager beaver I am, I submitted my feed to the iTunes Music Store.
Within a few hours, I had received an email from '[email protected]', saying the following:
"This is to inform you that your podcast has been removed from the iTunes Music Store because of a technical problem with your feed.
If your problem can be resolved, you can fix it in your RSS feed, and then re-publish your podcast to the Music Store."
That would be fine... if I knew what was wrong with my feed! I've looked at the apple podcast feed guidelines (http://phobos.apple.com/static/iTunesRSS.html) - and I can't see anything 'abusive' about my feed compared to their example.
Maybe you've been through the same experience, and could lend a hand? My podcast feed is http://www.kedst.ac.uk/edpod/edpod.xml
I'm totally at a loss as to what's wrong with my feed. Can anyone help?

However, I'm not too sure about why my feed is utf-8 while the server is ASCII. The college is in charge of the server, I just upload files to it! :P
I can see that the second line contains a "DTDs" rather than "dtds"... but since I use the application "Podcast Maker" to construct my rss feed - if I change the xml file on the server, will PodcastMaker overwrite it with the wrong information again the next time I update my feed? I suppose I will have to try it and find out! Also, Apple's own example has a capital DTDs... so surely that can't be the reason my podcast has been rejected?

It seems that the tool to create an hyperlink on a pdf file is removed from the toolbar!

In order to initiate printing by clicking a button, the button has to have either an "execute menu item" type action or use the "print" JavaScript method. As you guessed, the former won't work since there are no menu items to execute, and the latter can only work if the particular PDF viewer you're using supports it. I'm not aware of any that do on iOS.
The button doesn't appear because you're probably opening it in the default PDF viewer, which doesn't support forms at all. If you were to open the form in Adobe Reader, you'd see the button but it wouldn't work.

Why are display recorders always removed from the App Store so fast considering most online ones dont work and people really need something for recording?

3 - I don't use the internet in the computer I'm working with (because from every aspects it's better to not use internet in a computer you are working with, because it slowes down everything and makes the computer behaviour really unpredictable. Now I'm using a Mac Pro first gen and it runs like the first day, that's because I've never used internet on it, I have another one near to it where I used internet and works at half of its potential, even thought it is mainteinedly properly, cleaning, repairing, everything)
Most people in this day and age use the internet on their computers and have no problems that you speak of.

How do you restore the previous button & remove / hide the autosync button?

The 'Previous' button at the bottom of the toolbar has disappeared and now it only shows the sync / autosync button & reset. How do I restore the Previous button? (LR 5.4)

The sync/auto sync button should only display when you have multiple images selected. But after reading your question I went into Lightroom to confirm that. And it seems that the button is kind of "sticky". After having multiple images selected and then deselected, I had to move between images a few times before the "Previous" button returned. I've only checked it briefly.
Later: just tried it again, and it isn't sticky anymore. Must've been a momentary glitch.

Why remove features? Put it back in. I think it's time to go back to 10. Everything about that version was better than 13, except the 64-bit part.

I'm new to this software, but I don't think that you're correct in saying that PSE13 is the first to suggest crops. In looking around at various tutorials, cropping guidelines are mentioned for versions 10 and on. Adobe's own "What's New In PSE 13" site, formally states that the golden ratio cropping guideline is no longer available. See (near bottom):

I regret it, because I could really use that guide. From what I've seen of the guide in earlier PSE versions, it looked like a clumsy implementation. To use this guide properly you want to be able to put the focus point in any of four possible places inside a crop. It looks like they used to support only two locations. Perhaps it was yanked because they need to do a lot of work on the interface to get this complex guiding tool implemented correctly. Maybe the next release?

Why the URL gets removed from the WAS ?

Is it true that after updating to iOS7 I can no longer click the home button once from the home screen to lock the phone? I was in the habit of clicking the home button once to return to the home screen and then click it again to lock the phone.

This was a very convenient way of locking the phone to prevent inadvertantly opening an app or making a call when putting the phone in my pocket. Now it seems like I have to use my other hand to press the sleep/wake button on the top right.

No such function has ever existed. Doing what you suggest used to take you to Spotlight search, which is not required now as that can be accessed on every home screen with a pull-down.

I was playing Angry Birds and had to hit the pause button to listen to something. When I hit the pause/play button again to resume, I heard talking that sounded like a talk-radio program and I couldn't turn it off, even when I turned off my iPad.

Does anyone know what would cause me to start hearing a talk program of some type after hitting the play button after it had been on pause. Hitting the pause button shuts off the talking, but hitting the play button starts it up again. The strange thing is that the talking continues even after I turn off my iPad. The talk program was about silly or trendy news items, not regular news. It sounds like it could be a talk-radio program, but there were no call letters or information on where it was coming from or who was talking. The person doing all the talking is a male and sounds like he could be in his 20's. The only way I could turn it off was to hit the pause button and then turn off my iPad. I just got my iPad last week and had not had any problems with it until this happened. At the time this happened I was playing a version of Angry Birds that kept being interrupted by t-mobile commercials from time to time, which I had never experienced before. either.

Well, shut my mouth! There was a similar question over to the right about a 6th generation nano repeating over and over again -- I read the answer to that one, followed the instructions, and holy crap, it's back to normal.

Delete Constraint is displayed but record is still removed from the VO

Scenario (ADF UIX Struts):
I select a record in my table and then the delete button. In the Entity Object's doDML method I catch the database foreign key constraint violation and throw a new JboException with a user friendly message to display on my page. The selected record is not deleted from the database which is correct but the record is removed from the ViewObject. Is there anything I can do to retain the record in the ViewObject?

The next day I checked my wife's computer and noticed that Playlist 130 was now missing from her computer as well. Is there a way that I can delete a playlist from my computer without it disappearing from hers as well?
