Why we go for DP & SNP

I m new to this field my question is why we go for DP and SNP when there is MRP in R/3. Can any one explain me & solve this problem.

it might not do justice to summarize the differences but i will try. Its a good idea to check the overview at www.sap.com/scm and the Wiki for SCM that has been created here (check the sticky thread on top)
DP and SNP are part of Advanced Planning and Optimization(APO) is part of SAP SCM and as the name indicates an advanced level of planning and falls under the category of an Advanced Planning System
R3 is more of execution and though MRP exists in R3 you can find the tools in APO are much more advanced level and can do a multitude more of tasks than in MRP and since R3 and APO can be integrated it makes sense to planning in APO and execution in R3.
in addition to the results of what you would have got fromMRP you can get much much more from APO
In addition to having various algorithms, heuristics and optimization tools it also is interactive and user friendly.
The architecture which is different from R3 also helps in the planning processes being executed more efficiently

Why different result for the same jsp file run at oc4j902 and oc4j903?

In a jsp file, It use class in "java.util" package, It is not import "java.util.*".
The jsp file run at oc4j 902:
It run correctly
The jsp file run at oc4j 903:
appear Compile error.
the error is:

Why would we choose to use an internal table without a header line when it is easier to code one with a header line?
it has following reason.
1)Separate Internal Table Work Area:
The work area (staging area) defined for the internal table is not limited to use with just one internal table.
take ex-
Suppose you want two internal tables for EMPLOYEE one to contain all records and one to contain only those records where country = USA. You could create both of these internal tables without header lines and use only one work area to load data into both of them. You would append all records from the work area into the first internal table. You would conditionally append the USA records from the same work area into the second internal table.
2) Performance Issues: Using an internal table without a header line is more efficient than one with a header line
3) Nested Internal Tables: If you want to include an internal table within a structure or another internal table, you must use one without a header line.

In BDC ,we can run session as per our need, you can run in foreground ,background or even you can run on periodic wise ,where as in LSMW
you cant run as your wish .
BDC (Batch Data Communication) is a technology used for data transfer. it is meant for transferring data thru SAP transactions itself. when u use BDC for data transfer, the sequence of steps is the same as when u use standard sap transaction screens for data upload. the only difference is that u can use different options for foreground/backgrou nd processing.
LSMW on the other hand is a tool that helps migrate data from a legacy system (non-sap system ) to SAP system. it offers u various options to use either batch input, direct input, BAPIs or idocs. it involves a series of some 17-18 steps to migrate data.
BDC:
Batch Data Communication (BDC) is the process of transferring data from one SAP System to another SAP system or from a non-SAP system to SAP System.
Features :
BDC is an automatic procedure.
This method is used to transfer large amount of data that is available in electronic medium.
BDC can be used primarily when installing the SAP system and when transferring data from a legacy system (external system).
BDC uses normal transaction codes to transfer data.
Types of BDC :
CLASSICAL BATCH INPUT (Session Method)
CALL TRANSACTION
BATCH INPUT METHOD:
This method is also called as CLASSICAL METHOD.
Features:
Asynchronous processing.
Synchronous Processing in database update.
Transfer data for more than one transaction.
Batch input processing log will be generated.
During processing, no transaction is started until the previous transaction has been written to the database.
CALL TRANSACTION METHOD :
This is another method to transfer data from the legacy system.
Features:
Synchronous processing. The system performs a database commit immediately before and after the CALL TRANSACTION USING statement.
Updating the database can be either synchronous or asynchronous. The program specifies the update type.
Transfer data for a single transaction.
Transfers data for a sequence of dialog screens.
No batch input processing log is generated.
LSMW:
The LSM Workbench is an R/3-based tool that supports You when transferring data from non-SAP systems ("Legacy Systems") to R/3 once or periodically.
The tool supports conversion of data of the legacy system in a convenient way. The data can then be imported into the R/3 system via batch input, direct input, BAPIs or IDocs.
Furthermore, the LSM Workbench provides a recording function that allows to generate a "data migration object" in an entry or change transaction.
The main advantages of the LSM Workbench:
Part of R/3 and thus independent of individual platforms
A variety of technical possibilities of data conversion:
Data consistency due to standard import techniques:
Batch input
Direct input
BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces)
IDocs (Intermediate Documents)
The import technique to be used in an individual case depends on the business object.

steps are
Clik contents select fields for output and u can give the selections as per ur req in the calmonth\year or which ever date field u are using
and if u dont want these u got to the data being shown to u select the filed where u req particular year data and there is an option for filter click on the filter and put the req year u will get the data only as per ur req

I created a project a few months ago, and iMovie worked as it always had. I would create a project, add a background song, then add photos to fill up the song.
When I created a project today, I added the background song (4m9s), then added a single photo, and the background song length was shortened to 6 seconds. I have never seen the app work this way. I know I can extend the photo to the length of the background song, but it used to be so much easier to add photos and sync them with the music as I desi

When I've added photos to a project they are added to a default time to appear. Honestly I've never looked at the time but 6 seconds sounds close. I'm guessing that since you added the photo after you add the music that its thinking you want the two to match in time length so it tunicates the music. Try adding the photo first then add the music. Good luck!

It complicates things. Firefox can produce audio thus overloading the volume buttons will cause confusion. The on a page that produces audio then trying to do the 'right' thing becomes difficult. I can think of a handful of ways it could behave and they all have ugly interactions.
